My husband and I bought our necklaces from Puawai Jade in Eat Streat, Rotorua. Absolutely beautiful! I received lots of compliments. 😅 Excellent quality NZ jade, set in 18k gold. (We bought our gold chains separately). It comes with a small authenticity card. The pendants are still in very good condition even after a couple of years of wearing. The staff here are friendly, informative and accommodating. Highly recommended. 👍

You want original Green Stone or New Zealand Pounamu, this store is authentic , each item you but is got uthentication Code that traces it to the origin of the rock. The owner was generous with his knowledge of pounamu and how to detect if it's NZL Greenstein which has a,hardest not far from diamond ! Some greenstone got green specks in the light , dead give away ..not Kiwi Pounamu from the gold mines and Greymouth River , most are origin Canadian Greenstone or elsewhere !

Amazing staff who really cared to be part of the special occasion behind the purchase of a very special ponamu taonga. The ponamu available are all beautiful works of art and perfect as meaningful gifts for loved ones . The ponamu is carved on site which for me added important local content. They are open late most nights and can be found at the end of Eat Street. Check them out.
