I have just been through this store all the staff were extremely helpful. I would like to say and extra thank you to the plumbing team who explained everything twice and on my return home found the attachment they were talking about and was able to complete adding the water filter to the kitchen tap. Only negative was I tried to call through to thank them and the customer service phone was not answered.

Lovly friendly staff Halena in the paint dept so helpful and knowledgeable helped us sort colours for our house, what a credit she is to yr store we will be back

Went in to buy a heap of ply etc for building project on a very old house and got served by an absolutely awesome guy. He was so helpful, went out of his way to be informative, provided great advice, and was genuinely honest. The team could not have been more helpful and the product was lots less expensive for better quality than I had only an hour before priced up at Bunnings Rotorua.. Bunnings rude, useless service and was a rip off for product. Mitre 10 Rotorua- max stars for customer service and product value.

Bought a mower here over a year ago now. It was their budget brand and the cheapest at the time. I have quarter acre to mow so I wasn’t expecting much tbh but hey! It’s still going strong, so I am stoked as at this purchase! There was an older guy who helped me when I came in to buy it. He was very helpful and polite, even when I was contemplating all the other options. And he helped me get my mower into my car. Old school gentleman! Really appreciated that kind of (rare) service! Thank you. Recently grabbed some lawn seed here. Best value in town I hear, so I’m looking forward to the results. This place is more than a hardware store eh. It’s easy to lose time (in a nice way), looking at all the lovely trinkets you’re unlikely to see elsewhere. There is ample parking here and some nice food outlets next door after a long shopping expedition here! Great staff. Great products. Great experience.

I should give it 5 stars this time the service was good and the staff was helpful . The next time i come in a few months time I am sure I will give them 5 stars but this time for personal reasons I will give it 1 star all I will say it was something very minor and it was a little bit annoying PLUS THIS .Now over another matter in my last review Months ago the restraunt staff thought we were talking about them my friend did say something minor About one of them while the woman was cleaning but it was very unimportant . And we were told off about it We decided not to go back to the reastraunt . Us customers are a grumpy lot so please be nice to us

Wonderful friendly and helpful service from staff and Mitre 10 Rotorua have attractive displays of their stock making it an attractive place to shop. Their gardening section was well stocked with a wide variety of plants and seedings. I came away, very happy with a number of bargain seedling specials I had not intended to buy!

Excellent helpful friendly staff...satisfied all our requests with sound advice and sensible suggestions....very impressed with all the shopping we did in that store and others in Rotorua.

Drove from Whakatane to visit this store today. It was 23 degrees and it was too hot to leave my dog in the car so I carried my 3kg, friendly dog instore. Immediately was told by the security guard to leave the store as dogs are not permitted in Rotorua CBD. Prior to visiting this store we had gone into stores within close proximity like pet stock, bed bath & beyond, number one shoes, etc with no problem at all. I called the council who stated that it’s regarding dog exercising and carrying the dog and having them in the car is fine in Rotorua CBD, especially if they are not a threat to the public. Never in my life have I received such poor customer service, where the staff are unaware of council rules, and no clear signs displaying that no dogs are allowed. Please educate your staff to prevent losing loyal customers to bunnings and embarrassing your customers instore.

Jordan and Kaea were fantastic in the gardening department today. Went above and beyond, not only showed us where the VFT were but they also said they had some pitcher plants! Which was fantastic because I didn’t know anyone even sold these. They got a hard to reach pitcher plant down for us and were really helpful. Definitely be going back!

Had huge assortment of lightbulbs at reasonable prices. Staff came along asking if we required any help, very rare that happens in big retail stores now days. Other staff we walked past saying hello and smiling

I needed plumbing tools and hardware. The attendant new exactly what i needed. Purchased all i needed for $250 then installed/replaced the leaking pipes under the house, job done in 2 hours. Much better advice and service from a person who new what they were advising me about. More experieced than Bunnings (sorry but it's true)

I'm a mitre 10 girl. Fantastic staff. Always helpful especially Richard in the garden section.

No sooner did I walk in was approached by a security guard with an enthusiastic service towards me. He helped me find what I needed plus more. Utmost pleasure. Shop also enjoyable to walk around in. Huge choice of products and a coffee to go for. Worth a visit.
