What a great little restaurant hidden away from the main street. You have to head to the back of the restaurant to really get a feel of the vibe. The men working the restaurant were friendly, welcoming, and checked on us multiple times to make sure everything tasted good. The restaurant really feels authentic and the music and setting were great. We ordered the cheesy garlic bread which was AMAZING and 2 pizzas. The Meat Feast and a build your own. All food was perfect and delicious. The pizzas are pretty big so we took some leftovers home in a box. They had a drink menu with alchocol, wine, soda/coke products, and also bottled water. Tap water is free. Additional notes.. restrooms on site. Accepted credit cards .

Small restaurant. One very professional staff member who cooked the best pizza we have ever had. Quick service. Thin crispy but not hard base. Excellent topping with flavour from the wood fired oven. Simple small seating area with Italian old photos etc, and background Italian music. A delightful experience and at $29.00 for a pizza and two drinks, fantastic value for money.

This was definitely the number one spot as a tourist. The pizza was very well crafted and the gelato felt like a taste from home. The owner was great and very welcoming too. Would recommend!

Delicious thin and crispy pizza made fresh in front of you. The owner is sweet, attentive and down to earth. Loved that they had more than one vegan option with ability to make any veg pizza vegan. Would definitely order again

Great little pizza place in the heart of Rotorua town. This is now my go to pizza place and it hasn't failed me yet. The restaurant has an adorable Italian vibe when eating in. Love it

Heard the pizza was good so I tried it out. Definitely didn’t disappoint. Pizza was amazing. Hot and fresh. Great service, and had a great chat with guy serving me and the owner of the dairy a couple doors down. All round great place to visit. Cheers brothers

A wonderful experience at Capizzi as it came recommended from some fellow guests at a holiday park. Wonderful customer service & the atmosphere reflected everyone feeling seen and well catered for. We shared a gluten free pizza and it was really nice! Thoroughly recommend.

We had one of the best pizzas and garlic bread at this small Italian restaurant in rotorua. The menu had plenty of options for vegetarians and even vegans. Kids loved the well done pizzas, garlic breads and even the brownie. We loved it so much that we came back for a second time today. The decor and the music everything feels authentic Italian.

We ordered pizzas and caesar salad and had it delivered to work (local law firm) and it was OUTSTANDING!!!! Everything was delicious, with the perfect amount of toppings etc... Super highly recommend this place to either eat in, or takeaway, or have delivered. Amazing every time!!!! The vegan pizza with grilled eggplant is my personal favourite.

Maybe we were unlucky with our pizza but the only good thing about the pizza was the oven. Tomato sauce must have been watties canned tomatoes and what was supposed to be mozzarella di buffalla was definitely not mozzarella. For the quality of ingredients it's really not worth 28 dollars. Really not that different to domino or pizza hut. Very disappointed

Great little place tucked away. They were short staffed but you wouldn't have known it as rhe pizza came quickly. The toppings were generous and absolutely delicious! Well worth a visit.

I don't buy pizza because I think it's average, but this place made me change my mind as I loved their pizza! It was nice to see a ball of dough being delivered through the dining room to the oven. The atmosphere of the restaurant was interesting and nice. Friendly staff. Highly recommended!

We have sampled wood-fire pizzas around the world and this place definitely ranks right up there. The bases were crispy and light, toppings chopped up just the right sizes and good sauce too. Well priced and tasty. Lovely cosy atmosphere with friendly staff.

So happy we stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant during our stay in Rotorua last year. It easily became the dining highlight of our trip and we promised we'd eat in anytime we found ourselves in, or traveling through, Rotorua. The bruschetta could have us coming back on it's own, but the excellent stone/wood fired pizza just seals the deal. The restaurant has a classic small family owned feel and the dine in service just solidifies that. I'm looking forward to our next visit. I'd love see an expanded restaurant menu in the future, some Italian pasta dishes would be *chefs kiss"
