Very good little museum. Good presentation of past and present problems with global coffee production and trade. So good to also understand how coffee is used locally

Very interesting museum. The history and also the process of making coffee is very well explained. Super friendly staff! And of course there is a tasting at the end. We absolutely recommend.

Diving in history is a must have to understand how it was 100 years ago and how it is now... a bit worse. Very friendly people, nice place to learn about historical realities. A must visit if you like history.

Locals have preserved traces of Roça and machinery. Theres a taste of a coffee at beginning and a small tour of the place.

One of the highlights of my trip was a trip to Monte Cafe (coffee mountain). It's a brief tour, but you can say an enjoy delicious coffee. I suggest the Robusto.

It was beautiful. Getting to know stuff about how coffee is done in Sao Tome during historical and modern periods. It's a good initiative to have converted part of the coffee shop into a museum. However maintaining the place is key to attract visitors and generate income.

(Translated by Google) The guide explained to us in very fluent English all the work that the coffee bean goes through before it is ground. It was a very interesting visit. The cost is € 3 or 75 Dbs per person. At the end of the explanation there is the opportunity to taste the coffee and buy it.

This is a museum where you can learn more about coffee(Monte cafe means "coffee mountain" in Portuguese). In particular, we will discuss the entire process of coffee production, from harvest to the final product. The entrance fee is 3 EUR. Trekking route learn about coffee - Monte Cafe(Restaurant, Museum) -> Bemposta(Washer and dryer) -> Novo Destino(Plantations). It takes about 3 hours. If you need, the guide fee is 40 EUR. The scale is small, so don't expect too much. To get here, take a taxi (yellow shared bus, 40 Db).

Friendly and good guide. Good to visit when you're in Sao Tome. Used to be the largest Roca of the island.
