Bogarts - Erlangen

Though never try this cafe, there is an ideal place for organizing some parties outside the shop The picture and short video showed ‘Karneval & Fasching in Erlangen’ supposedly, very festival atmosphere

Outdoor seating is good but the indoor is quite old and dirty. Good to spend a nice evening sipping a beer outside when the weather allows it!

Its a local café during daytime and a dive-style bar and live-music bar at night that also serves local dishes. The portions are huge and tasteful - I quiet like it.

This bar was very busy on Friday and on Saturday and it was difficult to move within the hall. Cards are accepted which is nice. I haven't liked the music that was playing here on both days.

Had a delicious chicken and noodle dish and a couple great beers. Nice location, friendly service. Loved it.

Hat sehr nach gelassen, frühere ist man gerne zum bogarts, heute muss man es sich überlegen. Bedingungen nicht auf zack, man wartet zu lang auf nach schub oder erst bestellung. Toiletten der hammer das geht gar nicht. Warum das Gesundheitsamt nicht kontrolliert? Das wäre mal eine Aufgabe fürs Amt....

Eine schönen Nachmittag verbracht

It was my first time here, we have some misunderstanding but it ended up in a very good way. After ordering 2 weißen bier one of the waitresses asked us to leave immediately. Since it was my first time there it felt so awkward and I was shocked, I requested to see the manager. Nevertheless, the manager came in 2 minutes and he was so friendly. It appeared that the person whom invited me caused some problems and he is no more welcomed. The manager explained the awkward situation for me in a very friendly way, implying that I can stay as long as I want but my friend is not welcomed. However, the bier was really good, the prices were normal and the service was decent. I really recommend the place if you visit Erlangen.

Nice bar, friendly staff and great food

Wow. This place stinks... no really, it smelled bad, maybe because it was over capacity by like 200%. Also, I was finished drinking alcohol so I ordered a water from the tap. The bartender who could not speak English wanted €3.50 for a plastic cup with water in it. Common! ha ha ha. If the water tastes as bad as this place smells, you should pay me to drink it. Thanks but no thanks. Let's try one of the 500 other bars in Erlangen. 🤷

Bogarts has been my go to bar since I have arrived to Erlangen. I like the vibe of the place, the music they play is good, it is a different atmosphere in the bar during match days (especially world cup time this year - absolutely loved it). The price is quite reasonable and the food is also good :)
