Sooooo goood. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! We visited this restaurant to try oysters. And we weren't disappointed! Extremely fresh, great size (if you know you know). I think it’s one of the bed place with oysters in Austin! Cute and nice salon! Huge bar area. Also they have some sits outside! Love it. Or server was super nice and helpful. Thank you for that! Will be back to raid the rest of the menu!

This is a very chill non fancy place. Oysters were great, they seemed fresh. Server was overwhelmed but still did a great job. Oysters came out extremely fast. We will definitely be back.

Pacific Star is one of our favorite go-to restaurants for seafood in Round Rock. Always get full and consistently yummy! The gumbo is AMAZING. Not too spicy, lots of flavor, and not skimpy on the shrimp! The catfish is seasoned well and fried to perfection. I get the filet and my Mother-In-Law gets the whole catfish. She's particular about her catfish and loved it. My husband has had Alaskan Salmon and Rainbow Trout before as well, and raves about both! Highly recommend this place. It may be little but its fiercely amazing!

Man, ohhh, Man! Pacific Star was On-Point today! The Gulf Oysters were the best I’ve had in years!!! And the shrimp and oyster platter was so delish! Looking forward to going back later in the week for crawfish… they didn’t have any today!

We visited Pacific Star on a Friday night. We got a seat immediately. The staff were very friendly. The food was good! We had a fun experience with quick service. They have a special seafood soup that was not on the menu. We bought one to go. When we ate it the next day, it was absolutely delicious. This place is a hidden gem. I recommend it!

I absolutely love supporting local businesses, but this by far was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever been through. For one, there is dust covering everything, from wall decor to the corners/baseboards on the floor. Two, the server brought us tall beers in ice water. Full on, poured up beers in ice water inside a kitchen prep plastic container. They were supposed to be $2.75 but were $6 each. Third, my oysters were served on a SERVER DRINK CARRYING TRAY. I didn't even want to order entrees because I was terrified about what the kitchen looked like behind the scenes. Fourth and final, the AC was out and was almost 90° in the establishment. I know a health inspector would be appalled, and I hope this place cleans up their act. Be careful if you go here, I am not a happy camper whatsoever and honestly want a refund.

It's with a heavy heart that I write this review, given my longstanding admiration for this restaurant. It was my go-to place for the finest gumbo in town until a recent change in kitchen staff led to a disappointing turn of events. My last visit was last year, when I decided to introduce my mother to my favorite dining spot. Unfortunately, the gumbo, which I've had numerous delightful experiences with, was marred by the inclusion of spoiled food, a strong odor of rancid fish being a clear indication. Regrettably, this issue is tied to the new female chef. As a frequent customer, I was surprised that someone leading the kitchen could overlook such a blatant quality issue. Discussions with the staff only confirmed my concerns about her culinary approach and the impact on the restaurant's offerings. Despite the staff's outstanding service, the persisting issue with the food under this chef has made me rethink my visits. I find myself unable to patronize the establishment until the situation is addressed and rectified. My intention is not to tarnish the restaurant's reputation, but to express concern over a serious issue. The shortcuts taken by the new chef not only compromise the quality and safety of the dishes, but they could potentially lead to severe legal implications, including the risk of a shutdown or loss of license. I wholeheartedly urge the management to reconsider the current cooking staff arrangements and restore the quality that once made this place great. It's crucial for customer satisfaction and to prevent potential health hazards. I look forward to returning once these concerns are addressed.

This place surpassed my expectations, aside from a small hiccup with a server who clearly was having a bad day! However this was remedied by Celeste who went above and beyond with her exceptional customer service. We ordered actually a feast lol we are all foodies❤️ The Michelada was yummy and paired well with our crawfish, crab cake, shrimp cocktail and etc not to mention the trout special and all the entrees were delicious. Definitely will be visiting again!
