It
was
a
stay
of
2
nights
and
3
days.
As
for
the
sea,
it
seems
that
it
was
a
little
muddy
due
to
the
typhoon,
but
I
still
thought
it
was
beautiful
(personally),
so
I
would
like
to
visit
this
place
again
if
I
have
the
chance.

"Akasaki
Promenade"...You
can
get
there
in
about
15
minutes
from
the
bus
stop
at
Yotchare
Center
(near
Kozu
Port).
Because
it
is
surrounded
by
rocky
areas,
there
is
no
sand
floating
around,
and
the
water
is
highly
transparent.
There
is
also
a
diving
board,
and
if
you
go
a
little
deeper,
you
can
see
small
fish
and
crabs
on
the
reef
where
people
can
get
off
like
a
tide
pool.

"Maehama
Beach"...A
beach
that
stretches
right
next
to
Kozu
Port.
It's
a
good
place
to
play
as
there
are
lots
of
people
and
shops
nearby,
but
when
we
went
there,
the
waves
were
strong
due
to
the
typhoon,
and
the
sand
was
flying
around
in
the
water,
making
it
look
muddy.
It
was
a
shame.
When
I
talk
to
island
residents,
they
say
that
they
can
usually
see
through
the
water
very
clearly.
If
sand
gets
into
your
swimsuit,
you
should
use
the
coin
shower
located
next
to
the
store.

``Fishing''...The
photo
seems
to
be
of
a
fish
called
Ojisan.
I
went
with
a
group
of
people
who
were
not
familiar
with
fishing
at
all,
but
we
managed
to
catch
some
fish
like
this.
The
location
is
the
embankment
near
Yocchare
Center.
You
can
often
catch
spiny
lobsters,
but
be
careful
as
individuals
are
apparently
prohibited
from
using
them
for
personal
use
due
to
local
ordinances.

``About
the
food''...This
photo
is
of
the
``boiled
set
meal''
served
at
a
facility
called
Yocchare
Center
near
Kozu
Port.
There
must
have
been
other
menu
items
such
as
``Zukedon
Set
Meal'',
``Sashimi
Set
Meal'',
``Fish
Curry
Set
Meal'',
and
``Ginger
Yaki
Set
Meal''.
Although
there
are
dining
facilities
on
Kozushima,
there
are
some
that
you
can
only
go
to
if
you
make
a
reservation,
so
be
sure
to
check
them
out.
(It's
probably
okay
to
not
do
this
here.)
