Horrible horrible horrible place. Front desk woman is rude and does not enjoy her job nor does she want to do her job. She will immediately let you know of how "long" you will have to wait instead of a greeting, "How are you doing ? May I help you ?" . They just want to send you right back out the door you came in. I do not recommend this place at all even if its the closest thing to you. Emergencies please go to the ER.

I've worked in the medical field for 6 years. So I know how this is behind closed doors in every medical facility. The patient registrar are very calm and nice, seemingly helpful. I was referred to this place because it was urgent and needed to be seen right away. The doctor was not very friendly, it looks more so like he did not wanted to be there. He walks in and out of my room with an attitude. He did not want to listen to what I have to say and only wanted to hear what he wants to hear so he can discharge me right away. I was very angry and was talked to like an 8 year old. He was rude! Never again do I want to be treated by him. Worst patient care ever!

3 old women who work at the front desk in immediate care. Incrediblely rude. They treated me like I was stupid and stared at me like I was a criminal. My 5 year old needed help. No help at all whatsoever unless your wallet is packed.

Staff is so rude and mean. My daughter had severe burns and waited for the staff because they wanted to do other things then when we got back to the room they started talking bad about my daughter and I. The front desk lady was named Laura and was completely disrespectful and just full out rude.

My 18 month old child was bitten badly by our dog this morning and the staff here was AMAZING. I was a HOT MESS and they were the biggest help, they went above and beyond what I have ever experienced in any urgent care setting. The nurses and doctor were so kind, professional, and empathetic. Albeit one of the scariest things I've ever experienced, I think I'll be able to look back on this memory with a little bit of fondness. While my baby was being sutured, the doctor gently encouraged me and the two nurses comforting my child to sing his favorite songs to him...and we did, over and over again and it became evident that it really helped. I got the care I needed right away after forgetting my wallet at home because I was in such a rush after the paramedics left, from the front desk to the nurses to the doctor, this was one of most efficient, fastest and kindest staff I've ever met. I am so beyond thankful.

While the actual medical attention I needed was great (I had a small cut that needed 4 stitches), the billing was abysmal. Not only do I pay for the physician's time and the services provided but I also received a bill for the "hospital fee" which, as my insurance company told me, is basically a fee for walking in the door. I will have paid almost double what was charged to me (after insurance) for the services provided for the "hospital fee". I was also charged $100 for a recommended follow up where I waited for an hour to be seen by a doctor and when he saw me he examined me for about a minute and then watched football for 5 more minutes. Had I realized it was going to be this much I would have gone somewhere else. ANYWHERE else. I will NEVER go here again if I can avoid it.

Worst experience ever. I now remember why i dont go to condell or their affiliates. I went in after throwing for 5hrs. As soon as i got in i needed a bathroom because i was gonna be sick. The person with me gave them my insurance and drivers license. Told him she had to so she wouldnt loose her job. They took me to the exam room and the nurse stood there waiting for them to enter my information so she could start taking my vitals. After a few minutes she was starting to take them and another lady came in and said they cant do anything thing else until they get my initals and signature. I was completely out of it and asked her can i sign when im done and she said no if i didnt sign now they couldnt treat me. This was the worst experience i have ever had. I left there and went to lake forest in grayslake. I would highly recommend LAKE FOREST HOSPITAL to anyone.

Went in for a horrible sore throat (felt like I was swallowing glass), and extremely red and inflamed tonsils with white spots. The doctor BARELY looked at me, took a step back, and then went through a very rehearsed explanation and list of instructions for my ...........sinus infection? I didn't even have any tenderness in my sinuses nor any post nasal drip! Wouldn't you think I would be checked for strep?! Sinus infections must have been the illness of the week and it must have been very routine to just make a quick diagnosis so they could move onto the next patient. I have great insurance (bcbs ppo) but I've gotten two bills so far for close to $300. What a joke! This place overcharges way too much for literally nothing. Never going back there or any advocate center for that matter. (The nurse was pleasant.)

Great service on Thursday when I cut my finger. There were two ladies at the front desk because it was busy. They were nice. But today, saturday, I went for a follow up and received terrible service. They didn't seem that busy and the lady at the front desk was slow and snappy or curt. Not very friendly.

I am having a very bad cold with headache. Due to location and time (open at 8:00 AM) I stopped by, but the nurse had a car problem. After waiting for 30 minutes I left without being seen by the Dr. So if the nurse is not coming to work the people can die today because without her the Dr. will not see anyone!!!!!!!!!

