The AC in the whole hotel was broken for our whole stay, there are several large holes in the sheetrock/ceiling on the 5th floor, we were told to open our window but there was not screen to prevent bugs and misquotes from flying in, the tub is a half ovule. The issues with the shower are not related to the tub alone, it extends to the water pressures plus maintaining a constant temperature. You would think that is where the problems with the hotel would but they don’t. The dead bolt on our door was jammed open and our lights made a loud hum.

This hotel is OK if you are passing by and do not need to stay more than a night. Otherwise I would recommend to look somewhere else. The air conditioning in the room was not properly functioning and when reception was told of the situation they simply said it took long to get to work. And the breakfast had a limited choice and not great quality. It is ok for a night. That's all we stayed.

It is fairly well situated to spend the night at while on the Camino. The rooms are fairly large. My room did have a desk which was very nice but unfortunately the Wi-Fi did not meet the needs to work remotely. .

Our impression was the food was typical or slightly better than average European breakfasts. Fruit was excellent, good breads plus eggs. Coffee machine worked well. Dinner wa great. We struggle in Spain and Portugal as we are vegetarians. Rissoto with mushrooms was excellent and the soup as well. Lava cake with strawberry ice cream with a side of Port topped of a great dinner. Staff was friendly and attentive.

We were a big group trekking in the area. 49 people. Reception was perfect, kind and efficient. That's all. Buffet dinners and breakfast were very so-so, and besides too late! Food mediocre. Terrible coffee, no green tea, never enough hot water, coffee machine broken, etc. I only liked some sponge cakes and other sweet desserts they made like the apple pie...
