Amazing spot to see the lights. Has a side room with a fireplace to warm up with and toilets nearby. Well lit path to walk from town.

One word wow,its summer time so no Aurora,but still amazing place to visit...

It's by far the best place to spot the northern lights in saariselka. It's a short walk into the woods. The path is well lit and completely safe even at night. The hut is cosy and there is enough firewood for a campfire outside or the fireplace inside.

Great facility and managed to get brilliant views of the Northern Lights. Little bit of a hilly walk with a couple of steep sections. Not flat as others described on here.

Short of words to describe this place. A nice and cozy hall with table and chairs. The deck faces the forest and the view was amazing. Free fire wood (stored across the street near rest room), barbecue place and dry toilet facilities are there. Toilet is not great and not recommended. We stayed there the whole night looking for the mighty Northern Lights. On our 4 day trip we were there all the 4 days looking for the Northern Lights. We finally saw the mighty on the last day!!! Best place to see the northern lights if the sky is clear.

Great place, also kid friendly as it is only 700m walk from parking lot

Very good place to enjoy the aurora and serenity

Good quiet place to wait for the Aurora. The fireplace and free wood is really great as well. However, the day that we went there, there was no Aurora show. We caught the show from another location but we did miss the fireplace.
