Normally, when you think of a gymnasium, you imagine a large box with a vaulted roof, but by burying it underground, you can create a gentle space that blends in with the park and the city without feeling oppressive. Both the egg-shaped exterior and the undulating interior walls gave a sense of free fluidity. Part of the ground of the large park is actually the roof edge of a building.

It's a nice gym. There is a pool, gym, etc., and the rooftop is a lawn garden, so you can relax and relieve stress. I was told that you can use it even if you are not a resident of Suginami Ward. The idea of ​​bicycle storage is also unique. Also, there's a cafe, so I thought I'd come back next time.

The only downside to this facility is the limited parking space. Visitors often use paid parking nearby, but there is plenty of parking for motorcycles and bicycles, and access by two-wheeled vehicles is convenient. Equipped with a pool and multifunctional gymnasium, the Omiya-mae Gymnasium is a valuable facility for the local community, meeting a variety of needs, including swimming for parents and children, sports with friends, and martial arts practice. This is a beautiful facility, but unfortunately the staff from Konami Sports Center were very rude and unfriendly. According to the receptionist, they only allow people who are from Konami Sports Club to hold fitness classes here even though it's a community gym where you can rent rooms by the hour. The receptionist's unhelpful attitude made me never want to return or use the facilities. (My visit was on 5/28, in the afternoon, by the way). I'm not sure why places paid for with my tax money are being run by a private company...poorly. Please train your staff and make sure this facility represents the needs of the community, not a corporation.

Nice local fitness centre. Very affordable and plenty of options for classes at nights. The pool is great although you'll be disappointed if you want to record laps, etc with a watch as no jewellery allowed

The area around the gymnasium is laid out in a grid pattern, making it a great area for walking. Today, the 17th, some stores were closed, and the gymnasium was lonely due to the coronavirus pandemic.

There are a plenty of exercise machines that I want. Treadmill, stationary bike, bench, barbell, dumbbell, Smith machine etc... the equipments are several though Smith machine is only one. Service charge is ￥400 per time in unlimited. If u dont know how to use them, Assistants would actually demonstrate.Dony worry about it. There are a couple of vending machines and convenience store close to the center. u could go there by bus from Ogikubo station in 10 min or by foot in 30 min

Google maps says it’s open, but it’s closed. I drove from far away to workout there. Completely wasted my time

We used the gymnasium. I think the facilities are well-equipped and the changing rooms are spacious.

There is a gym and a pool, which I use quite often. There are more people at the pool than I expected even on weekdays. The lifeguards also seemed to be watching closely.