Bad experience in this immediate Care. Front desk needs to be more professional and not ask patients "do you want to see the doctor" as soon as they walk in... not feel like anyone cared at all. I was negative for strep throat and all the Dr. said was take care of yourself... Yeah.. my room was next to their desk and I could hear them just complain about patients. Not professional. Please give your money somewhere else.

Called to verify my insurance and to make sure they are testing for covid. Was assured they would. loaded the family up and went down. Only to get turned away at the door telling us they only do it if you have symptoms! Lied to me and wasted my time. It’s B.S. they they won’t test you unless your sick!!!

Went there for an eye injury. No insurance. Polite staff but the bill is 5x the rice plus of the referred referred physician who solved the problem.

Sent my wife for who isn’t feeling well & we have confirmed flu in the house. Doctors & nurses showed zero compassion & refused to prescribe prophylactic Tamiflu as she tested negative. She was also told she could have flu but tested too early…so come back & pay again. With Northshore health down the street we have other options; we will never go back again.

I would have initially given this place a great review being that I only had to wait in the waiting room for 15 minutes on a weekend verses going to the ER in Vernon Hills and waiting 5 hours to even get checked in. My big Peeve is that I had really good health insurance, a PPO and I just got the $1,500 bill in the mail. This is not the first time that Condell has given me big bills. Last year I spent the entire evening from about 6 p.m. until 3 in the morning at the Vernon Hills ER in so much pain I had tears streaming down my cheeks. Unfortunately it was during a February at the height of flu season and everybody was seen first but me. I need to take on three additional jobs just to pay for getting the flu this year, next time I think I'll just go to Lake Forest Hospital on 120. I met my deductible at least three times over with Blue Cross Blue Shield. This is ridiculous and Health Care needs a huge change. I work in a medical office and I know the issues that health insurance companies have with paying claims and honoring their commitments; however giving me a heart attack when I'm opening up my opening up my mail is not the answer. I decided to get extra good health insurance this year (January) since I have to travel to Chicago for work full time on outdated public transportation and so far I have not paid a dime in out-of-pocket costs until I got to Condell. I don't make that much money and most of my earnings go to paying for transportation, getting to and from my job. I'm most likely going to have to declare bankruptcy at this point just for getting the flu, but that I guess that's the American way. On a side note... Never ever go with land of Lincoln insurance. I bought them last year on a whim, I was subjected to false advertising. No doctor in America will accept them for a very good reason.

Staff was very nice, so was the doctor BUT the doctor said I had a Dental abscess and that I was to see the dentist. Went to the dentist and I have a sinus infection. Now my allocation for dental from insurance is less because the doctor misdiagnosed. Dentist was pretty surprised that the doctor couldn't tell the difference! Me too. EDIT: I told the doc that I have had C Dif and that I can't take certain antibiotics....He gave me Clindamycin...very strong and 'warning' says it can take away good bacteria..YUP I now have C Dif!!

Don't go to this site, unless you want to be robbed. I had a little cough, and went to this site on June, then I received $400 bill from advocate hospital and $609 from the Oana Nisipeanu, MD .advocate claims I visited their facility and that $609 is directly from the doctor for diagnose. Stay away from this site.

First time here today. Great experience! Dr. Kostinsky is an 'older style' doc that will do her job without much ego and scripted nonsense. My husband saw her some months ago and had the same impression. Customer service is not the most important thing when you have a problem, being able to hear the patient and being capable is. (I wish Advocate shared the same overall values; too late for that:) Nurses and med assistants were super friendly and efficient too. Thanks!

Long wait for no reason. No one was there, I had to leave unserviced. In my opinion, take those extra 5 minutes to go to the location near Jewel Osco on Rollins, I promise you it is worth it.

They sent us 2 separate bills. One for actual urgent care is covered by our insurance after a copay, as expected. Great. But months later we received another bill from the doctor. What a scam. Will be going elsewhere next time.

I really had no issue until today, I have an Autoimmune disorder, and nerve damage to the right side of my face and was having pain, my Dr. Was not avalible so I went into the urgent care and Was seen by Dr. Carnazzola, who called me a drug pusher in front of my four year old and treated me horribly, and told me I was lying about my health issues, even though there is documented proof of diagnosis, she actually had me in tears and thought nothing of it. I went to school to be a P.A. and have not been able to work because of my health issue, and the first time I really needed help I was treated like this...we will not be returning

Doctors were good staff were not helpful. When I needed to a question answered after my visit and asked if there was a way to contact him I was told to wait until tomorrow when the doctor was in. Guess I'll go to work tomorrow with a slight concussion.

They turned me away stating I required a referral due to having Advocate HMO insurance, spoke with a referral coordinator after the fact and learned that for urgent care, you do not require a referral. Had to go to the ER. Thanks Urgent Care.

