I used to go here as a kid but the staff is so rude now,,, I asked cashier if she could put in store card and she asked for my license number which I gave her,,at which point she argued that I didn't have a price chopper card although signed up at 20 years old but have since lost it,,,she said to resign up and I told her I would,,she looked at me and Said no you wont'',,, i assured her I will,, just not today,,,,a lady was then getting her items scanned and cashier said to her,,,this guy will never get another card,,, by the way the cashier was named Karen and it is totally fitting for her behavoir,,,,thanks you lost 300 a week from me as I don't tolerate rude karen behavoir at 50 years old nor should someone else,,mocking me to other customers is not gonna happen without making others aware to what is going on here

Prices are higher, less common food stock. Glad the pizza is being made fresh and hot again. Whole store remodeled into a Market 32 to sell high end food. Corporate greed at its finest. This is Rotterdam, not Clifton Park. Nice going, Price Chopper.

I work at Price Chopper for 13 years. When I work there, I now do notice on its muzak system, it plays the 1970s music especially, the '70s songs that I do remember hearing when I was a child and teenager (e.g., when I grew up) around my time. The food court is now reopen, but it is still off-limits to associates, but for customers only with every other booth open to promote social distancing. Price Chopper on Altamont Avenue now has a section that they remodeled located next to the food court where you can buy food and eat it there or you can take it home which opened on July 13, 2020 which is called foodfare where they have a selection of Pizza, Chicken, soups, subs, sandwiches, salads, already-made dinners, and sushi like what these photos show.

I’m not sure if this post will make a difference but it’s a start and worth a try. Please hire workers especially cashiers that will be fair and treat everyone with the same respect and dignity. I find it odd that certain cashiers will only make it out their way to greet customers who they feel is worthy of greeting. My cashier today was so rude to me..keep in mind he wasn’t that way to the lady in front of me. Also the bagger that was helping him was just as worse. I work hard for my money and when I shop I want to know I will be treated the same way as all the other customers. Not a great feeling, do better!

A good place for a lot of stuff! Has a café area with premade food and drinks. Wide variety of groceries to choose from as well. Staff is very friendly and hardworking! Overall a little overpriced, but a good store!

I had a great experience watching your cashier Maria be so kind and helpful to a woman on a wheelchair. She was so impressive. Even kind to me. She deserves alot of recognition and also a raise. God Bless Maria

While the Golub corporation is no longer that small local business that was a gem of our area alone it has managed to retain the roots to the community in which it serves and has been based out of for so long. There are competitors of course, and others have come and gone. At the end of the day Price Chopper/Market 32 remain one of the best market chains I have ever had the pleasure to do business with. This particular location has moved locations in the time since I have started going there as an adult patron, and the inside of the store has been updated and remodeled as has the outside of the storee where it currently sits in the plaza on Altamont Ave. Their meat and produce are always fresh, the managers and employees of the fish department are friendly and accomodating, the bagels and baked goods they sell are fresh and never stale or old. I am also a fan of the flower section of the market, to be honest it is as good as most shops that focus just on flowers. I have never been unhappy with a purchase from their floral selection. In terms of variety of items, they carry a large selection and always seem to find shelf space for those new products you always see advertised on TV without the store looking or feeling cramped. The store is well lit, well maintained, and clearly it hass managers and employees who take pride in the store and in a job well done. Now I am older so I have seen a number of people come and go, friends from high school who used to work there, regulars who started as cashiers and worked their way up. Which is both sad and exciting at the same time. I am happy to see that Market 32/Price chopper promotes from within and gives opportunities for growth within their organization. It is nice to see local companies looking out for the people who live in the community. Lastly the pharmacy which I only just started using is amazing. They are friendly, and thorough. The y are accommodating and manage to get your scripts ready despite having high volume at times. I would recommend anyone switch there from CVS or any of the other underperforming "chains". You will not find a better pharmacy team than the team at Market 32 on Altamont ave. Oh, almost forgot... the parking lot is well maintained. It is clean, usually free of carts, and it is most importantly VERY well lit so no one needs worry about their safety if they are shopping late at night. I am a lifelong customer and I am proud to say they are from our area.

Good, but who would want to have to pass all those pastries to get to the cash registers (especially with a fat girlfriend and kids too)

I grew up in Rotterdam New York, fresh choppers always been in our backyard. We love their bagels, they are soft and tasty. My wife and I visited this morning everything was nicely stocked, produce was fresh.

Nothing but good things to say from staff. To shopping experience, selection.. I really haven't had issues.

This store used to be so nice. In the last several years it has plummeted to an all time low. The store is unfriendly, the food outdated, the produce looks as if it walked there. When you bring these issues up to a manager they say they will take care of it yet you go back and the same items are on the shelves. Staff are arrogant and condescending. Sadly this is the new normal.

This is my local price chopper have been shopping at this pc for my entire life. The things that are happening in this store are bad. In the past two months, the things associates are saying and doing are ridiculous. I shop here, pay more for my groceries so I don’t have to deal with Walmart. If the associates continue to be swearing and talking trashy. This will not be my destination any longer. The produce manager on the floor talking to other associates using the f-word every other word out of his mouth. Maybe customer service classes should be offered. I have been to almost every price chopper in the capital district area, visited western ave this morning and the people that work at that store were amazing there was such great customer service. They clean the bathroom and every item was stocked full.

Was only here at this one to pick up medication that the Rotterdam store didn't have as for that if you're shopping at the Rotterdam store they carry half the product that the rest of them have check your labels to make sure the stuff is not at a date because this is where they dump all the other date stuff that they can't sell anywhere else

I used to exclusively shop at price chopper but I cannot stand shopping there now. The prices are outrageous and the employees typically aren't helpful. The self check out takes forever now and, the last time I went there, it took 30 minutes to figure out why my card wasn't working in the machine. I only go there if I can't find something elsewhere. It's too much of a hassle!

I really like the renovation to this Market 32. Friendly clerks and helpful, especially when I can't find an item! They always ask if I need help with taking groceries to my car, and are so nice about doing it.

Asked for something written at the bakery and it was early morning with no customers. The bakery lady handed this to me and said "I don't do writing so this is what you get" this was after I handed the cookie cake to the actual baker and he said no problem I'll write it. Also, the self checkout lady literally was pawing through my bags questioning my ability to type in the correct codes for my produce. When she said "oh no its stealing when you type in the incorrect code" when she went to her podium and verified the apple code I was actually correct and she just put them back on the scale with no apology or anything. I normally don't complain but the customer service was lacking today especially with the cake, I guess we will just laugh it off.

Great product great selection prices are definitely hiked. Even when there's an advantage cell you're basically paying what you should pay for the item. However they do have wonderful cold cuts and great meat selection as well as fish.
