    It's a very good place for home and garden things. They have anything you could possibly need for Inside the house! They have outdoor stuff too, like Grills, plants and flowers, garden tools, etc. If you're building a house or something, I totally recommend this place!

    Bought a gas trimmer yesterday and in the 10min we used it the thing seemed like it was struggling to even just cut the grass, and ended up stalling on us. Then we discovered the area right around the ripcord got so hot you could barely touch it to restart the thing. Tried to return, and told only option was to call in for repair, well with that many issues in 10 minutes, we didn't want repair we just didn't want the thing. No dice, this is ridiculous... We'll just take the extra half hour drive to home depot over in Monroe from now on.

    Absolutely ridiculous to stand at the paint counter for over 30 minutes. While employees walk around and look lost at their own job. Ask for help & no one can seem to find the only person that knows how to mix paint. As a fellow store manager my suggestion is have more than 1 employee trained on each department so you don’t run Into this issue with other customers. We left without paint and won’t be coming back.

    We ordered a stove a month ago and it was suppose to be delivered the following tuesday...that Tuesday came and they said "it wasn't in and it will be delivered the next tuesday" ...that Tuesday came and the called and said " it's not in yet maybe next tuesday"....that tuesday came and still not in....skip to the following tuesday and they said it would be in the following Wednesday and they would make a special delivery that day since they usually don't deliver on wednesday....here we are Wednesday and haven't heard a work....so we call the Lowes store in Ruston, LA and the manager said he didn't know why it wasn't delivered....thats it...he just didn't know and didn't even act like he cared to find out....so we cancelled our order will no longer do our business there....

    I like to go to this location because it's easy to get in and out after getting what you need. Another plus it's close to Walmart dollar 25 tree and Whataburger.

    All in all the store is great but they have outside sources stocking some shelves and the price tags aren't correct. Some lumber wasn't in the correct place. This caused me to carry lumber back and forth across the whole store. Set me back about 15 minutes. I still would recommend this store.

    Helpful friendly staff throughout the store, until you get to the checkout. If you go through self checkout there are usually 4-5 employees standing at the front of the store laughing and joking amongst themselves who look at you as if you are wrong for asking for assistance. How dare you break up their social hour?

    The Lowes in Ruston La is excellent! Staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Unlike Monroe Lowes where we were told in order to purchase the floor display we had to tear it down, pack it up and take it to our car and at full price! We left thr Monroe Store and drove to Ruston. Kudos Ruston Lowes for caring about your customers!

    Over the years, I’ve written letters to several managers stating that there are 6 or 7 employees in the store that are helpful, knowledgeable, courteous, and act like they really want to be there. The remainder, not so much. No reply from any manager. Those of us who are in the store on a regular basis know exactly who these people are and if we need help, those are to whom we go. Otherwise we just leave and go someplace elsewhere.

    I recently lost a receipt on a capital purchase made a year ago and needed it for proof of purchase for warranty work. When I tried to recover it at your store, I was told I had to contact Lowe’s Corporate which I did on 4 occasions. On 3 of them, I was told that the receipt would be sent within 30 days. It wasn’t. On the 4th occasion, I was told to contact my local Lowes as they had access to the receipt. Finally, I contacted Oliver for assistance. Although he had some difficulty, he produced the receipt in about a week. Although I hesitated to trouble him, I needed the receipt and knew he could and would help. The reason I knew this is that I am in your store at least weekly if not daily and he has helped me and numerous others. He is that rare employee who recognizes the worth of the customer while being equally mindful of his responsibility to his employer. Oliver is held in high esteem by your commercial and non- commercial customers and the above is one of the reasons.

    Shopped online delivery of freezer was promo and delivery guys were very professional. I purchased a refrigerator and had delivered to west Monroe same service as previous. Happy !

    Customer Services is really nice and tries to accommodate, but clearly the delivery service is unorganized and needs to have a class on how to keep customers informed. I ordered appliances for my home and they were supposed to arrive on a Sunday from 4-8pm. The delivery never came and because it was after 8pm, the store was already closed. I called early the next morning and it took 30 minutes to get a hold of someone because no one was answering the phone. Once I got a hold of somebody, they told me the truck had already left and there was nothing they could do. If my stuff was not delivered yesterday, then shouldn’t it be on the delivery queue for today? They gave me a 10% discount for the inconvenience, which I was grateful for. I had to reschedule it for Wednesday because that was their earliest day. Come Wednesday, they are supposed to deliver my order from 4-8pm. I call around 7pm to make sure the deliver is on his way and they say “The delivery truck is still out so he should be on his way.” I get a text message saying the delivery was heading its way towards me. Perfect! I go make some dinner and realize I have a miss call 4 minutes ago so I call back twice, to which I was met with no answer. They also did not leave a voicemail. I call customer services again and ask if the delivery is still on its way, the answer is “The delivery truck is already back at the store.” Seriously? The lady was really nice but clearly the delivery department needs learn how to communicate with their customers better, and not wait till last minute to try to tell their customers their delivery is not able to make it. This should have been delivered the first time with no problems.

    Lowe's is a wonderful experience. Going here reminds me of reading Marcel Proust. I feel I'm searching for lost time. Everyone is so helpful. Unlike Walmart which is like reading Faulkner but in a language that is indecipherable.

    For the most part, you get what you need there. Sometimes, there's issues with them being out of product, and you have to go to the Monroe store to get it. They also have staffing problems where it's hard to find people to help you at times. Aside from those two issues, I have enjoyed shopping there.

    Very poor customer service Ordered washing machine Delivered Side and front smashed in Called Monday associate told me lowes would pick up unit Thursday never showed up Called Lowes (one hour on the phone) Lowes had no record that theywhere picking up damaged unit New unit was suppose to be delivered Friday Lowes had no record I guess my call Monday was for nothing I may have purchased a $1000 wash machine from Lowes But Lowe S will never sell me another appliance I don’t know how they stay in business with this poor Of customer servicr

    Best service we have ever had at Lowes today in the garden department. Lovely people. Went to Lowes for some lemon grass and a few other things. Husband and I both visited the restrooms and they were filthy. No soap to wash your hands. They had no checkers to check you out. Had to go to self check out which I despise. Come on Lowes you can do better.

    I HIGHLY recommend Lowes in Ruston. I live in El Dorado, went yesterday and bought a refrigerator after mine went out Wednesday. Ice maker not in stock but to be delivered later and installed. They promised fridge delivery today 2-6. Drivers called 45 minutes out and were here about 1:45! A black fridge was sent rather than white but one phone call to store got confirmation to keep the black until white could be delivered. Customer service at the store, during the decision making, purchase, delivery and problem solving was INCREDIBLE! Cudos, THANK YOUS, and much appreciation to everyone I came in contact with. Made a stressful situation of no fridge so much better Thank you Clay and Jim in store, delivery men, delivery supervisor and office gentleman for making this a ‘pain free’ experience!!

    It was a little hard to get waited on, considering that we had already picked out a major appliance and just needed someone to complete the order. We kept asking for help from anyone who passed by and finally got one of the two appliance department people to understand we weren't just browsing. After that it was easy.