Front desk staff was overall nice but I don't feel they are very thorough here. Went in today and the room they put me in was out of basic supplies. Doctor was nice but said they were busy the night before, but I am not sure what that has to do with the room not being fully stocked with basics like tongue depressers. Shouldn't that be done BEFORE you start seeing patients the next morning? It makes me wonder if room was even cleaned properly if supplies werent refilled. Nurse had an attitude when I asked a basic question about the medication I was prescribed and what to do if it doesnt treat my illness. The day literally just started. I know our nurses and drs are tired...but I am sick and just trying to understand my situation. I would recommend Northshore IC over this place any day. Still not sure they even really listened to my symptoms and are treating it properly. Will follow up with my PCP. I will not ever be returning here.

Poor service. Was left in the room for 36 minutes after being seen by the doctor. Just for paperwork and prescriptions. They totally forgot about us. Never would I go there again. Then I was told it was faxed to the pharmacy., then they had to double check and of course it wasn't . Very incompetent doctor and staff.

I was seen right away and everyone there could not have been nicer. Very kindly older doctor who I wish could be my primary care doc. Was in from out of town so that’s why I came here. Didn’t know what to expect but I was very pleased.

Brought my toddler and 6 month old here tonight because they’re both sick and their doctor couldn’t get us in. The front desk ladies were nice and gave my toddler a sticker before we even got signed in. The 2 nurses we had were super nice and patient with my toddler and the doctor was also so nice and caring. She calmed my son down and made him feel comfortable. It made me so happy that she was patient and so kid friendly. Everyone treated our baby so well too. I really liked this place and I’m glad we only live 4 minutes away. Would def go back.

If I could give it a zero star, I would. This place is really gone downhill. It was dirty. Even the doctor told me give me five minutes and I’ll get you out of this filthy place. No help at all.

Beware! I got charged for urgent care and outpatient hospital. My insurance covers urgent care but not outpatient hospital so I payed my copay for urgent care and now I'm also paying for the doctor who billed separately as outpatient hospital. Advocate said they have nothing to do with how the doctors bill. After calling lake county acute care about the separate bill they said it's because I wasn't admitted?... This is very different from any other urgent care I've been at and seems crooked AF. Urgent care is where you go when you don't need the hospital and can't see you're regular doctor. Look elsewhere. People were rude too.

Avoid, they will not properly assess. Went for an eye injury and did not even get an eye exam done. Was given a tetanus shot and a weak antibiotic. Was referred to a eye doctor who was 30+ days out. Ended up going up going to the ER and was given an actual exam where they found a large cut in my pupil. Ended up on a much stronger antiobiotic and had my pain managed appropriately.

I took my son in after his finger was shut in a door, he was in severe pain and everyone was great. They treated him quickly and effectively and were able to relieve his pain. The nurse and doctor were confident and competent - my two favorite qualities in a health care professional

Let me say that we haven't gone there yet, but I called ahead to find out what the fees were. Had a sprained ankle that could wait for a normal doctor's visit, but I wanted to see how much it would cost just to get peace of mind whether or not it was broken or whether it was soft tissue damage. They quoted me $400-500 to be seen, and around $350 for an X-Ray. I don't think that the fees are exhorbitant, but I am very grateful that they made the fees clear.

Is it weird to say that I enjoyed myself at the doctor's office? Because I actually did. My experience was a positive one from the moment I walked into the door. Sandy at the front desk was extremely nice and even though she was very busy with patients signing in she gave each one her undivided attention. When she brought me back to the room Nancy and Ann (I am really good with names), did nothing but bring my impression even high. They were nice, knowledgeable, and they both made me feel like they really wanted to help me. And also, Anne had to take a blood sample and the next day I had no bruising at all! That is a miracle on its own. My doctor was Natalie Kostinsky and I have only nice things to say about her as well. She was considerate, nice, funny, and I could tell she actually cared. Sometimes you go to a doctor's off and you feel like just another patient. Not here. I was cared for and if I get sick again (God forbid!) I will definitely be going to this location. Thanks again ladies!! =)

Went here in Aug of 2013 with torn ligaments in my ankle from a bad fall. My experience was great from check in to exam, diagnoses and check out. They even gave me a follow up call a few days later. Would highly recommend this location if you want people who really care!

SUPERIOR CARE !!! My daughter was treated like a beloved family member. From the second we walked in until the second we walked out we were shown care, concern, empathy, professionalism, advanced medical expertise, and genuine warmth. So lucky to have been cared for by Mary Jo, Sarah, Jani, and Dr.David Thomas.
