This
location
is
run
down.
New
edit:
12/20:
nothing
has
changed
Post
Covid.
The
place
is
still
run
down
and
empty.
Just
this
week,
Dec
10,
2020,
I
went
into
the
free
weight
area
and
4
of
6
benches
were
without
bars!
Decline,
both
incline
and
1
of
the
3
flat
benches
were
unusable
because
there
are
not
enough
Olympic
bars.
Unbelievable,
but
expected
in
this
location.
They
just
don't
care.
And
I
see
the
"sales"
guy
walking
a
couple
around
like
"
just
ignore
the
broken
and
missing
equipment,
it
is
a
great
gym
to
join.
EDIT:
about
6
months
ago,
I
complained
to
"Ed"
the
regional
director
for
this
area
about
the
lack
of
straight
Olympic
bars
in
the
free
weight
area.
To
his
credit,
he
ordered
three
on
the
spot,
unfortunately,
they
needed
about
7
or
8.
Now,
in
the
free
weight
area
people
will
wait
for
or
move
the
"straight"
Olympic
bars
rather
than
use
the
bent
ones
that
are
still
there.
The
management
at
this
location
sees
this
happening,
sees
the
benches
without
Olympic
bars
on
them
and
just
doesn't
care.
My
original
review
was
three
years
ago.
Nothing
has
changed,
LA
Fitness
is
run
at
the
minimum
standards
and
that's
OK
with
the
people
managing
it.
The
free-weights
are
always
all
over
the
gym,
like
in
the
studios,
around
the
machines
etc.
There
are
always
machines
or
equipment
with
"scheduled
for
maintenance"
stickers
on
them
but
they
are
there
for
many
days
or
more.
The
cable
machine
back
with
the
free-weights
has
different
slides
on
it
that
don't
allow
it
to
line
up
and
most
if
not
all
of
the
Olympic
bars
are
bent.
There
is
a
feeling
of
disrepair
to
the
place
that
seems
like
the
workers
and
management
just
don't
care.
Recently,
they
made
part
of
they
gym
much
nicer
than
the
rest
but
blocked
it
off
for
"personal
trainers"
only.
Now,
they
hang
signs
in
the
locker
room
to
say
watch
out
for
your
stuff
because
things
are
being
stolen.
Really,
considering
the
care
that
goes
into
this
place
by
the
staff,
it
is
no
wonder
that
patrons
are
just
as
inconsiderate
although
that
is
probably
more
to
blame
on
the
location.
I've
had
3
situations
in
the
locker
room
where
"attitude"
was
a
little
over
the
edge.
It
is
obvious
that
Round
Lake
Beach
is
not
the
best
part
of
town.
Perhaps
it
was
at
some
time
but
it
has
been
degraded
to
become
almost
a
3rd
world
country
and
LA
Fitness
reflects
the
neighborhood.
Waukegan
is
much
nicer,
both
in
location,
care
for
the
facility,
friendly
staff
and
people
who
workout
there.
