Fantastic food, and the waiting staff really cared about it. Was frustrated to have to queue for so long. Ended up downloading the app, ordering through it and sitting down again before the queue moved. On the whole we had a fantastic time. Will go there again as the food was amazing.

Menu choices are good. Ordering was ok very fast on brining out the food. What let them down was the food was only just warm and eggs could have been cooked.

The food was okay, nothing to write home about and would only eat again if I there was no other option, I’m not one to one to write reviews but the customer service i received was just atrocious and wouldn’t want anyone to experience the same low level of service I did. The young girl who saved me was unbearably rude and obnoxious, clearly thought she was something she was not, when my husband was waiting at the bar she just looked and rolled her eyes instead of serving him, she clearly missed the customer service portion of her training, I can’t remember the girls name but she wore glasses and had a tattoo of a dog on her lower arm, I’m not sure if they don’t do proper interviews or they are that desperate for staff that they don’t care about the image their staff are creating or what but my experience was completely ruined by this girl

Had a mega breakfast today. The food was good, but the eggs came with a fair bit of grease. The pub itself is quite nice with a good range on the menu and at the bar, with a limited range of craft beers too. Could do with a bottomless coffee option with the breakfast like many of the other pubs offer, but that's a Green King issue rather than locally. Caters for children in the beer garden and also has an 18+ area for those of us who like to have a meal/drink without little ones running around. Big positive - well done. Overall, the environment is welcoming, but there are signs of age/wear and tear with the decorating, but to be expected, I guess. The walls need a bit of paint reapplying and would look great again. The food was really good. The price is reasonable. The Desert was really large compared to the other places

Had dinner here with fam. I had chicken sizzlers with 2 sides of fries and wraps the chicken also comes with vegetables underneath from the mix it up section. but when I got it, they cheaped out on the veg and for my side I got chips and a salad they did resolve this issue. but someone else who was with me had a burger without salad and with ketchup inside but they gave him salad and no ketchup in the burger. overall it was a okay experience but would rather go harvester

Came here for a family meal on Sunday evening, booked in ok. The table we sat at was well used and needed re varnishing or throwing away as the top coat was completely gone in places and was sticky. The service was quick and the main course was good, however all 4 dessert portions were abysmal and embarrassing, for the price that we paid I mentioned this to the server who was uninterested, we won't be returning. Not good value.

Went down yesterday for my husbands birthday. Been many times and sometimes hit and miss but I have to say I commented yesterday that I thought it might have been the best meal I'd had there (Hunters Chicken). The guy that took our order suggested we order the large version which worked out cheaper which was a good size plate and it was lovely (slightly more than I could manage but not wasted 👍

Had some chicken selection thing and it came with a sweet chilli dip and it was served with a mini gravy boat with the dip in. The gravy boat was filled less than half way so got through it pretty quick. Asked the waitress if she could top it up to which she said of course let me go get some more. She then returned saying it was one pound for a top up! She felt embarrassed to ask and rightly so. I think it is the most shocking piece of customer service I have received. A bottle in aldi cost £1.29. She took the £1 and then returned with a full gravy boat. Smells like a scam to me. Regret paying the pound now. I know it's not much but the fact we spent over 50 pounds there makes me feel like we shouldn't haven't to then pay a hidden extra on top. Sort it out!

Food was unremarkable, made both my husband and I ill later that day. Even though it was breakfast time, they were out of a lot of breakfast drinks, no plant based milks, cranberry or orange juice. Cutlery was unclean, and the table and chairs that we sat at were sticky and unclean. I know this is not fine dining , but a certain level of cleanliness is expected in any food establishment.

I’ve been to this restaurant before and it was amazing but this time was horrendous. I ordered a cheese burger with chips and when the food arrived it looked alright until i cut the burger open and saw it was pink inside and not cooked all the way through, the chips were partially cold so had obviously been left a while. The staff in the restaurant were rude and didn’t have a clue on what they were doing , the cutlery were just left on the counter and you had to collect them yourself and they smelt of a dogs breath so the hygiene on cleaning needs to be sorted.

I've been coming here many years. Staff friendly, helpful, and always on the go. Food is quick out and never had a problem... only I always want more garlic bread!!!

Came in early afternoon today. I was greeted by a lovely lady who I assumed was manager as didn't have uniform on. Once I sat down on a nice clean table with clean menus. I then came to the bar where a young lady with glasses who I couldn't fault took my order I had a mix it up on the daily deal which I asked for her recommendation and she told me the best item to try. She helped me massively because i struggled to read the menu with my bad eye sight :) she's a great asset to the steam turbine team and made my experience here very welcoming will be returning again and maybe have desserts this time as the portion was massive but great value

Today I was served by Jason, although he was very busy he was pleasant, attentive and remained good humoured throughout. He's the nicest barman I've come across in any pub/restaurant in a long time. Well done Steam Turbine All your staff are lovely.

we used to enjoy coming here for food, but today was really disappointing, initially struggled to find a table that was clean even though it wasn't busy, when the food came to the table we had to ask for folks as there was not any in the tubs and the waitress made it look like it was an inconvenience to her. my partners food was cold and the mash potatoe could have plastered a hole in the wall, we got it changed but the mash was still the same and the pie difficult to eat, didnt really feel the staff were that bothered about the food being asked to be taken back,the gravy for my burger was not nice at all and the onions were cold Shame really but we will be looking at going else where from now on
