Best Coney Island restaurant in Michigan! The staff is super nice, place is clean and super cool. The coney dogs are amazing and their loaded fries are a must. You can even get frozen chili packs as I did and brought it back to California. Make sure to get their amazing Sander’s hot fudge puff ice cream for dessert. You can thank me later.

This place feels vintage and old school nostalgic. The hot dog was pretty good, in which the casing is made and prepared in-house. Friendly waitresses too! The reason for the 3-star is because the other food we ordered were below average at best and I have no emotional connection to this place. Definitely a place that would bring back great memories for many who grew up eating here.

I have been coming to this location since the nineties. Every visit is rock solid. I came in here on Thanksgiving Day, and they were open until two. So I saddled up to the counter and ordered up Chicken and Chips and lemon Rice Soup with Tea. I don't recall the lady working the counter but she was awesome. Great customer service. Ingot my food its was good. I don't think that I have ever had a bad experience here.

Seriously the only place you can get a decent breakfast under $8.00. They're really doing well holding prices down during a time when everything is hit with inflation! You can find something you'll like at a great price!

Good old classic food became a little pricey. A feel that they're more focused on carryout now was hard to even get a refill. Came up to 30 bucks for me and my son to eat

I order 2 chicken salads via Grubhub on 11/29. The bacon burnt so bad we couldn't eat the food.. $35 wasted. Shame on the cook for sending food out like that.

Excellent service, excellent coffee. Good prices, and food was great too. Love coming here for a quick bite to eat, or just to enjoy a good a few cups of their coffee.

As a former Michigander I crave National Coney Island cheese fries anytime I visit. Today I had the original Hani with Cheese Fries. This location in Royal Oak was always a go to spot for me a couple of decades ago and still remains a hot spot to get your Coney fix years later. The old diner feel, great service and the same great taste I grew to love. Stop in and enjoy.

How can you not love this place? You can still see the cigarette stains on the ceiling, but I can't help myself if I am ever in the area. Food is always consistent and friendly staff.

Honestly, not a fan of the chili, but I'm from the Southwest so that's not a surprise. Kim was a great waitress & the place was exactly as described by friends from here. I'd certainly come back, but not for the Coney. They also have a great rewards member program.

Their lemon rice soup is amazing. It took me back to the lemon rice soup that I ordered at this beloved restaurant that was in Kalamazoo called Theo& Stacey's. Also your waitress was sweet and gave great service. I think her name was something close to Rhe

Heard great things about this place so must have been an off day... the chicken lemon soup was bland and soggy, the eggs were undercooked twice, and the mozzarella sticks were kind of cold. The service was great and the atmosphere was fun. Just a disappointing food experience.
