Terrible place, cold steak and cold fries. I ordered a New York Strip an was served some kind of cheap sirloin steak that was cooked until dry. Not a good place to eat, stay away.

We went for a party. It is the first and the last time my family will eat there. My steak was so tough I could barely eat it. I ordered medium well but I got rare. After sending it back, I got extra well done. I understand it was a party and the cooks got slammed but our food should have and could have been done right. The other problem was they gave my grandsons food to someone else so he had to wait for his food while all of us had food. The whole experience was terrible.

Good but for the price is not great.... The 24 oz steak was the size of most 16 oz and for $40 for just the steak and sides I don't mind the price but when you spend $250 to take your family out it should have been amazing but sadly I was disappointed.

My family and I stopped on our way back from Florida. We all had the ribeye steaks. House salad to start. Fried cabbage, sweet potato, as sides. The steaks were phenomenal! Didn't need any sauce perfectly seasoned! We'll definitely be back!

I'm sorry but the food here wasn't the greatest. They had a Mother's day special with an 8oz ribeye and lobster 🦞. I absolutely love lobster so I had to get it. The steak was very thin but was cooked properly. The lobster came out cold, over seasoned (it was a spicy seasoning) and no butter. I asked them to make me one without the seasoning and the bartender did. She went on break, came back and saw that I still didn't have the tail. She goes to the kitchen and comes back and says it's it will be 10 minutes because they had to cook one. What were they doing while she was on break? We decided against waiting. They did reduce my bill but tried to charge me for each side. They eventually took the sides off. The service was awesome.

My server Jessica was absolutely amazing and insured that every aspect of our meal was outstanding, but the kitchen and food prepared was absolutely awful. I have been coming to this restaurant since it opened and have seen a significant drop in food quality where the bartenders and server staff have done everything possible to make visits enjoyable. Obviously the ownership doesn't know where to focus on and have absolutely destroyed an amazing place. The bartenders, servers, and hostesses are absolutely amazing and unfortunately a sub par kitchen has ruined a great establishment.

Had to wait once we were seated for a long time for even someone to get us drinks but we didn't care. Was with family and catching up. Food was amazing and the lunch prices were the best I've seen in a very long time. Service was amazing and the boys devoured the food. In fact one kid ate two and a half of the Mac and cheese burgers. They were huge! Desserts looked scrumptious but didn't have room to even try one. Maybe next time

We've loved coming to T-Bones since we moved to the area, but this last time was disappointing. We sat at the bar and typically enjoy having the young lady named Jessica as our server/bartender. But two blonde women were behind the counter. The first greeted us and gave us menus, then we waited the better half of an hour before they spoke to us again. They seemed more interested in chatting with other servers or checking their phones. We were talking about leaving when the second finally came and asked if we wanted to order. Our food was good. We ordered mixed drinks and just got mixer or soda, no alcohol.

Great food. The friendly staff accommodated dinner for 15 flawlessly. Wonderful pictorial of Phenix City history.

Two and a half hours, one apology and no food to our table. Kitchen "lost" our ticket. Waitress was very nice and said that the manager would come talk to us right away. The manager never showed up. Sounds like the kitchen staff and the manager have severely dropped the ball on this one. We will NOT be back. Update: The manager has REFUSED to come talk to us. This establishment is an absolute joke.

1st time here. Not sure is come back soon, or often Service was extremely slow, and it wasn't busy. Although I have to say waitress was extremely nice and professional. But she never asked if i wanted another drink. Restaurant was clean Drinks arrived in a timely fashion however food didn't. Several tables who ordered after us, got their food first. Steak was good, cooked right and seasoned nicely. Fries and asparagus were over cooked....crunchy and hard. And i think i had about 5 asparagus. Heard good things about this place, maybe an off day.

We decided to give this restaurant a try for our anniversary. An excellent choice! Smothered chicken, salad, and squash casserole for me. A 10oz sirloin, salad, and sweet potato fries for The Mister. Perfect!

I like this place but learned tonight that they're not very good at accommodating big groups. 35-40 people and they gave us 1 server..... She actually did a pretty good job though, the bar tender was the failure. Very rude, told people they needed to go back to the table and order drinks from the server. Again I say.... 35-40 people, 1 server and the bartender refusing to take orders from people who walked up to the bar. Bartender appeared to be upset about adding items to tab. Expected way better service when you're part of a 4-5k ticket. Very disappointed. I was in there for an hour and half, I got 2 drinks, because I ordered 2 the first time I ordered, in which I had to go explain to the server that the bartender was refusing to add anything to tab. 11/22 terrible bartender

