I stayed at this Hilton for just over a month and it was pretty nice. This was during the beginning of COVID in 2019, so understand the circumstances behind this review. I was upgraded to a larger room for my stay and it was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accomodating during my stay. I had a sauna in my room that did not work, and in the month of be being there it was never fixed. The food in the hotel bar was pretty good and they have a decent amount of options. Lieferando is a good option if you want food delivered to the hotel as well. There is a bar on the bottom floor, separate from the restaurant that can be pretty loud when there is a game at the stadium next door as well. Other food options are about a 10-20 minute walk away. Overall not a bad stay and would recommend it.

sauna in room did not function (2nd time this happened) no food offerings beyond standard breakfast (not child friendly) gym access issues with key card no HH benefits / focus to make your stay pleasant like in most other Hilton family hotels

I have stayed in many Hilton gardens all over the country. This is the first one that did not have bar or restaurant open very disappointing Especially the fact that it's Christmas Eve and Christmas Day not eve any music playing in lobby it's like a gohst town so sad.

Rooms were nice and staff was friendly but the restaurant’s dinner menu is lacking. Not vegetarian friendly and unaccommodating. We ended up eating at Palm Beach Stuttgart that was right next to the hotel, great food, good prices, and staff there was also nice.

Located right next to Carl Benz stadium. Upgraded to a huge suite with lots of space. Can park on street for free. Breakfast was very good.

We organised the conference in the Hilton Hotel. From the start to the end, everything was perfectly communicated with the Hilton team. The Hilton team were amiable and respectful. Quicker response to the questions. Good location and can be easily accessed with the public transport. The MHP-arena is located directly opposite to the Hotel and the Mercedes-Benz museum is very nearby.

From the beginning we had problem with the batroom and shower space. Before the reservation i had sent an email and asked about door sizes and bathroom space because of my son condition that sits in wheelchair. We recieved an email that it is ok. But when we saw the bathroom space, we found it too small, never before seen such a small bathroom and shower space. I asked for a solution but they told the only possibility is reserving two rooms with big bathroom , that was beyond our budget. I asked to cancel the reservation but they refused refunding. We already had been in other hotels with normal rooms , not asked for facilities for disabled people, and no problem encoutered such as this. At last we had to go to our friends house and use their shower for my son!! :( This was a terrible experience for us. *** At the second night of our stay , the ventilator becamd noisy , so that i had to throughout the night put a pillow on my head to be able to sleep. When i asked for a check and repair, after two other days, first they told this is normal, and when i surprised and asked for more explanation, another staff told sorry this is a problem with the whole building and we can't do anything to solve it! This was the worst experience for me :( Customer service score : 1/5👎👎👎

This time called my attention completely this bad experience at the Hilton Premises. At night the heating in our room 332 was very hot and we couldn’t turn it off, which made the room impossible to sleep at. At around 6 am, there were workers from the next building starting to work with heavy machines (stadium) and no one told us on advance about this remodeling activities at this early hour of the day. The restaurant was a really bad experience, despite having attentive personal on the service side; I ordered a chicken burger, and I mentioned that I was with the time meassured, as I had to drive back home and pick up my girlfriend on my way, 20 minutes after I placed my order I told the waitress if she knew what was going on (as I was the ONLY GUEST AT THE RESTAURANT!). She went to the kitchen and it seems she mentioned something to the people in the kitchen. After a total of 35 minutes of waiting one chicken burger as the ONLY GUEST AT THE RESTAURANT… I requested the check for my bottle of water and cancelled the burger as I had no more time to eat because I was going to drive. Once I paid, immediately came the supervisor with the burger in a plate and she asked me if I wanted it „to go“, offer that I declined as I was going to be with my hands on the wheel for a 630+ kilometers drive. As I reported this to the front desk as I picked up my luggage, they offered me a bottle of water, which I declined as I was really dissatisfied about the situation and hungry. The supervisor was seating in the back glassroom checking me with the eyes but never offered an apology or something related. Really dissatisfied for the first time in my life at a Hilton stay.

The heat in my room needs to be fixed. The shower drain has to be cleaned out. I personally had to clean what I could so that the water would drain properly. Personnel is very kind and friendly 😊 and will get right on any issues you may encounter. Oh and the Steam room isn't working.

Except the location, everything is great. This place is very good for people who come to Stuttgart to watch football matches in the Stadium. Otherwise, you don't find any near by shops. You need to go to BadCanstatt for buying things in super market. The breakfast has good varieties and the restaurant in 2nd floor is very good. The dishes are made so tasty.

