Called in here for evening meal as I was staying locally. The dining area is great, I loved the fact you can take a seat then do all ordering through the app. The process of ordering drinks and food is very easy through the app with all items arriving in good time. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is good with a selection of tables or booths to choose from; there are also some higher tables with stools. The area is large, Wi-Fi available all menu items are reasonably priced.

Staff always friendly & welcoming - mainly female ones. Food great (for weatherspoons!).. quick, hot & nice taste. Drinks always 100% quality.. for the price I don't know how they do it!

Great pub good value usual wetherspoons fayre, rooms very nice,spacious and lovely bathroom, only downside ,lots of stairs to room, so mobility issues for some people.

Stayed for one night. Nice and modern room and even though the pub downstairs was busy. We couldn't hear any noise from our room. Have stayed here before and would recommend.

Very good prices for the quality of food and drink. Fab service and very quick. Placed our order on the app, drinks arrived within 5 minutes and food within 20 during peak times on a Saturday which was a pleasant surprise. Facilities were very clean and staff very helpful. Brilliant Spoons!

Very bad service from Beth (and her colleague was not able to rectify the issue). Short measure of beer served "because it's Belgian beer it's served with a head". Will be informing Rushmoor Trading Standards

Very nice place to spend time with friends in morning and evening. They have variety of options for vegetarians as well. Number of choices for drinks also available. Nice place . Must visit.

Love a good weatherspoons but sadly this one let me down. I ordered a drink in the middle of the day on a Sunday and it took 20 minutes! By the time my drink came I had finished my food. The food was lovely. It was just slower than usual and it looked like they were short staffed but they were also working quite slowly. 😑

I normally Don't leave reviews but the service is spot on ! Every time go out of their way to be accomadating . The manageress controls the busy atmosphere well . Could see I was oggling at my flat pint and was proactive to bring over a fresh one . Decent chilled social with pals for sure ! .

Stopped in for one of their excellent breakfasts, got there late 11am,they finish serving at 11:30am. They had run out of coffee but where very bizzy so not their fault and we where offered orange juice instead.

I ordered chicken wings so did me my mate, they brought what was someones my colleague ate it as he ordered first then after 20min I enquired about it and the guy said I've eaten my wings. Saw it on cctv... Well I have the invoice and so did my colleague... Quite unfair. But ya keep your invoices and be careful you might miss out on your wings. Other than him the rest of the staff is good and it's a nice atmosphere out side as long as they don't mess the orders up.

Pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting much in Aldershot, however I was greeted my a fairly smart looking Wetherspoons on the edge of town. Certainly one of the better branches around this area. Orfered BBQ burger and a Strongbow Dark Fruits. No issues with either. Friendly staff service too.

Great location and staff were really great. Food and drinks were super quick, quickest I've ever seen for a wetherspoon.

The food was fine but I wish the staff would wipe the bar now and then. It was drenched with drink spillage. The floor at the bar was incredibly sticky too, not pleasant. My visit was 5 September evening.

Typical Wetherspoons, decent food decent drinks. Food was brought out but items were forgotten, had to chase them. Dishes were not cleared for a while after finishing. Decent night all in all

Nice looking wetherspoons. Only popped in for food, so dont know what the hotel bit is like. The 2 staff we interacted with were very nice and friendly. Unfortunately, like 99% of wetherspoons, the breakfast came out warm and not hot but still good price for a big meal.

Firstly I did not stay in the hotel but used the weatherspoons. As expected the sports was on and the bar was busy but not packed. I used the app to order all my drinks and I did not have to wait long. 🙃 Most of the staff were nice and friendly but once we moved inside our table had plates on it from the previous people all night. And they never got removed. We did ask one waiter but he said he was not bothered. One of the benches outside was about to collapse. If you have a designated driver you can park at Morrison's carpark after 1700 with no maximum stay. So apart from the few faults above on this visit it was a good atmosphere and a good night. 👍

Fantastic drinks offers, attentive staff. Reasonably priced food. But as with other WS a very mixed crowd of mainly older clientele that like no music of pool table and young rowdy workmen and wino's that like cheap booze.

I stayed over in aldershot on a business trip with a couple of work colleagues. We decided on jd weatherspoons for a couple of drinks and I'm glad we did. It's very close to shops and fast food outlets, the pub itself has a lovely atmosphere and I have to give compliments to the team that work here nothing is a bother for them especially the young lady behind the bar. Shaunie if I remember rightly she made us feel very welcome from the off. I would definitely recommend based off this and I'll be sure to pay another visit when back down that way A*

Pop in now and again for breakfast and a pint of cider. Always a good quality breakfast and at a very good price. The staff at this particular weatherspoons seem to be always happy and friendly.

Excellent staff, great prices and food delicious. Definitely recommend The Queen Hotel.

We visited on Sunday lunch time, it was very busy and only a couple of free tables that were piled high with plates. After moving the plates ourselves, we ordered through the app, the drinks and food were served quickly. The food was as expected.

Third time I have stayed and always fantastic, a wonderful big room and bathroom this time , very quiet and had a wonderful stay again and staff wonderful , room amazing , drinks in beer garden and overall fabulous

Gem of a pub in Aldershot. Been here with kids during the day, and friends / other half in the evening during week and weekend. Always has a nice friendly vibe. Beer selection is alright - slightly limited compared to other spoons but still good. Service however is much quicker and better than other spoons I have been to.

