Childrens hospital Hospital department

😠 In order to write something, the 1 star was practically mandatory...actually there isn't a single star from me. My grandchild's treatment there today... simply terrible... a severely inflamed thumb. It was just iced up and everything was picked up. He screamed in pain. Things are probably different... People often mention children, hours, child, emergency, fever, doctor, treatment, waiting, room, time,

Some people should consider whether they have chosen the right career for themselves. The only thing I can praise is that it went very quickly for us this time. We waited 20 minutes. Why? My daughter was rated very high due to the high fever and her condition. During the examination the doc tells me it's a normal cold. He didn't want to do tests to rule out anything. Only when I pointed it out again did he do a swab to rule out scarlet fever. I don't go there because of a cold. So we went home again. At home it now reached 40.6 degrees. She was feeling terribly bad. She couldn't walk anymore. To get to the end. There is no way you can get infected as a parent. So it started just as violently for me and still is. Result via test by my family doctor....Influenza....So my daughter has a normal cold. Today is 5 for her and she can still barely take a step. By the way, ALL symptoms pointed to influenza. The medication is the same...certainly. But this is important information. These are children. Mine is 5 years old. Saving, making and incompetent, otherwise she would have made the diagnosis straight away and done a test. Working in the hospital, especially in the emergency department, is certainly stressful and admirable BUT everyone who starts there knows what they are getting into and if I can't cope with it, I have to work somewhere else if I'm not able to do my job properly . The influenza tests are important and reporting them is important. The evaluations about this are important. Person. This is just a story...When I think about the birth at St Joseph...a disaster. It was terrible. I had an incompetent midwife and a visiting doctor who didn't know what she was doing. The torment I had to go through. It took me over a year to process it. A meningococcal infection that took the life of a little girl. All children who had close contact with me had to receive medical treatment as a precaution. 4 day incubation period. The deadline was a Sunday. All pharmacies were closed. They sent us through half of Berlin. No emergency pharmacy service had this product in stock. It could come by express shipment on Monday. That would be too late. With this infection, the children leave the story disabled or dead. The hospital would first have to put together the medication itself. After forever trying to get the drug, we all had to go back to St Joseph and it was a theater. Then they came with the drug ready-made tablets... nothing they made themselves. There are a few such experiences. It's sad and a shame.

My grandchild's treatment there today... simply terrible... a severely inflamed thumb. It was just iced up and everything was picked up. He screamed in pain. Things are probably different here in the country, if you consider what is enshrined in the children's rights that exist in Germany. Hopefully we will never have to visit this hospital again. I'm just horrified. The child could have been treated more gently with anesthesia. A money question??? One more postscript: we will not accept this. There is a written law when it comes to children. Maybe the gods in 'white' should educate themselves on this. I'm happy to help because I have experience with this and have been working with children for 35 years.

There is one star for the friendly pediatrician and the other for the equipment in the waiting area. Otherwise impossible nurse who thinks that our arrival by ambulance would be a waste of tax, the 350 EUR could have been saved. This was about a possible poisoning of my baby and the paramedics urgently recommended going to the hospital. ABSOLUTE impudence and inappropriate! Nurse didn't move either... never again!

A whole 4 hour wait! Bring food and drink for your children and, ideally, pajamas, blankets and pillows. That is unreasonable. Staff extremely unfriendly. Allegedly “acute” cases are given priority. Not recommendable! Especially not if you are there with your children. Addition: after 5 hours we had had enough and complained to the administration! Result/Conclusion: The employees shrug their shoulders, no treatment for us! No superior on duty to whom you can lodge a complaint! unfriendly staff and very disrespectful. No inhibitions even if you are standing there with a child. In summary: received no treatment for our sick son and waited a whole 5 hours for nothing. No, this story is not fictional. No, it is true. Sad! Never again !

Here patients are not taken first. At 10 p.m. the 1-year-old child went to the pediatric emergency room with a fever of 41 degrees. “Unfortunately” the paracethamol suppository caused the fever to drop to 38.3. After waiting for 3 hours we would be led into the classroom. The sleeping child should be undressed and "evaporated" (original sound nurse). After an hour there was still no doctor in sight. No info either. We drove home with the sick child at 2 a.m. after more than 4 hours of doing nothing. Apparently they thought we were too scared and wanted to set an example. Incredible.

Very friendly and pleasant reception and waiting area with tables and small chairs for the children and comfortable benches for the parents. A spacious and clean changing room is available. Drinks and snacks can be purchased directly in the waiting area. Very friendly staff. Bright and clean treatment rooms with cute decorations, which our child found very exciting (good distraction). The treating doctor took a lot of time for us, examined our child thoroughly and lovingly and gave us detailed and competent advice. We waited about 2 hours on a Friday afternoon right before New Year's Eve, absolutely fine for an emergency room.

Anyone who has had a baby at night or has a fever. I do not advise you to go to the children's department and treat them badly and wait for many.

A few days after the birth we had to come back here for a little check-up. The doctor, nurses and assistants did their job well. Thanks to you all! We didn't have to wait long, the waiting room seemed a bit small.

In view of these difficult times, I would like to thank you very much for the empathetic treatment by the doctors and nurses of the emergency service at St Joseph. We had to wait a long time in the emergency room, which is very grueling, but with so many emergencies, the staff, who have already been severely overworked for a long time, can't help. When we finally got there, the pediatrician looked after my little son with empathy and did everything necessary so that he wasn't afraid. Respect for the staff's achievements and their calm despite overwhelmed and very emotional parents. Something urgently needs to happen in politics!

Certainly nice and good pediatricians. But 1 KV pediatrician for 20 children meant waiting 4 hours for us. And that's no fun with a child with a fever of 39 degrees. And when scarlet fever is diagnosed, the other waiting patients who arrived there with minor aches and pains such as a sprained finger don't have as much fun after the incubation period either... It should definitely be possible to increase it at short notice depending on the situation. Otherwise you will be forced to take out private insurance. So if you don't have an emergency, you shouldn't take the risk of seriously infecting your child there.

So this hospital doesn't even deserve one star The doctors and the nurses who work there are very bad Man goes there with sick children and has to wait for 6 hours as if man were going there for fun Very, very bad These doctors are not real doctors, they should find another profession for myself, but he shouldn't be a doctor They don't deserve zero stars

My sister broke her ankle and we waited 5 hours for service and all the staff were very selfish and no one helped when asked due to delays, a very bad experience and i recommend that you better travel miles to a hospital and service better.😀