Could not pick a better location for Festing! Sure the price is a little steep for a weekend! But it’s how I’ll go each year from now on! Staff is amazing, beds are comfortable and a great breakfast collection! The bar was a little lacking in what they had but we made do! It was one of the absolute best weekends spent.

The property is just next to the Stuttgart sporting arena and quite close to the Mercedes-Benz museum. The rooms were decent, delicious breakfast spread was served and the stay was quite peaceful.

Fabulous location! Definitely the finest Hilton Garden Inn I have ever seen! Really a crown jewel of the brand. Beautiful facility with tons of personality and plenty of amenities. State-of-the-Art workout facilities, attached restaurant and bar and spotlessly clean!! But that’s only the beginning…. The amazing people are what makes this place truly special!! Not the property’s fault, but there was a large, public concert across the street at an arena. Due to the placement of our room, we were exposed to the continuous, loud bass sounds. This was concerning because we were traveling with children that needed to sleep. I casually mentioned it to Paul at the front desk and he stepped up and fixed the problem! He offered to move us to a different room away from the noise, so the kids could sleep! I never expected Paul to be so concerned and to take such decisive action to stop our issue immediately- even though it wasn’t the hotels fault. Paul was exceptional and the Hilton brand is lucky to have this great young man with their organization.

Avoid this hotel at all costs!!! On Friday, September 1, 2023, during my check in process, I specifically asked the front desk workers if I could park on the street and they assured me that I could park the car there without any problems. One of the people who I spoke with at the front desk was Roza. The next morning, at around 9:30am on September 2, 2023, I went outside to get my car and noticed that it was about to be towed away by a tow truck. When I asked traffic control clerks what happened (fortunately one of them spoke English), they informed me that I was not allowed to have my car parked there starting from 9:00am. I got them to agree to not tow away my car, but they told me that I would get a ticket issued for 500 euros and I should receive it through the car rental company. I don’t speak German and completely relied on the information that was provided to me at the front desk during my check in process, which was communicated to me in English. Notice at the front desk was in German only. There was nothing about street closure in English. When I talked to Roza at the check in counter the next day, she apologized for what has happened and it looked like during our check in process she forgot that the next day after our check in there was a game and there were parking restrictions. That was the reason she did not provide this information to us during the check in. She told us, she would talk to the hotel manager to see if she could take care of this situation and collected our contact information. Apparently, the next day Roza realized that it was entirely her fault and she would be fired or penalized for this and then told the manager that she had informed us of the parking restrictions but we ignored her advice. The hotel manager took her side and stated that the staff was highly trained and it was not their fault, and refused to compensate us for the ticket. While searching other hotel reviews on google, I found that the same thing happened to someone else a year ago. In addition, on Friday, Sept 1, 2023 around 9.30pm we wanted to call the front desk, but the phone in the room was not working (no signal). We daughter had to get dressed and go downstairs to request an extra sheet. 40 minutes later, we still did not get anything. Then, my wife, after she took a shower, had to get dressed and go downstairs for the 2nd time to request a sheet. By the way, the phone was not working during our entire stay. Moreover, when I booked a room, I requested a room on a quiet side of the hotel. It was very unpleasant to see that the hotel gave us a room facing construction side, which started around 8:00 in the morning and woke us up. The hotel staff caused us serious emotional distress and almost ruined our vacation plans. If the hotel manager wants to destroy tourism in the area and make people avoid this hotel, then she is executing perfectly!

Our family of 4 stayed here 1 night passing through stuttgart. Parking was free on the street (if you could find it) & 18 euros in the deck. We chose street parking. Staff was friendly, room was spacious & we used the nice laundry area to wash/dry. Location was convenient to the Mercedes museum & the soccer arena but far from anything else. Enjoyed the free coffee & water in the AM. A major con was that the A/C did not work & the entire hotel it was very hot. I would’ve chosen another hotel for the night if I had known the A/C was not on since we were seeking a good night’s rest before a long drive the next day.

Nothing I would recommend. You don’t get the loyalty upgrades as in other high end Hilton properties. The cheeseburger is not worth the money, less than average. The bartender can’t take a proper food order. The breakfast is wonderful.

Comfy room with fast internet and work desk. Bring your laptop and the room is your office. The only downside is that it is too close to the stadium, which makes a lot of noise. You can close the window but you still can hear the base a little. If you are very sensitive to base sound noise this place is not for you.

