Nice view of Yokohama. Landmark tower is located next to the station. Many shopping malls are also near by. Good place for shopping and sightseeing together.

we couldn't find any exit for JR Pass ticket at new south gate. it's not friendly for foreigner Travellers.

My favourite station in Japan! JR line and Yokohama subway blue line are here. You can walk around for more than a day, as the area is chock full of restaurants, shopping, and amusements! I usually walk all the way to Yamashita park and back, or head off to Chinatown or Motomachi. I walk a lot, so it might be a bit much for some people, especially is you are out of shape. Not as crowded as Tokyo, and many wide open spaces!

Our home base during our 10 day Japan trip! We love Yokohama. Peaceful and not congested... We'll be back. ❤️

One of the busy station in Yokohama. Fully crowded by tourists and office workers. This station is surrounded by many tourist attractions - Yokohama air cabin, cup noodles museum, many shopping malls , red brick house, landmark building, amusement park. Negishi line, Yokohama subway blue line trains available from here. Station in one of the most happening part of the city.

Transit stop for the JR Yokohama Line and Yokohama Blue Line subway. Convenient access to Cross Gate New Otani Hotel and the Yokohama Sky Cabin.

Close to the APA hotel so made traveling super easy. Definitely suggest getting the JR pass if you're a tourist to make traveling affordable and easy

If you visiting Japan, you may want to visit Yokohama city. this is the best JR station that you can start you tour there. it is the closest station near the Yokohama Land Mark Tower and Nippon Maru Memorial park . also you can find some historical places and building and old Yokohama harbor near this station. you will enjoy visiting Yokohama by visiting Mitsubishi Minatomirai Industrial Museum and other beautiful places.

I stayed here for like 9 months... This has been a great experience... Very clean organized place... Nice ramen noodles available at the chitetsu entrance.