I was one of the two who arranged the Central Class of 73 Reunion Picnic at the Barn and I can truthfully say… everyone enjoyed a wonderful night! The food was delicious, cooked to order, everything we asked for our Planner accomplished with glowing success!! The business had not changed ownership and because of our success, Smith Station class of 1973 was on board for an equally successful night of getting together, celebrating 50 years with great food, however; this was not to be!! I attended this event too as a guest. I was immediately taken aback by the lack of friendly service from the two staff members of T Bones! Seems the left hand didn’t know what the right hand was doing as the Planner had left instructions for the food to be cooked and served. The Oyster Bar wasn’t to be opened as I am deathly allergic to all seafood including inhaling the odors. When the two leaders of SSHS went to ask for it to remain closed citing my and others problems, the man setting it up, yelled out, I wouldn’t have a problem but I did have a problem!! All he cared about was serving cheap food and his oysters with plenty of booze!! That’s unacceptable!! This new owner is only interested in making a buck anyway he can including stealing leftover food that was intended to go back to this class!! We had plenty of plates left over from ours that were given to some in our class who couldn’t make it!! We had already been in contact with the Planner for some return engagements for our Central class but we’re on hold!! I can’t trust T Bones new management to deliver what they promised anymore!! We want to keep our business in the Phenix City area but are now looking at other options!! I will tell anyone… don’t trust them for your event needs. I’m hopeful this Planner can find a better environment to work in or a better understanding with them, for the enjoyment of all!! Until then, please stay away.

From the moment you walk in, it is a fun atmosphere. We were quickly seated and had our drink order taken. Food did arrive fast. The rolls were hot, fresh, and delicious. The butter is extra cinnamony and very delicious. The person I was with raved about how delicious his Philly cheesesteak was for every bite. I had the hamburger steak, which was okay. It needed some seasonings or that fresh off the grill smoke flavor, but it was not there. It was cooked perfectly. I just needed a little more flavor. The Brussel sprouts were delicious even though they were a little cold. The cheese potatoes were fabulous. The Mac and cheese is obviously homemade, but I did not taste it. Unfortunately, we were too full to try the desserts, they looked amazing. Server was okay. We didn't really need much, which was good because she didn't make much effort.

I recently checked out this restaurant after hearing about it on Kissin 99.3. However, I was pretty disappointed with my experience. The food just didn't hit the mark for me, especially since my medium rare steak was surprisingly dry. On top of that, the service wasn't great either - the staff seemed pretty clueless when I asked them questions. I'm usually up for trying out new places, but this time, I don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon. It probably should've been a red flag that the place was empty on a Saturday night at 6 PM, but I gave it a shot anyway.

Food was delicious, as always! Decor is extremely dated. Is this a Western type restaurant? Country restaurant? All we heard was rock music!!! It would be nice to have bread plates. We have to hold the roll, cut it and butter it while trying to balance it in one hand! Then have to hold it until its completely eaten!

We went on Father's day and we knew to expect a wait. But the real issue is when we were seated at our table at 6:30. It took 25 minutes for the waitress to take our drink and appetizer order. Then if was another 45 minutes before she took our food order. Oh yes, we also had to get our own drinks from the bar. The real big issue was at 8:30 3 of our party left and the food still wasn't there. My son told them to make the order to go. The food arrived at 8:45 not boxed . The waitress thru the boxes down and told them to do it themselves . To top that off we never got one of the meals that was ordered and paid for!!! So much for a wonderful dinner! They never offered to comp any of the neal!

It was decent. I don't think the smothered chicken I kept hearing about on the radio lived up to its hype. I'll come back to give it another chance sometime. First impressions was its pretty much like Texas road house. My server was okay she could've been better. Overall it's not a bad place and wasn't super expensive for 3 people to eat.

June 1 st was our 50th reunion at the Barn. Food, service, and weather were very good. Carroll and LuLu took care of us. A big thanks from Class of 1973. Thanks,

We're new to the state. Passed by often & see lot always full. So we decided to give it a try. Worst experience & food ever!! Took a while to get acknowledged. Food came, but we had to ask for silverware. I ordered the hamburger steak & gravy plate as well as an additional veggie plate on the side. Only the fried cabbage(which was recommended by the server)was edible. My bf ordered a med well New York strip dinner. It was VERY tough to cut & very bloody. The redo was close to burned & still tough. Both times the server saw my bf attempting to saw through that cut of meat. The server apologized for everything and said that they would do better next time since we had informed him that it was our 1st time eating there. He asked if we needed to see the manager. Not wanting to be a bother, we said "no". He then had the NERVE to bring the check with ALL the returned dishes still charged!! THEN we requested the manager. The manager brought his assumptions to the table saying "ordering steaks beyond med well will be a tough road". We informed him of not only the way it was ordered, but also of the bloody mess it came out then the burnt mess the second go round. He reluctantly charged us for the drinks we ordered. The table bread was delicious.

Tucked away, right alongside of US 80, is T Bones Steakhouse. In a small little strip. Once inside you are taken back in time from Coca-Cola memobilla, even a telephone booth. There's a store, meeting rooms and then the main eating area with a full service bar. The outside is deceiving. They have a lunch menu and dinner. We ordered dinner for lunch, wanting to try the steaks of course 😋. Had the nine breaded wings and fries off the lunch menu for appetizers. Wings were wonderful they could have kept the fries. Although they were hands cut. The steaks were cooked just right as asked. There's plenty of sides to choose from. Most entrees come with the choice of 2. The food reminds me of food that I think cowboys would eat on a ranch. The downside, The lighting was kinda dark and the desert was a small portion for the price. Is you want a good steak, you have to visit!