  • 1/5 Alexander S. 9 months ago on Google
Don't book here if you want sleep more than 6AM. Construction sounds are so loud that it's impossible to sleep even if you are very tired. I don't understand what is the point of selling rooms if there is such big construction just under the windows which starts at the early morning. Besides, here is what we found near our room. But it's peanuts in comparison to noise. P. S. Parking worth 18 euros has sign "park on your own risk" and it looks like it truth since it's not closed, doesnt have cameras and a bunch of strange looking people is there.

Good hotel, friendly staff, good restaurant with perfect breakfast. The only issue is on the 3rd floor there was a smell in the hallway of something not so nice. Maybe like burning wire? It was not pleasant. But the room was good with no smell. It was a struggle to control the temperature 🌡 in the room. For me it was so hot! Lol But over all it was a good stay.

Great location if you want to visit the Mercedes-Museum or if you have business to the at the Mercedes HQ. The main train station is 15mins by taxi, but there public transportation is available as well. The room is spacious and clean, the bed was comfy, and you can set the room temperature on your own. Great selection of breakfast items, everything super fresh.

On the occasion of a seminar that brought together 40 people over 2 days, the welcome, attentiveness and responsiveness of all the staff was top notch! The rooms were very clean, comfortable and spacious, as well as the meeting rooms. Excellent food and really affordable prices. Special and sincere thanks to Ann-Kathrin, Vivienne and M. Dimi who were great with us all through our event !

Too low quality for a too high price. Good hotel for visiting the Mercedes-Benz Museum, as it is in walking distance.

Great hotel, perfect place for a soccer match visit or concert. Sits right between the stadium and the arena.

Position is nice only for visiting Mercedes Museum or Mercedes Arena stadium, it is far from city center and the area is not well served by public transportation (to reach metro station you need to walk 20 mins).

Overnight stay. Lovely rooms and reception staff. Avoid the "pub" in the hotel. Food is mediocre and the portion size is small for the price.

Reception officials do not inform about the parking lot because of them, because there was a game on Sunday, my car was towed and our day was ruined. Also, although you are a hotel customer, the hotel charges you for parking. Come on, why don't they give discounts to their customers? one of the elevators was not working, we waited for the elevator for 15 minutes, like a bus. Other than that it has a great location. Mercedes museum 200 m walk around.

A place to stay for comfort. Although it is old, there's everything you need for a comfortable stay. I would recommend the staff to ask customers if they need toothbrush, shaver etc that wasn't part of the room (can ask if you need, but we keep forgetting). Just ask us when we check in. But floor always wet at shower side cos design (they can't do much unless renovate. Room was comfy, blanket a bit thick (maybe good during winter), air conditioning is cold and nice (but the green light, very bright, bring a sticker or something to cover it) and shower is nice and clean with hot water. The best thing is the microwave! Such a simple thing for a hotel to have. Recommended for people that wants to visit Mercedes museum that is walking distance

Good hotel located next to Mercedes-Benz museum. We stay here to visit the museum early in the morning to escape the crowd. Our room was comfortable and clean. The hotel and it’s air conditioning system were quiet. The free sparkling water bottle in the room and free tea, coffee in the lobby were appreciated.

Friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms, great breakfast. I was in town for some sightseeing, and a visit to the Mercedes museum. This was a great place to stay, close to the museum. Lots of parking.

Clean and great room but above all... Grey. Grey colors, Grey appearance, not even a fresh flower, so my mood after a long trip was Grey too. The room is really.... sad, yet neat. The Mike pub was offering a tastiful strip from New Zealand and a good breakfast, but even here the atmosphere was... distopic. The room on Monday was overpriced by some 33% comparing to Sunday. In spite the staff was welcoming, in spite the room was clean (yet in need of refresh and maintenance) I'm unlikely to be back, as I think Stuttgart offers beers alternatives for the average price they ask.

Great accommodations and customer service/care. The staff were professional, helpful and very friendly. Breakfast choices were very good and high quality. Hotel is centrally located in Stuttgart for local activities, dining and day trips to nearby cities. A few minutes walking distance from the Mercedes Benz Museum and the fish market is just a short drive away. Highly recommend the HGI in Stuttgart.

Excellent hotel - just outside of the city but next to the Mercedes Arena. We were upgrade to the junior suite and was totally amazed that the room not only had a living room but also a build in sauna (yes, a sauna)!! Not the best location but also not too far (10-15 mins) from the city center. Breakfast was also good and had a good selection of hot and cold dishes.
