The staff there is extremely rude and I hate that they don't have name tags I would've liked to call out the lady who mistreated us. Pool was dirty, you could never survive a day visit there it's so dull. I regret visiting that place

We stayed there during a weekend and were so disappointed in everything. Firstly after arriving we got to our rooms and noticed how dirty and smelly the bathroom was. There was no hand soap and the shower floor was very disturbing. After a few we noticed how dusty the floor of the bedroom was - having walked barefoot around the room, the amount of dust under my foot was alarming. On our last morning we woke up with everything in our cooler boxes STOLEN. Food and drinks. When we requested a search from reception and the security we were told no one knows anything and that everyone had been searched. The service was extremely underwhelming and the cherry on the cake is the fact that it is not safe. I would advise people to look for accommodation elsewhere, you never know what you will get from the place.

I couldn't get much sleep because of the noise that was going on by the pool, music being played at a very high volume until after 11PM. The breakfast was just a waist of time and money. I wouldn't recommend anyone to book here unless the owners change their service.

Receptionist Pearl had an attitude. Was booked in for 2 nights. 2 and 3 Dec 2022. Friday night was ok. Saturday there was a function. The people carried on screaming and yelling and laughing, whistling and playing loud music until 3 sunday morning the 4th of Dec. We did not get sleep at all. We are coming from the hustle and bustle from the city to get some rest and peace then you get this. How can a lodge not look out for everyone staying there. I can understand the party but why not come and say ok people its after 22.00. Or 23.00, Please quiet down, or turn down the music,there are also other people staying here. Rules are not applied at all. The only person who actually cared and was friendly and listened to our grievances Was the security guard, oldish madala at the gate. I couldnt complain to anyone from the lodge because no one was found at reception sunday morning. Pathetic.

Stayed there 15 - 17 April and the service there was horrible. 1. The rooms were so stuffy, like they hadn't been cleaned it aired in ages. 2. The pool was dirty, full of leaves and the receptionist said she didn't know when the pool guy would come in to clean it. 3. The rooms don't have basic stuff you would expect to find at a self catering place such as microwave, plates or cutlery. 4. Our rooms weren't cleaned after the 1st night and the receptionist said I was supposed to leave the keys at reception for them to clean which was never mentioned to me upon check-in. 5. The main number used for the lodge rings at a different hotel and they give out a cellphone number which gets switched off at 4pm when the receptionist knocks off, no other way of getting in touch with the lodge staff after hours. 6. The staff there is just plain rude. Don't think I'll be going back there

A place that needs a little tlc is this one the pool need to be cleaned

The service was terrible and even checked in at 16h30,the swimming pool was dirty and even in the rooms the were not even glasses and reception staff seems not to care when we reported the matter

Great stay. Bathrooms are very small but had a good rest waking up to the sound and air of the bush.

Stunning place just a pity some guests had parties until 2am in the morning and left the place filthy.

Ananda its fine and nice quite place i can visit there again just that they need to clean theire room always not when they only have visitors

This thing of two single beds being called a double bed is a scam. Kettle was dirty. Curtains don't have lace. No microwave. No plates or cutlery. This place is kak. Never coming here again. To think this is a sister company of the great Royal Marang 🙄

Well, some of the staff are really trying hard. But unfortunately the whole place seems to be run like a non functioning government department. Depends on your tolerance levels, the place has a certain charm, you could stay over if you needed to.

The place it's very nice but so disappointed with the rooms. No bar fridge, no microwave, there's no enough plugs. The receptionist are also bad they take their own time and there's just a mix up of stuff there. But the place it's nice. I will recommend it for day visits.

The lodge is beautiful. Great yard and facilities that were available. The receptionists were helpful and really kind. I enjoyed a portion of my stay there. The room are very big and spacious but there were bugs on the beds, which is understandable because the roof is thetched and obviously no ceilings. Breakfast was the worst. There was hardly and food left and i went there at 9. There was no juice as well, just the normal tea and coffee, not all tables were set had complete cutlery. I was disappointed. The breakfast was also very limited and not a vast choice to at least have a satisfactory meal was there, even if their buffet was replenished.

Sometime a person just wants to break away from busy life, this is the place to be, enjoy the swimming pool and nature at its best

We went there on 31st December 2021. The staff is rude, from security to the receptionists. We had the worst experience, never ever going there again
