We use this hotel whenever we can for family visits. A rather quirky little hotel. Well maintained, rooms a little on the small size but well appointed. Cosy I guess. Breakfast is excellent! Ground floor largely given over to a Chinese restaurant and cocktail bar which serves excellent food and is very popular. Hotel very friendly and open for a chat. Love the place. Disabled access could be a problem. Car park small with charging points.

We stayed here on Friday night, 4 of us for a work meet up. Bar was absolutely fantastic, staff extremely helpful and the tapas style food was lovely. We all stayed over and had good nights sleep, the rooms are a tad dated but for the price you really can’t complain. Overall we all enjoyed the night and would recommend.

This is a nice little boutique hotel in the town centre, the rooms are well furnished with plenty of storage and the bar and restaurant are nicely decorated and feel quite opulent, the bar has a good selection of beer, wine and cocktails. The restaurant is Chinese dining, and the food is really good (one of the best Chinese meals I've ever had). The breakfast is served in the bar area and is freshly made to order. My only negative would be is that if you're staying more than one night, you might not want to eat Chinese food every night, so maybe a bar meal menu could be offered with the options of steak, burgers, fish and chip's etc however being a town centre hotel there are other options a short walk away. Don't go to the chippy across the road, not good.

Good option for a stay, only problem can be the stairs, there's a few, especially if your at the top.... Staff are great, parking can be tight and there was one electric charge point. Food menu was not clear as there's alot on the Chinese based menu.... But it tastes good. Traditional full English on offer in the morning, tea, coffee and orange. Juice.... Even peppermint tea if you ask...

Great hotel to stay, friendly staff and very clean rooms. The food here was amazing and l will definitely return. I would rate this hotel 10 out 10

Nice 3 star B&B with a twist. Rooms were dated but had everything you need - hot powerful showers, lovely linen, decent mattress, comfy pillows and wonderful staff! The cocktail bar is excellent and the Chinese restaurant very good (although stick to the regular dishes - the chef specials were okay but nothing special at twice the average dish price!). Highly recommend.

Lovely place with tasteful, artsy, gorgeous decor; rooms are clean and breakfast is delicious. Service is kind and friendly. Definitely recommend if you need a place to stay in the area.
