Good sized gravel car park. Wide gravel paths with a selection of smaller non-gravel paths. Popular with dogs walkers, so (sadly) watch your step for first hundred metres or so from the car park.

Great circular walks with many forest tracks to get away from the crowds. Great treat for the four legged family member. Parking available.

We came in early January and the tracks were not too muddy. The circular walks can take you through the woods or on the tracks, although the tracks were muddier than the woods at some points. A fairly easy route without too much of an incline. As there are many tracks you can choose a route length that's right for you. Plenty of parking and other walkers.

Great woodland for walking. Dogs allowed. Some gravel paths. Others are just mud and very wet with thick mud after a lot of rain. Some parking, but no other facilities.

Busy, unmanaged mature and plantation conifers, invasive rhododendron, thick brambles and holly. Some mature trees. Wide rides but parking for 32 tries to squeeze in a few more.

Great woods but unfortunately dog poop everywhere, either fresh in middle of path or plastic bagged up and left on a tree stump. After 20 minutes of walking I decided to leave as I was only watching where I stepped. People please, not only is this disgusting it is terrible for the soil and health of the trees.

Good for a walk or run. Plenty of routes that get you into the woods. Some of the dog walkers don't clean up after their dogs though especially near the Marley Lane car park entrance.

In the winter bring your wellies. Great for dog walking. Goes on for ever. No water or views but good trials. Parking spaces almost always available.

Very good circular hiking (8,5 km). With time to collect some rubbish. But the question is: what is better? - to leave the dog poo on the floor or inside the plastic bag also on the floor.
