Good beach for a swim although there are a lot of rocks underwater near shoreline. Also looks possible for offshore snorkeling but water was not clear when I visited. There is a mild surf with an occasional crashing wave so definitely a cool place for a beach day. Not much shade on the beach itself but a bit higher up where you can park a car there is some. However, the area above the beach is not well maintained. Also road to beach area has some bad spots but should be manageable to get there in most cars. Enjoy...
