The almost 900-year-old church building with its two bell towers, which can be seen from afar, was given the current nave about 500 years ago after a fire. In 1975 the city of Freiberg acquired the church. After a thorough renovation, the Nikoleikirche has been used as a concert and conference hall since 2002. Just like on the last Sunday morning in September 2018 for a square dance event on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Silver Miners SDC Freiberg e.V. It is a beautiful place in a historic building.

Very beautiful church that is used as a concert and conference hall. Were there for the concert of the Freiberg brass orchestra Saxonia. Very nice sound. Overall, the event was wonderful and we are already looking forward to the Advent concert.

Very, very nice location for the wedding fair. I was one of the exhibitors and found the atmosphere to be perfect for such a trade fair. You are immediately in the 'mood' for the wedding and emotions.
