We had a fantastic tour and saw over 30 elephants, over 20 water buffaloes, 8 crocodiles, a mongoose, three chameleons, two eagles, lots of other birds including pelicans and herons, 9 monkeys, a turtle, a monitor lizard, two deer and other animals i don’t recall. Our guide had the eyes of a hawk and the ears of a bat. He could spot a camouflaged chameleon from 10 meters away while driving the 4x4 over a bump. He also had great knowledge on the animals. Unbelievable value for money and couldn’t recommend more

We organised through the them a trip to Udawalawe National Park and it was excellent! Our guide was perfect he stayed away from the rush of other jeeps and was very knowledgeable about the plants and animals within the park, the jeep was very comfy and the breakfast also good, thank you very much for our unforgettable experience!

As we set off from Kalu’s Hideaway Hotel for an afternoon game drive in Uda Walawe National Park, we were fairly quickly rewarded by a sighting of a reasonable sized elephant herd by the water. It was fascinating to see the herd continually shifting around, yet always keeping a protective cordon around the baby in its midst. Whilst the elephants are the main attraction here, we managed to also spot and enjoy a variety of other animals and birds.

It was my first safari experience, and I was lucky to see plenty of different animals: elephants, crocodiles, peacocks and even deers!

They organised us an excellent safari. We went nice and slowly around the park and saw elephant herds and baby elephants, crocodiles, water buffalo, so many birds including eagles and monkeys. He was able to organise this for us as soon as we arrived and we went out on the safari at 2:30PM the same afternoon.
