Sehr schöne Udo Lindenberg Ausstellung, die man als Fan gesehen haben sollte.... Auch die Kunsthalle ist nach der Renovierung sehr schön geworden. Nur welcher Architekt hat sich die Wasserhähne in den Toiletten an den Waschbecken einfallen lassen?

On the website of the Kunsthalle Rostock, it is stated that the collection covers East German Modernism, including works from the Dresden Late Expressionism and the Neuen Saechlichkeit. This is what motivated our visit. However, these works are not open to regular visitors, and the visitor is not informed of this. We were not able to find any instance in which this was mentioned on the gallery's website. We basically had to find out for ourselves: after paying for our entry tickets, we visited two interesting but rather small temporary exhibitions, and that was it. The 8 Euro p/person entry price seemed to contribute to the misleading, as for this price one usually expects a visit that lasts more than 20 minutes. For example, in the region, at the Pommersches Landesmuseum in Greifswald, one pays 7,50 Euros and one has access to a great paintings collection that includes works from Caspar David Friedrich, Vincent van Gogh and other masters, as well as the archeological and historic sections, and the temporary exhibitions. After asking the person at the reception, we were told that one could book a special visit to see these works. Again, this is not mentioned on the website, which unables non-local visitors to properly plan their visit. Please make sure that you properly inform visitors what they will be able to access, both on your website and upon entry. A visit to a museum should be a rewarding experience, not a deceptive one.

Udo in der Kunsthalle Rostock: Eine wirklich sehenswerte Ausstellung - super gemacht und sein Leben und künstlerisches Wirken sehr gut in Szene gesetzt! Und das muss auch einmal gesagt werden: Das Personal in der Kunsthalle ist überaus freundlich, hilfreich und entgegenkommend! Bitte mehr davon :-)

Ein absolut sehenswerter Ort… Das wohl einzige Haus, was zu Zeiten der DDR speziell für die Kunst gebaut wurde, beherbergt seit 01.06.2023 eine tolle Ausstellung über das vielseitige Schaffen von Udo Lindenberg. Angefangen mit seinen ersten Erfolgen in ganz jungen Jahren bis zum aktuellsten Erfolg wird sehr viel geboten. Fazit: unbedingt besuchen!

Ich bin begeistert. Die Ausstellung von Udo Lindenberg - ein Muss für alle Udo Fans. Die Ausstellung greift vom frühen Schaffen bis in die heutige Zeit... eine tolle Zusammenstellung mit Bildern, Filmmaterialien, Original-Utensilien von Auftritten. Auch Goldene Scheiben und Auszeichnungen sind zu sehen, nicht zu vergessen, eine große Anzahl von Bildern und Likörellen, aus Udos künstlerischem Wirken. Die Verlängerung der Ausstellung bis zum 29.10.2023 sollte noch Wagemütige Ansporn sein. Übrigens, wir sind extra aus Leipzig angereist.

A rather small art gallery inside a beautiful park in Rostock. It was founded in 1969 and hosted many collections of modern paintings and photographs since. At the time of my visit, there was a collection of paintings of "Ulrike Theusner" which was pretty interesting even though I am not the biggest fan of modern art, I enjoyed the exhibition. The entry is 8Euros and 6 for students. Tuesdays to Sundays 11.00 - 18.00

Ausstellung - Udo Lindenberg. Hochinteressant und umfangreicher als ich dies erwartet habe. Es spannt sich das gesamte Leben des Künstlers für den Betrachter auf und führt diesen zu interessanten Einblicken. Die Kunstwerke sind sehens- und lesenswert... ich mach mein Ding!!

Alles sehr unübersichtlich. Kein Übersichtsplan oder Erläuterung, wo sich welche Ausstellung befindet. Die Tür im 1. Stock hätte man nicht mit der Hand, sondern über einen Tastschalter öffnen sollen. Das ziemlich genervte Personal hat uns Besucher übellaunig darauf hin gewesen. EIN Schild an der Tür hätte das verhindert! Es war so nicht erkennbar. Die Udo Lindenberg Ausstellung aber ein Highlight. Gut aufgebaut und konzipiert! Das war es wert zu kommen.

Tolle Halle, sauber und sehr gut organisiert. Die Lindenberg Ausstellung ist echt sehenswert. Das Personal freundlich und zurückhaltend. War ein gelungener Besuch bei euch.

Man erreicht die Kunsthalle mit der Straßenbahn. Linie 1,2 und.5 fahren dorthin Richtung Reutershagen) Tickets sind am Automaten zu lösen und sind dann entwertet, das Ticket gilt dann 90 Minuten. Die Kunsthalle ist modern, dort ist ein kleines Bistro, freundliches Personal im Empfangsbereich.- Außen ist ein Skulpturenpark. Wir waren am 29.08.23 zur Udo- Lindenberg-Ausstellung, die absolut sehenswert ist.

To me, the exhibition of Wenke was utterly random, minimalistic and dull - to be euphemistic. We spend 10 minutes in there that felt like 2 hours. We were lucky that we had a combined pass, so we could at least see the exhibition downstairs which was at least a bit more interesting.

It belongs to Rostock. You can go there every now and then and visit different exhibitions and concerts.
