No complaints here! Everything you expect from an iHop. Quickly seated, food arrived promptly, and tasted great! Our waitress was sweet and quick.

Was there for breakfast, every time I go I get two eggs over easy, two times ago they were undercooked and runny and one of the two egg yolks always arrives broken. The toast arrived cold and not buttered. Love their hash briwns.

We had breakfast at this IHOP on a Saturday (yesterday) morning. We were placed in a small booth in the corner. But they were getting very busy and we were just two, so it wasn't a problem. Our sever was very nice and attendtive. The food was good at a reasonable price. The restaurant seemed clean everywhere we went. All in all, a decent meal at a fair price.

Service was very slow, food was barely edible (like the toast was rock hard & other stuff was cold!!)

Food and service was good. Normal chain food. Nothing to rave about here. It's what you would expect. 100$ for 4 of us to eat.

Decorations and location appears to recently updated. Very clean. Friendly staff. Updated menu. Got the steak omelet. A little pricey but a good portion size, excellent fillings. Steak, cheese, hashbrown, onions. Very tasty. With a side of pancakes. Won't hesitate visiting here again!

It was very close to the Motel, so that was a plus. Most of the staff are not all that friendly. Matter-of-fact the 1st day we went, the waitress we had never even asked if we were all set until about 10 minutes after we received the bill from her, but we didn't leave right off. We were still eating & enjoying coffee. The 2nd day we had a much nicer waitress and SHE was good!! Next year, we are in hopes to stay in South Portland like previous years and go back to that IHop--- they've been great, only 1 waitress 1 year (out of MANY) that was not so good... but great ALL other things we were there!!

Breakfast was cooked to order for all 6 of us, my country fried steak and eggs was great, it came out quickly and was very good. Our waitress (Betsy) was very nice and a pro at her job. I'd go back for sure👍

Great place in most cases, I love most ihops but this one really did not impress me. Took about 10-15 min to take our order then waiting close to an hour waiting for our food to arrive and then eventually we just left because we didnt want to wait any longer. Didn't make any sense to keep sitting customers when people wasn't getting any food that was already sitting. Very disappointing at this ihop.

My first visit to this location. Such friendly staff for such a humid day! I was in a mood for the chain's spinach mushroom omelet. I recall it being less expensive, but still; 13.99 for a massive, loaded omelet AND the side of hash browns was all I needed for the day! I am hot blooded; I also have heat intolerance. I am certain that I'm the only one who found the place "warm" for having a/c. That said, the wall of heat that hits you when you leave reminds you that it was on.

Horrible . Every plate wrong. Waited forever to order. Waited to get food. Ended up talking to manager because food was awful. Dry burger, blueberries in my turkey club?- that had no turkey or bacon, bad whip cream, flat soda,cold onion rings,! He comped the bill- we were not the only ones either- we left a tip not really deserved but and couldn't leave fast enough

The waitresses we're very kind We are disabled and have to sit in a table instead of a booth and they were very accommodating. The menu was good and the food was very good. The onion rings are wonderful. We had lunch instead of our breakfast in the bathrooms are clean which is very nice

1st time I've been disappointed by an ihop, food arrived cold told the server and she wanted to take it back and microwave it. Sorry I don't go out to eat to have microwave food. All we got is excuses why the food was cold.

About 20 minute wait to be seated, fine. Then it took about 10 minutes to get our drinks/put orders in. Probably about 40 minutes to get our food. I'm more unhappy because my one year old waited so long to get the food. Food was decent. Only complaint about my food was that I ordered the spicy poblano pepper omelet, they clearly must have forgot to precut up the pepper and put it in the omelet, because when I received my plate, there was just a whole pepper thrown next to the omelet not cooked. The omelet was not spicy. I've had great experiences at other IHOP locations, just not this one.

I hope the staff is new and not incompetent. One of the servers sat at the bar playing on his phone. My order was wrong my water was never refilled even when we were the only people in the restaurant and I requested it. The waitress apologized for the hair in my food when she picked up the regular and decaf coffee carafe that had sat on the table the entire time we were eating. I'm assuming they were left from a previous customer. I was able to look in the kitchen on our way out and there was definitely spills and food on the floor that weren't picked up. All in all the restaurant was gross and we're never going back.

I ordered blueberry French toast my wife ordered eggs Benedict. The bread for my toast had to be 3 days old and the bag left open. Wasn't even moist and could hardly cut with a fork. The Hollandaise sauce on the Benedict was so sweet she asked the waitress if it was always like that and she just said yes. It tasted like it was made with French vanilla cream.

The cook should learn how to cook over medium eggs and to unthaw the strawberries BEFORE putting them on the French toast! Then. I can't pay when I leave. I'm told to return to my table and pay there. Not worth this stress!

