Very interesting and inspiring exhibition in Kunstmuseum! The location is right near by the Schlossplatz. The ticket is around ~20€ per person but there are discounts for some group of people, for example, students. Not very crowed. Much visit place in Stuttgart!

Einmal😅.

Loved the fact that inside the museum you can see both old and new art pieces, different art currents, different views. And now, with this pandemic going on, they are really prepared for everybody to be safe!

I came here especially for the Otto Dix collection and was certainly not disapointed. The Otto Dix rooms are exemplary and the paintings are exhibited exactly as a museum should. Alas, all paintings are behind glass. Necessary but regrettable.

A great deal for the price (student). Many lovely and interesting works of art. I spent about an hour here and read almost everything, didn't sit to watch anything for too long. Did not see the Now or Never exhibit. Overall a nice afternoon!

Lovely gallery located in the heart of Stuttgart. Near major shopping and market. The main floor cafe is great for a glass of wine, beer, coffee and a dessert.

A fantastic space! The architecture is an attraction in itself but, of course, it’s the art that is the real drawcard. The work on display may not be from the most famous artists – and there’s an emphasis on local creators – but the collection shows a depth of imagination and creativity in a range of styles.

Loved it here I recently discovered my love of museums, had a blast loved the exhibits, and hope to visit more. Give your self plenty of time to see everything about 3 hours. Would have liked to see chair availability but probably would have been there all day haha. Check out the Gego exhibit before it’s gone it was my favorite would have liked to see postcards for it at the shop but overall a great time.

To be honest as a museum lover I wouldn’t say it’s one of the best museums I’ve ever visited. The location is really good, city center, easy to find and walkable distance from hauptbahnhof. The architecture itself is pretty cool and the restaurant on roof top has amazing view of Stuttgart city. Variety of artwork is not so big but really good for a cozy walk and chat together with your friends or bf/gf. Books in souvenir shop are cool though!

A must visit in the area of Stuttgart. It is worth looking at the way the city leaders are embracing modern art and its contributors. Apart from this, the artists exhibited have very attractive pieces of art!

I like that there were not much people so I could enjoy by my pace, but there was a guard following me around seemed like I would destroy the artpiece, which made me feel uncomfortable to be followed around.

Very good museum, very complete with original exhibitions. If you visit the city it is a good place to discover. The staff is very nice and do not hesitate to come and give us additional explanations on the different works.

A wonderful modern art museum. Had an excellent selection of works in different mediums and styles. The curation was excellent and the staff were quite friendly.

Not a big fan of modern arts, however I enjoyed a lot of parts in the Museum.

The museum is as good as always. Love it when there is a new exhibition. The Ai one was definitely freaky and entertaining. You can always visit tho for the main gallery when there isn’t a special exhibition. You gan give your backpack and jackets to the wardrobe for free.

very cool building, objects not stunning enough, very traditional ways of presentations, stuffs are not the best for art galleries

    Modern art at its best!

Very boring, definitely not worth the 11€ for the ticket. Most of the "art" is modern, so don't expect to make sense of it. Skip this one

The cafe is my favourite place to go whenever I got a minute to spare. The service is fast and always polite. They always have the most delicious cake and you'll get a big coffee for the price of a small one WITH croissant and water. So .. it's perfect.

I enjoyed my 1st visit to the museum. Though not the biggest fan of modern art, there were plenty of pieces there that I admired. The museum feels much larger inside than it appears, especially the ground floor and -1. On the ground floor, there were areas that were roped off and others that had a dead end. I went down one path and had to retrace my steps, only to discover it was newly blocked off. Other areas had large yellow arrows taped on the floor that led me the wrong way (straight to the emergency stairs and not the artwork). One display was inside the walls and was a neat experience since it was "interactive." Had there been more displays like this, I would have recommended it for younger children. The upper floors were more crowded as the rooms were smaller and showed the most current highlighted exhibit. The lower floors were more spread out and way less dense in population. Perhaps these pieces don't change often or are permanent displays? Overall, it was a nice experience and if you haven't been yet, I would recommend a visit to the Kunstmuseum Stuttgart

Wonderful building and great collection. We also saw the wonderful exhibition of Tobias Rehberger's work in April. Fantastic experience

Good regional art gallery with the focus of the main collection being 20th century German. Lots of it not to my liking, but some highlights including a good selection of Otto Dix.

The Otto Dix collection is world class! A must see even if you don't know this artist.

99% all paintings: Most of the artwork date from mid-1800s through late-1900s. Special exhibitions are upstairs floors 2-4. My teenage sister enjoyed it but younger kids will probably find this museum boring. We were hoping for sculptures too but they were sparse.

Really nice museum. Its not overwhelmingly big and you can get through it in a couple hours. You can purchase drinks and visit the gift shop on the main level. We went a little later so there weren't a lot of people there
