My idea was to buy two small microscopes (x45 magnification) for a friend, and my small brother as a Christmas gift. They charged me 15 Euros each, which in fact, is sold on a famous website for 3-5 euros (and with x60 magnification). Of course, it is a touristic area and the prices could be higher, however, I am disappointed to pay three times more for even a lower quality product. I did not hesitate there due to the confidence this old man, Dr. Aepler, gave to me. I was in the shop yesterday with my 2 daughters and was very pleased with the experience. Dr. Aepler is both very warm and knowledeable. He spoke with me with his perfect English and even encouraged my 8year old daughter to explore the items even if she would have to open all the drawers. That was really kind! He explained us about jade and blood stone and all the others that my daughters selected from the very wide selection available in his shop.