It has a lot of seating, though very confusing layout. The food was cooked very well and tasted delicious, with the weather spoon app it's a very convenient way to order your drinks and food without having to leave the table. This has been a great addition to the way they work and it is appreciated. The staff were friendly and helpful when we needed assistance, also very apologetic when our food was delayed.

This is not a review about the hotel. I dropped in to Wetherspoons for breakfast last Saturday. I am usually a Sunday breakfast customer as Wetherspoons is the only establishment that is open early enough (8am) to allow me to set out early to hit the motorways. Experience has taught me not to expect much. Mind you, I am not paying much either. However, hats off to the Saturday crew. Ordering was easy, breakfast came quickly, service was friendly and to my utmost surprise, given previous experience, the breakfast was piping hot. At the similar establishment in Stratford-upon-Avon the breakfast has never got above an almost acceptable warm. So well done folks. The price, well, the second largest breakfast with extra black pudding and refillable coffee came to just over a laughable £7. Will I be back. Yes, of course. 3× for location. It is Aldershot town centre 🙂

Perfect location for family visits. The room was beautiful and we felt very well looked after. When I asked our room to be cleaned everything was replaced. ( including the hot chocolate sachets and biscuits!)As it was a longer stay of 5 nights I really appreciated being put in the top floor bedroom as we were away from the bustle of the pub and had gorgeous views of trees and the memorial park. A big thank you to all the staff.

Quick service and friendly staff however one of our drinks was forgotten about and had to go up to the bar to request it.

Cheap beer, cheep food and convenience of ordering through the app means it isn't too bad. Great for people watching: We watched 3 mums, all with children in pushchairs doing rounds of shots at the bar at 4pm.

Please don’t book this hotel the service is so poor and they are clearly fraud . My two friends from America visit on uk last week . My friend booked hotel online but his card visa doesn’t work . I booked hotel for them by using my card . When we spoke to reception they said we have to book 2 rooms . I said to them I am not staying this hotel just for my friends. They argued with us then we moved to Travelodge. But still they charged me £68 . I asked them refund my Mandy they said no … they are clearly fraud and very rude staff .

Ordered using the Wetherspoons app but service was a little slow. Cannot fault the prices though and food was hot and tasty.

I am visiting restaurant for a dinner from time to time. Usually I'm only there for a short time to eat something because the food is really tasty and for a good price. However, today's situation has made me doubt who is employed there. I waited in line to place an order like the others and when it was my turn lady from the bar said: "now is not your turn , this guy was before you" okay, I thought, I waited so long for this, then I can wait now as well. Finally lady was ready to take my order, I asked for chicken wings and two red sauces, I didn't manage to finish the sentence when I heard: "maybe please? Don't talk to me like that!" I was shocked a bit and just explained that she didn't let me even finish the sentence, but didn't get any apology for this aggressive behaviour. I had feelings that I was attacked because of mine foreign accent…Girl with blond curly hair should hold her emotions when is serving customers or just simply change the job. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Some wetherspoons are a bit more characterful but it's spacious, has a large outside area and the usual keen prices. VERY handy for the Prince's Hall theatre if you want a pre show meal and drink. Or if you are in the cast like me - a drink afterwards!

Do you enjoy overcooked steak, dry chicken, and getting ID'd multiple times? If so, this is the Spoons for you! A group of friends and I went to grab dinner as it had been a while since we had all got together. The bouncer at the door meant one of us had to return home to grab his ID (you know. just in case he decided to renounce his shahada for a pint of Guinness.) Regardless this is more or less par-for-the-course at pubs, though it was only a Sunday evening. We sat down at the table and ordered a meal and drinks. Looking around, there was a family sat near with two very obviously young children. How on earth did they get in without ID? Not important - though I did wonder if I had come with my parents, would I have been ID'd? Our drinks came, but not before the waitress did a sweep of our IDs. Naturally they had already taken our money, so it didn't really matter to them if we were of age. We all passed the check, then proceeded with dinner. While eating dinner, another bouncer came and asked for our ID's. This is almost as bad as that time someone asked me to show them my Driving Licence in the middle of a movie... Oh wait! That never happened, since that would be rather silly. Near the end of our night we had another bouncer come eye us up, but fortunately didn't ask us for anything. Phew! Glad we got away with underage drinking. (NOT!) In all seriousness, I understand the need for a business to check who they are serving liqueur to. But at the same time, three times over the course of your meal? That's a bit impolite now isn't it.

Absolutely shocking, they are the most unorganised and unprofessional people. 10 of us were sat at the table, 9 of us had ID except for 1, someone you could identify as over 18. We all got ID’d and one person wasn’t served as there was no ID but once ordered from the bar instead of app this person had their alcoholic drink. The person who said we couldn’t have it took it away after their staff colleague gave it to us and then kicked out all of us after our drinks although some of us are 30+. Appalling

Easily the worse weatherspoons I have ever been to. After only 1 drink, we were told that our table had been cut off due to one person not having ID (even though he was served at the bar and is aged 23). The young lad at the bar (who had a buzz cut and looked like Sid from Toy Story) was extremely aggressive and rude and shouted in our faces, even though all we asked was why are we not being served anymore. The security guard was also extremely poor by saying we were no longer being served due to ID issues, even though we all had our ID and out of 4 of us, 2 are in there 40’s and 2 both 20 years old (all with ID). I can only hope the manager of this establishment sees this and takes action as I don’t imagine they wish for there staff to be aggressive, verbal and extreme use of bad language (all on CCTV). Thankfully we will never be returning here.
