Never been before Great views out to sea, good coffee shop upstairs. Pavilion free to enter and to see any exhibitions. I lay in a hammock in one exhibition watching and listening to the sounds of jimi hendrix where the walls and ceiling project images of the man. Just a shame you can't view the auditorium unless you are ticketed to see a performance of some sort

We visited the Sussex Guild craft fair here yesterday on a lovely sunny day. There was also an art exhibition on. We went to the cafe upstairs for a cuppa and a piece of cake, which was tasty. Lovely view too! Thought the shop also sold some interesting items made locally.

Captivating modernist building. There is a great stage with lots of big names visiting, a beautiful bar and kitchen with great views of the beach and channel and plenty of exhibition rooms. The building’s history is very interesting and there is a great book about it for £5 in the Pavilion’s shop.

What would Bexhill be without the De La Warr! Such a lovely venue, beautiful sea side theatre with some excellent events, acts, etc I live here in Bexhill. It’s such a hidden gem. When the tide is low, the beach is stunning, sandy.

Wonderful place to visit, rain or shine. There’s always something more than expected here. Autumn events are looking good too.

Absolutely love this venue, such a great building and they seem to be attracting bigger artists year on year. Have lost count of the gigs I've been to at the DLWP but I'm never disappointed. The sound and lighting is absolutely fantastic in there.

My review concerns café upstairs only. Fine service and tea & coffee but the acoustics in the seating area are so awful it destroys the whole idea of having a nice cuppa and chat with friends. You need to raise your voice just to understand each other. A conversation with 6 is impossible. They need to put up acoustic panels or similar.

Beautiful artwork building in the heart of Bexhill with amazing seaview. Adequate parking space. Surrounding areas excellent for walking and exercise.
