Poor expérience. No workflow. Everything and nothing is allowed. Sad . 6 flights a day: lisbon, libreville Malabo, luanda and principe . Dutyfree is expensive amd does not take credit card. Pure money laundering scheme.

Airport is quite small. Very small indeed compared to other international airports. The behaviour of some staff marred a wonderful experience on the Island. Information flow is bad and it gets worse when there is language barrier. You may have to cry your way out if you find yourself in trouble. But with all of these there are other nice people who will be willing to help you. The only problem is mostly their level of clearance is not high enough to get you the needed assistance.

The airport does the job and even though too small to accommodate the travellers on wide body aircraft, it is satisfactory when everything goes to plan. It is when things go wrong that its lack of comfort and poor communication become a burden. From a safety point of view, it is not up to standard. Also not the best organised but relax, take it easy and all will be fine.

Ridiculously bad organised! Transatlantic flights are too big for such a small place and such a bag management. You need only local currency for the coffee inside, POS is not working. Waiting area is much smaller than airport’s needs.

Nice and small airport but terrible experience. First you line up for covid check, then passport control, and then at the exit you line up to get your bag checked. The passport check line was about 30 minutes wait even when I was one of the first to leave the aircraft. Only one person on duty. Also very hard to get a taxi. Absolute mayhem in front of the terminal building and when you find one, they will probably ask €10 for a 2km ride. Very wild experience.

Very basic, check in is a nightmare. Small shop thorough customs with some basic products.

Tiny airport quite fast and comfortable when you arrive and completely nightmare at the departure. Passport control simply doesn't work, 2 girls are not able neither to read not to write. The flight to Lisboa was about to delay due to their work. I quied in the line without any place to seat 1,5 hours unbelievable! No fresh air . The departure really spoiled a nice impression of the island

Nice and calm. Friendly staff. Very courteous and welcoming. Just give Sao Tome a go. It's only an hour and a half from Accra. Beautiful scenery more like Cape coast

Awful. To book in for the flight to Lisbon, first we queued in a tent, then outdoors then in a very hot and sticky booking-in area. It took over 2 hours. Toilets are filthy. Not enough seats in departure lounge but it is air conditioned. The airport did cope well with the 19 seater flight to Principe. If the island wants to be serious about tourism then the airport needs to improve.

They are a bit corrupt. Asked me for $20 "Visa fee" even though I am visa-free. But the airport is alright and employees are mostly ok.

Chaos at the very beginning both arriving and departing. Immigration can't cope with the volume of the international flight and spend hours filling in forms by hand for each passenger. Leaving is just as chaotic, there is usually a crowd of people outside the terminal building with seemingly no reason to be there. You need your passport to be allowed to enter the building and be prepared for a long wait with no air con. Departure gate has not enough seats. Take small denominations in currency to buy water as the overpriced shop can't offer you change.
