Chanced upon this restaurant through Google reviews and it is exactly what the others said. Owner was very friendly and able to converse in English, food was delicious and price is reasonable. It is located slightly away from the main Sapa Town so it was more peaceful and quiet which we enjoyed. It was 5 min walk from where we stayed at Pistachio Hotel. As we were still full from a heavy lunch, ordered lesser grilled eggplant, chicken with honey on hot plate, fried water cress and our all time favourite Sapa fried spring rolls. We had hot tea to end the meal and the bill came up to 350k VND. We finished everything and was very satisfied. Will definitely recommend and will certainly go again. Authentic Vietnamese food in peaceful and clean setting that we feel safe and comfortable to enjoy our meal.

We had a wonderful experience here. Our waiter, Vehn, was extremely friendly and helpful towards us. We ordered the salmon & pork hotpot, which she helped us cooked and explained all the ingredients to us. The restaurant also offered us unlimited vegetables and free pineapples. The food is delicious and affordable, highly recommended for everyone!

Bumped into this little restaurant after deciding against visiting the restaurants I previously flagged on google maps. Glad we did! Delicious pumpkin soup. Super impressed by the food and of course the incredible mountain view. The service was a little lack lustre but the girl who served us was quite young- perhaps a family run business. Would definitely return.

We had a superb meal here followed by very friendly service and very well priced. We opted for all vegetarian dishes so we started with the vegetable soup which was very tasty, followed by stir fried vegetables and mushrooms and vegetable spring rolls. All was cooked perfectly and very tasty. We were also given a plate of sliced pineapple after our meal which was complimentary. Highly recommend

The owners are very friendly, kind and they can speak English. We came back again the next day to eat salmon hot pot and local hot wines (apple & plum). First day we have grilled sturgeon and grilled pork with honey with local hot wine (apple). Everything taste really good here!! Highly recommend to eat here if travel to Sa Pa. We will definitely come back again if we come to Sa Pa.

We are familly with 2 teenagers (my husband is American). And we came here 3 times because 4 of us love the foods here! Very good food, both western and Vietnamese. The owner can speak English well and so helpful to give us the recommendation. Reasonable price compare to the other restaurant but not street restaurant around center. Must try: sapa spring roll, home made hotpot, salmon. P/s: they have very special plum wine made by the owner (see my picture)

All right, let's get this out of the way: the restaurant is not what I would consider romantic. But then I did not come here for that. When we arrived, we were greeted by extremely friendly and welcoming staff; this would continue the entire three hours we were there (heavy rain prevented us from leaving). We started off with the Sa Pa potato soup and the Sa Pa spring rolls. The soup turned out to be a hearty potato soup with bacon, almost like a German potato soup and something I will come back for once it gets colder. The fried spring rolls were delicious though I am not sure what made them Sa Pa spring rolls; I guess the Chef is from Sa Pa. The grilled salmon was a tad overcooked but very good otherwise. The passion fruit sauce was tangy as it should be and the French fries that came with it were outstanding. The pork with cardamom turned out to be pork on a sizzling iron plate. The meat was tender but keep in mind that this is SE Asian cardamom; do not expect the same taste as say Indian cardamom. Nevertheless, a darn fine meal. Once again, I cannot overstate the helpfulness of the staff. We were there with our little baby and they looked after her wonderfully; to the extent of giving her a rain cape when we finally decided not to wait any longer. I thought value for money was excellent though it is obviously not street food prices (but then is neither the service nor the quality). Certainly recommended.

Great dining experience. Went twice and served by Vuon who's super friendly and speak English well. The first time we had was the salmon hotpot but prepared for some small bones. Is great to have hotpot during the cold weather. The second time we went we had sturgeon fish soup, grilled sturgeon and spring roll. Very nice and yummy too. The fish only have soft bones which can be eaten and highly recommend people to get this fish instead of the salmon if you don't know how to handle bones.

I’d say this is the best meal I had in Sapa for the past 3 days!! Food is tasty (close to Asian taste). Service is excellent! They will checking with you, if you need any other service or top up of steam rice (free). Most importantly, they can communicate well in English.

Lovely restaurant and having hotpot in weather like Sapa is really great. The waitress speaks really good English and explained the menu in detail. Had the salmon hotpot and there's free refill of soup (refreshing sour taste) and vegetables. Also had the spring roll which tasted good too. Ambience was really relaxing

First place we have found in Sapa that is affordable and flavored to our tastes. If we wanted a dish custom made, they were happy to accommodate. I have been disappointed in our meals for the past few days so finding this jem was wonderful. We've eaten here twice and will eat it for brunch prior to heading out tomorrow.

The salmon hot pot was bomb. If you drink, check out the hot local wine, it’s like a warm sangria.

Great staff and great food! They have a lot of local ingredients and condiments, the beef was prepared perfectly and I LOVED their hot wine (made from local wine) - a must try for a cold mountain evening :)

Really friendly staff and awesome food. The pork fried rice, Sapa spring rolls, and sturgeon hotpot were absolutely amazing. The prices are decent. The owner (?)/ server graciously gave us 4 packs of instant noodle after we asked if there's a store in town that we can purchase them (the instant noodles were served as part of the hotpot) .

Had a wonderful dinner for our first night in Sapa! Tried the salmon hotpot and it hearty and delicious, salmon was fresh and generous in portion! Super worth for money and we were served by the lovely staff who gave us tips on how to spend our time in Sapa. For drinks, we had their hot local + dalat wine that was so yummy and perfect in the cold Sapa weather.

