Amazing trail, although quite challenging if walking with small children. At the end of the trail, the recorded distance was around 5km and 36 floors climbed!! Great picturesque area with several rest areas to enjoy the view or have a quick picnic.

Probably and likely one of the most beautiful trails/cognitive paths in the entire country. Neris Regional Park direction very accurately call it their gem. The trail is only some 5km long, but offers a wide variety of sights: stupendous hill forts, beautiful greenery, ruins of a mill house, ruins of a river dam, river outcrops, old giant oaks and oak groves, “the only mountain river in Lithuania”, a stretch of the river full of balancing stone piles, giant boulders in the river, steep slopes, deep valleys, lovely rest stops and fantastic vistas. I went there in the fall and can be sure that the fall is the best time to take the trail - the already beautiful views are even more beautiful on a sunny day when colourful leaves seem to shine. The trail isn’t difficult, but not an easy one: expect steep slopes and quite a few stairs; it might be difficult for seniors or kids. However, if you take your time, you’ll make it and you’ll absolutely love it. Not only you’ll enjoy beautiful nature, but also learn quite a bit about Lithuanian history thanks to the gorgeous hill forts and the info plaques that the park has prepared and put along the trail. Highly recommend visiting it.

Great views in trail next to rives Duksta. Old mill, stones, great river. Its really worth to visit especially in good weather. The parking is not big, but there is a possibility to park in road. The trail is not adjusted for wheels (no bikes, baby carts, etc. as there are lot of stairs to climb in several areas. Threre are few places to sit and take a rest. It will take few hours to go through all trail. But its really worth :)

Great place to walk in dry weather. Haven't tested it in snow yet. Good for trip and time with friends, family or/and dog 😊

Nice hiking place, but here are many stairs, so problematic way for couples with babies, anyway beautiful nature near river with salmons in autumn and other fishes

Exceptionally beautiful 5+ km trail. Lots of stairs and uneven terrain, great for a nice hike. Do make sure to have somewhere to hold your trash.

We have visited it during the winter. Specifically for this season you should do some preparation before visit. Think about your footwear especially because the stairs are slippery and this could lead to some extreme situations because terrain is mountainous. Worth mentioning that nature here is breathtaking :)
