Why a two star rating for a hotel that I gave 5 stars for rooms, service, and location? Clientele is why. Formerly a Holiday Inn property, this hotel has been renovated and I was happy with ours. The entire property (it does appear a portion of the property is closed for renovation) is in good repair. Inexplicably the pool was quite cold in mid August. The problem is the room rates are too low and they're attracting some shady people. One was above us and had turned his room into a disco, complete with disco lights and the loud music to match. The smell of alcohol was extreme. Another group was sitting at the pool deck, drinking beer and smoking pot, while small children swam. They had their music so loud it was hard to speak over it. This is what I would expect out of a Motel 6, not a Clarion property. They would do well to raise the rates about $40 a night and this should remove the bad clientele, as this should be a family friendly property.

The room is clean and comfortable, the blankets are soft and the pillows are too. The mattress is firm but not like a rock. The check-in was smooth and courteous. The food at the restaurant/bar was good and the atmosphere was relaxed. Not a lot of drunks roaming which was good. It was quiet and the breakfast was standard but good quality.

Stayed here last week and it was nice and quiet. Beds were extremely comfortable and clean, wish I could take them home. The girl at the front desk was pleasant, let me check in two hours early with a big smile and made sure my room was clean beforehand. Didn't catch her name when she said it. Recommended some good places to eat and gave me a menu to their restaurant. The restaurant was wonderful and food was good, a little loud in there but what can you do. Needed to grab some extra towels and the evening receptionist was nice, too. She was very helpful. Forgot her name, too.

Beware Veterans and service dog owners! I'm a disabled retired military veteran and I travel frequently and always with my service animal. My dog is a 6-year-old German Shepherd and trained for service. Whenever I Check into a motel I always disclose my service dog and did so on the night of August 24th when I arrived late and with my service dog. I told the clerk at the counter that I had a service dog with me and I booked a room. Before retiring that night I walked my dog and stopped back into the office with my dog. I was acknowledged and complimented on my dog. Afterwards when checking my credit card statement I saw that this hotel charged me $175 for a pet clean up fee. I always check my rooms before I leave for any items left unattended. My room was clean other than a disheveled bed. I contacted the hotel as well as Choice Motel with no resolution. I'm out $175 but I won't be silent.

Accessible parking, updated deco, plenty of eatery round, comfortable bed and pillows. Yes, there are few small stains or chips on the wall that shows the age of the property. Even though the location is near Interstate, it is pretty quiet. Complimentary breakfast has all the basic, and hot entrees like egg, sausage link, Biscuit and gravy. Check in staff is very friendly and courteous. Overall it is a good deal for its price.

We stayed at several hotels on our travels and if you go online to book your room, you get a better rate I think after our online deal reservation, we paid 60 a night our room is right in front of the swimming pool which has been crystal clear every time we come fresh hot breakfast every morning for the price and location which is right off the interstate exit. I don’t think that there is a better deal

Just stayed for the night. Bed was exceptional, clean, good water pressure and the pillows were perfect!

Our room was very nice. The whirlpool bath experience is definitely worth getting the suite. Friendly staff, clean room, and a good tasty breakfast selection made for a very pleasant stay.

Not a bad place to stay, just not as nice as advertised. Kudos to the photographer. I wouldn't suggest staying with children, as the lobby has a restaurant with a bar attached to it, that stays open until midnight. It's a dry county, so it stays busy! Otherwise not a bad place to stay.

Very nice rooms, the beds are very comfortable. Nice and clean. Even being by the highway the room was quiet! Will definetly recommend if you are looking for an affordable stay.

Worst stay in any hotel I have ever been in..!! It was Horrible the room had roaches in it and smelled like cat urine. The mattress was so stained with urine, blood and what looked like feces that the manager had to mattress the next day. We had to wipe everything down ourselves due to the lack of cleaning. Shower had stains on the bottom of the tub. The room was poorly maintained, breakfast was not served. They had an excuse for everything. Don't spend your money on this Hotel! Worst nights sleep ever!

I booked this hotel because of the pool. On my booking I even noted, and messaged the location, concerning the fact we selected them for the pool and we intended to use the pool lounge furniture. I even requested a room as close to the pool as possible. The pool was discussed! The convieniate room was provided upon arriving, but after they had my money, I was notified the pool was closed. Duped plain and simple. But I did have my room right off the pool. We will not return to Clarion Hotels without a correction of some sort. The cleaning crew will start opening your door about 8 ish to hurry you along on your check out morning.

We had a wonderful time here! The rooms are very clean! The people that work there are more than nice! The lounge and restaurant are a great reward to the motel! The best thing was the pool very big and clean! We will be back!!!!

Drama-free check in! Room was clean, modern, and quiet. Restaurant on-site served delicious food and drinks at very reasonable prices. Will definitely refer to visiting family and friends! Thank you for the top-notch hospitality!

Nice place .I gave only one star off because the lost my reservation .the young man working the desk was super sweet and helpful though. I work for a hotel myself so trust when I say that the rooms are clean and the place is bang for your buck . Oh don't use the laundry room .it's in need of some work but they have a workout room and nice clean pool so they make up for the small things . I do recommend the place .even the day clerk was super sweet and all smiles and that is important to. Thank you for being a great location

The front desk attendant Mrs.Saturn is very rude. She had an attitude from the beginning. I had a reservation for almost a week. I showed up the day of and she caught an attitude with me and even though I stayed polite, she kept giving attitude. Then she canceled my reservation and added me to the do not rent list. It was wrong of her to do that since she was the only one that had an attitude. I did not engage but I get punished for her behavior. I’m traveling for work and from a different state. Had to find another hotel on short notice for the night.

Checked in by: Saturn Checked out by: Saturn Overall stay: very pleasant, nice room, clean bed, cold A/C, pool was immaculate, super clean, no bugs in the room despite having a direct door to the outside, TV didn't work but the receptionist came down within 5 minutes and fixed it for me, little noisy outside due to the highway (there is no fixing that obviously), both receptionist girls were funny and very kind. Was worried coming in because of a few bad reviews I saw but it wasn't at all how they said it would be. Complaint: breakfast could use some bacon, and I wish I could take it to my room. However, I'm sure keeping it in the lobby is how they keep the rooms bug free. Also be prepared to have the wheelchair man talk your ear off, he is very nice but will not be quiet for longer that five minutes. VERY pleasant hotel.

Mixed feelings on this one. All looked good when I entered the room. When I pulled the covers back, I found a bit of a nacho chip. Looking closer, it was clear the sheets hadn’t been changed. Front desk clerk was helpful and apologetic. Housekeeping was gone for the day, but she provided clean sheets, which I changed myself. No other complaints. The restaurant and bar on site get an A plus. I would come back here. Popular stop for truck drivers, and I am one.

The room is clean. I have a service dog so we have a pet friendly room. It was just average hotel room. The ac worked. The refrigerator chilled the drinks perfectly. This is an older Motel that has been remodeled. The bedding was clean and nicely made. They are on the “we’ll clean your room upon request” plan. We are only staying 2 nights so it is not needed. No mold or mildew. It smelled clean. For hotel rating my SO would give it a 2.5. I give it higher here because of it’s cleanliness and location