It was a rainy day in Sapa. Great day for hotpot and this restaurant serves really good hotpot. We gotten the mixed one and added salmon as well. Tried their homemade peach wine as well. One of the lady said it would be quite strong and gave me a shot to try first. It was indeed strong but delicious. Also had some fried Vietnamese spring rolls. No regrets having a meal here. The staff were really friendly as well. Helping to put in the meat and checking if everything was ok every now and then.

Friendly staff with very decent food at an affordable price. Ordered their salmon hot pot, Sa Pa spring roll, garlic butter French fries and Vietnamese tea. Definitely more than enough for 2 pax. Staff are super friendly, had small talk with them and give us suggestion for places to visit and point us to the nearest super mart. Also, they did mention that the veges and possibly steamed rice for salmon hotpot can be refilled for free! Most importantly the salmon hotpot soup is refreshing and has a unique taste, definitely a must try. Also they gave us free dessert, passion fruit with honey! 100/10 recommended place to visit!!

The food was very tasty. We had vegetable spring rolls and bruschetta toscano. Both were great. Customer service is awesome , there is a slight delay because they use fresh ingredients but it's worth the wait. Amazing place. Definitely worth the try.

Tried horse stir fried with lemongrass and garlic, available only on the vietnamese menu, salmon grilled with a passion fruit aioli, Sapa soup. Food was definitely different from what we usually eat but also really tasty. Staff was amazing with their explanations and they even served us a complimentary dessert of passion fruit with honey

One of the best restaurants we had in Sa Pa. Food is soo good that we order 4 dishes for 2 people. Highly recommend the squid with pineapple. We love the ambience with nice background music. The staff is lovely and always check with us is everything is good. Dessert in the house of passion fruit with honey is a bomb. We love it so much! Will come back the next time we are back in Sa Pa.

The waiter is very polite and will teach you how to eat the salmon hotpot. Suggest you guys to try here as many kinds of food available from local to Western.

If you are in search for hotpot with good flavor profile of the locals I would strongly recommend these guys here! Service wise was not too shabby, as I arrived during dinner crowd so do manage expectations. Other than that, I had the sour soup fish hotpot (mixed of sturgeon and salmon) and my first sip I sunk my mouth into that soup, I just couldn't stop! It was that awesome!

We were looking for salmon hotpot and found the spot! Staff are super friendly, menu is in English and were super attentive. The staff even taught us how to best to cook the salmon and even were it was caught. Veggies also come unlimited with the hotpot.

Very friendly family, food tasted very good and was really fresh. They took care of our needs very well. They even told us that they changed the oil before cooking our food because we are vegetarian, what is very considerable.

Our visit to Moment Romantic Restaurant was truly delightful. We chose the local Salmon Hotpot and were not only treated to its delicious flavors but also shown how to prepare it. The waitstaff were friendly, helpful, and had excellent English skills. Although the portion size was already big enough, we were unlimited to add more fresh herbs and noodles. We highly recommend this restaurant and would gladly return for another enjoyable experience!

One of my favourite restaurants in Sa Pa. We absolutely loved their food. My key wins were spring rolls, vegetarian soup and fried rice. They were very accommodating to prepare vegetarian food as we liked. They also allowed us to keep our bags there while we went for a short excursion. Very friendly staff. The complimentary passionfruit with honey drizzled on top was a surprisingly fun dessert!

  • 5/5 Noy C. 1 year ago on Google
We had their hotpot which was amazing! We couldn't decide between beef or salmon and the waitress offered us half of each, she explained how to eat it since it was our first time ordering hot pot. Our lunch was spot on, warm and filling and very tasty. Try the hot pot and I'm sure you won't regret! Once we finished eating we had 2 hours to pass till our bus to Hanoi and she said we could leave our bags in the restaurant while we're taking a short walk In the town. That was a beautiful gesture! Btw during the meal they offered refill to the soup and the veggies with no additional charge l. Highly recommend this place!!

Absolutely amazing restaurant! The food is sooo sooo good! Just the best staff, they communicate really well! 😍😍 We are vegetarians and she was kind and so informative about the ingredients in the hotpot. She patiently explained us all about the hotpot items and how the food has been prepared. We loved it so much! The eggplant curry was well done and the drinks are really good.🥰🥰🥰🥰 You should try their rice wine, apple wine, plum wine. It is soo strong that you get an immediate rush of warmth in your body! 🤣 Just the best restaurant in SAPA for vegetarians. Highly highly recommended.

Food is very good especially goose in orange sauce and deer meat. Calming music played in restaurant. Havana coffee is very good too. They served passion fruits after the meal for free. Service is very good in this restaurant.

They are super friendly and attentive! I can absolutely recommend this place and the prices are also good! Thank you so much :)

Nice spot steps away from centretown with an upper floor. Staff are very friendly and speak english. Credit card is also a payment option for 3% on top. Tofu with tomato sauce and rice and watercress with garlic for 95k total were great :)

We had a great time at this restaurant. We requested to be seated on the second floor and it was very peaceful and lovely. The hospitality shown by the waitress is very good as since we and another patron was upstairs, she waited for us to ensure that we enjoyed our food. She gave hs complimentary passion fruit dessert after our meal. Shoutout to the hospitality given and we really enjoyed it as we enjoyed speaking with her. Food was great and delicious for the Pho and Spring Roll. As for the Steak, I would not be too harsh as it is a Vietnamese restaurant after all, the meat is quite hard and took me awhile to eat it due to the tough meat. Would recommend this restaurant if you would like to enjoy Vietnamese Food.
