We visited this place a day before to be told it was fully booked despite several tables being vacant. So we made a reservation for today asking for river view tables. Today when we arrived we were asked to sit in the back room despite again several tables being vacant in the front (pistures attached). Our request was for a front table was rudely and dismissively dealt by the sullen, scowling fellow who runs the show. Perhaps we would have stayed but this man's rude behaviour was utterly unprofessional and contrary to the high ratings this restaurant gets. My take is that tourists are not welcome and they prefer to give the prime seating to the locals and prefer to tuck the tourists away in a corner where they do not spoil the view of their local patrons

Nice location and great atmosphere. The main course arrived in more than 25 minutes, although it was not a busy hour at all. It's a bit overpriced, but the food is tasty.

Extremely tasty food in a comfortable setting with polite staff (who speak English and can provide English menus, for any other foreigners interested). My only complaint is that the food is extremely overpriced compared to other restaurants in Ruse, and the quality is not that much higher (tasty though it was). The restaurant is also not wheelchair accessible, for those that matters to. Regardless, it was a nice treat with a great view of the Danube. I had the spinach-stuffed chicken fillet, which I wholeheartedly recommend.

Good place for lunch or dinner if you’re in town. The menu was quite extensive with lots of fresh traditional and modern salads, fresh pasta, mains and what we were there for- seafood and bbq. The view of Danube river and the coast line of Romania is probably the most impressive thing, we sat at a table by the window to enjoy it. The salad I ordered was a bit of a disappointment as it was a Caesar with calamari, but the calamari were only 3 rings on top of my salad, hence the 4 not 5 stars in my review, however the salad was delicious. The main made up for it- I ordered a bbq catfish that was absolutely fantastic, juicy and fresh. The customer service was also excellent, the waitress was friendly and professional helping us choose what we wanted. I’d recommend this place and would love to visit it again.
