Lovely restful location and just a short walk to the 'beach'. Great room facilities and an amazing breakfast that changes each day makes this an easy place to recommended. The shop on the other side of the courtyard has a fantastic butchers and they do prepare some meals to take away, so well worth checking out if you want some lunch / dinner in the room.

We loved our stay. The quiet surroundings, the beautiful landscape and the boutique and butcher on site make this a must-visit. The city of Sønderborg is only 10 minutes away. The care with which the rooms have been furnished is amazing. Our breakfast was a spread of deliciousness and large pot of coffee together with freshly pressed apple juice. If you are looking for the famous Danish hygge, then this place epitomises it. The owner is an inspirational woman who is a lover of history and the finer things in life. You will not want to leave (and be sure to peruse the boutique and butcher before you do). We are already planning how soon we can come back...

Very friendly staff, beautiful quiet location outside the city, near a nice forest. Really good breakfast, differs from day to day. Single beds, not the best for couples. Beds are pretty soft, too soft for us, but of course that's just taste.

Clean, comfortable and peaceful country side hotel. Friendly and helpful staff (they speak also English). I strongly recommend this hotel if you enjoy peace and if you can reach the location.
