    30 mins to get a half sandwich and half salad…when asked about the delay…I was told only 1 person working the line…so my question: what are the other six plus ppl I can see from the ordering counter doing? No reply…when I requested the manager..got the same response. I wasn’t the only person waiting on food today! Won’t go back there anytime soon

    They get orders wrong so often that it seems like they're making sandwiches up on the spot. The last time we ordered, they gave us a moldy sandwich and didn't respond to us when we filed a complaint.

    Stopped during travel from Ruston, LA to St.Louis, MO. Order two sandwiches with tea to go. The tea came out in a kids cup because no larger cups were available. In addition, took 45 minutes to bring food out! Slow as southern molasses BUT staff reflected southern hospitality. The reason for one star service is it added 45 minutes to an 11 hour trip.

    Guy who took my order looked like he hated his life hated being there made me extremely uncomfortable I forgot to add a different flavor and lemon ran to the restroom asked my husband if he could add them my husband said 3 words “Can so add…” before the same guy cut him off and said no you can’t add anything after you’ve ordered? I’m sorry since when? Huge McAlister’s fan this is the first time I’ve ever had the worst experience ever .

    Stopped at this deli on our way back home. The food is of high quality and the service is good. The only negative was the fact that they were out of avocado for a salad that has avocado as a listed ingredient.

    My sandwich was supposed to be hot ham and Swiss, it was cold and stale. My Mac and cheese was old scorched and over cooked till it was mushy. Did not get the tea I asked for. The people had no knowledge of what they were serving nor how to make drinks. Paid 40 dollars for horrible food for me and wife. Never will I visit again ruston louisiana. I recommend NOTHING...

    Who asks you to tip before they make your food? McAlister's does. And I truly believe this had an effect on the quality of food I received because I did not tip them . My 6 inch sub actually was a 4.5 inch sub...I was warned , but I wanted to find out for myself. Don't waste your time or money.

    Loud vulgar music. The employees were rude and totally unprepared to start the day. They acted like they didn't like each other and as if I was inconvenient. Took 40 minutes to get 3 Reubens and 3 cups of soup. I doubt I'll go back.

    Didn’t know that when you ordered sides, you don’t actually get them. Hope the workers in the back had a decent deal. BF told me he never receives his sides when he goes. The one sandwich I got was cold even though I ordered inside the restaurant and waited for it to be done.

    We were hesitant to go here because of some of the reviews, but the food was GREAT and the service was efficient and very patient for being understaffed and just finishing a lunch rush. Big shout out to Cornell who waited on us. He went above and beyond and all with a smile. We thanked him before we left, and he said, "It's my pleasure - as long as the customer is happy is what matters." ❤️ You don't see this mindset a lot anymore.

    $16 for a tiny French dip sandwich and chips...then almost 30 minutes to get the food to table. Ridiculous. Did somebody forget to tell these employees this is basically a fast food restaurant?! Didn't get offered a refill while at the table. The absolute gall of these people to offer a space to give a tip when paying for the order before service. Usually a fan of McAlister's, won't be back to this location though.

    There were several DIRTY tables with dirty dishes and food left on them. I noticed about 4 people just standing in the back. When we talked to the manager on duty, he said they were “short staffed”, but there was a girl at the counter and at least 4 just standing around. My husband and I both got grilled chicken salads. Mine with Ranch and his with Chipotle Ranch. The salads were subpar. They looked pretty, but the vegetables were not the freshest. The cucumbers were cut in big chunks and no knives were given or available to help me cut my salad up. We could tell the chicken was just something out of a bag. We also got a plate of nachos. When they were brought out to us, the cheese was in one spot on top, and there were a bunch of broken chips. The cheese didn’t even cover the chips. My husband did complain because the plate of nachos was almost $9. The manager did send out more cheese dip for us. For that I was grateful. Of course, the cheese dip is your regular Velveeta and Rotel dip, but I like that, so I was fine with it. There were no napkins on our table. My husband had to get up and get his own refill. Again, there were employees just standing around. After I asked the manager about getting someone to clean the tables, he did send someone to pick up the dishes from the tables right around me. They never came back to wipe the tables down or sanitize them. One customer near me remarked, “This is the worst restaurant in town.”

    Serving size was very small in the cup of Broccoli Cheddar soup. And it was very thin. Sandwich half was small also. They ran my card twice, it said approved with a check mark but the cashier said it errored out. We finally paid cash. Cashier was not quite rude but maybe a little curt.

    Adrienne took our order but it was wrong so we corrected her with the drinks. She got an attitude after that. I still left a tip after that attitude she had. Mind you we were in line for a long time. Still waiting once our food came to our table we were short one whole sandwich and the order was wrong yet again. The girl who brought the food out must have been new because she didn’t know anything.All said and done after a long wait of one hour we decided to get a refund left the untouched food. Oh and a homeless man was asking for money while the girl the employee was standing next to us and said nothing to him. I would give this place a zero star.

    The Manager Tunisha is beyond unprofessional and instructs her staff to cut back on the amount of product they customers pay for. Today, I paid for a bowl of soup and received a half cup of soup. After arriving home, I called the stored and the manager informed me the amount of ounces in each cup, told me I received the correct product, and offered to give me another 3.5 ounces of soup instead of replacing my order. The manager then began to insult me and told me that my complaints will arrive back to her. I'll be sharing this experience with all who will listen. I've been supporting this restaurant (paying over $20) each meal ticket twice each week and I will no longer be returning until something happens to this unprofessional manager who has been managing (according to her) apparently for 25 years. Worst customer service ever from a manager.

    Person at register looked confused. We asked for our tea and she said we didn’t order any! We did! She said we didn’t pay for it duh… we paid for it separately. Almost all tables were dirty and not cleaned off. Two of us sat at a large table.

    Normally I love this but their customer services has just been awful! So I went their a little earlier 10 25 but they open at 10 30. I asked them when will they be open. They told me in 5 minutes so I waited the few minutes came back in she told me it would be another 6 minutes because they are on a diff time that runs slow? That's fine and all but telling it will be open in a few minutes but not actually opening is very not cool. You should have just told me you won't be open tell way later because you running behind instead of having me wait

    Got the New Steak & Peppers sandwich. It barely had steak on it and only two pieces of bell pepper. I returned it for a refund. They didn't have the side I wanted. The manager seemed mad that the order was returned. I've visited this location before but never again.

    Messed up about 5 things on a 3 person order with only 1 substitution. Only ever have 1 flavor of chips despite advertising like 5. The food they do give you is cooked fine but what good is it when 30% of your order is missing? Icing on the cake: the tea is 3 dollars.

    Always hits the spot. Food was great until I need to use the restroom. No toilet paper. No soap. What restaurant doesn't clean the bathrooms everyday. I don't think it was checked for at least a week because the 2 industrial rolls were empty. Had to resort to the paper towels. Good fast food but the staff needs to attend to that bathrooms.