The "Jalapeño Kick" is one of the best burgers I've had in years. Delicious. The right amount of heat, enough bacon and onions. Instead of regular cheese, it has a four-cheese crisp. What is not to like about grill-fried cheese made into a crispy disk. Really good. The side salad was very good also.

Worst place I've ate breakfast at! Went there with my husband and two kids. I ordered a specialty omelette and asked for no onions. After waiting at least 20 minutes our food came out and my omelette had a to of onions, food was cold and all of our hash browns were barely cooked. I sent my omelette back but asked for it to be put in to-go container because I figured I wouldn't get it before my family were done eating. To my surprise it came out very quick. But unfortunately this time they put nothing inside the omelette, no wonder it didn't take very long. I sent it back and had it removed from my bill because I wasn't about to pay $16 for nothing. Either terrible cook, or terrible server, or both!

First time coming to the Saco IHop! Very pleasantly surprised at breakfast bar when you first walked in. We were immediately greeted by our server, Melissa, who introduced herself and took us to our table. In less than a minute she was back to take our drink order. We were ready to place our food order at that time, so she entered it into the new ordering tablet. Even with modifications, our food arrived hot and to the table within 10 minutes of the order being taken. Melissa came back twice to check on our meal, asking about the quality of our meals and if we needed drink refills. I had the eggs Benedict. I would recommend it to even the most critical of foodies. My egg was perfectly poached, English muffin toasted great. Presented just like the picture. Amazing does not describe the flavor… just perfection!! My little buddy’s food was hot, and he jumped right into eating as soon as his chicken tenders were in front of him. He has never finished an entire kids meal before, and this meal was GONE!! Great job IHop!! We will be back for sure!!!

Food was great. Excellent portions. My kid is a very picky eater but he got the silver 5 and he ate all of it. He kept talking about it for days. I left satisfied. Lost a star because the entire floor was sticky. Not sure if it was a recent spill but it was sticky when we came in and it was sticky when we left and nobody was doing anything about it. Parking was a non issue on a Saturday around 1130 am. Plenty of spaces.

Makenzie J was our server today and she was absolutely amazing! Service with a smile, checked in to see how we were doing, just really kind- super refreshing and created a totally different experience than what we’ve been accustomed to at this location previously. The new manager stopped by to say hello- which had never happened under prior management- and she was also very welcoming. It seems like the change in oversight was exactly what was needed to bring positive energy into this location. We’ll absolutely be back!

Food was great, and the service was excellent!! Especially because they were very busy and, like many other restaurants, they were short staffed! The waitresses were working very hard to please everyone, and the hostess kept her cool and was pitching in to clean up the tables so people could be seated. The food came out pretty quickly considering how busy it was. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Food was OK.. Just warm, not hot. Service is less than mediocre, you have to ask for refills, no one ever comes back to see if everything is OK and they are very slow to take your order.

We didn't even get our food, we waited about 30 minutes and left when we noticed a couple who had been waiting even longer had gotten only their salads. The server wasn't impolite but she didn't say anything either. Just walked up to our table and stood there. The whole vibe of the place was off and we couldn't wait to get out of there after such a long wait.

I was so mad at the waitress that we had the place not busy that she was chatting with her other employees instead of attending to the guests. I ordered country fried chicken, and it didn't come with enough gravy, so I asked for extra. Then she forgot about it, so I had to wave her down, and then my husband got the breakfast sampler it was supposed to come with ham, and she argued that it doesn't when it does so I said just give me a side of ham then and she literally waited until the ham got cooked before she brought my gravy over so I had to eat cold food at this point. Then I wanted to get an ice water and more creamers so I could enjoy another cup of coffee but she never came over to ask how our food was so I got passed and left TIP OF DAY PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR CUSTOMERS.

If you want to stand at the please wait to be seated sign and be ignored this is the place. Waited for about ten minutes while an employee walked back and forth and never acknowledged us. I did see the same employee snap at a guest that was waiting to pay her check. The guest had asked for change for a 20 and was quite rudely told there wasn't any. Yup after seeing such great customer service we left. We got Chinese from a place in OOB where they were happy for our business andwe got great food .

What a great place to eat, with terrific service,breakfast and another great surprise is their lunches!!!

Oh man! I was in the need of pancakes, and THIS PLACE HAS TONS OF EM!!! They even put fruit on them and have syrup, and the staff here SERVES them to you, with smiles on their faces. Great food joint!

Waitress was very good. But the food was not. I got the breakfast sampler. The ham was tough bacon tasted like it was old. Sausage was cold and under cooked. Hashbrowns not too good. Pancakes barely melted the whipped butter. Scrambled eggs were good. Wont go back. 20$ breakfast with tip.

My family *LOVES* IHOP! Also, because it's my birthday today, I got to pick where we went to eat. Hibachi? Nope! Fine dining? Nope! Night away from our teens? Nope! Momma wanted IHOP! I turn 40 today, so...👵 Very clean and we felt comfortable and confident in the staffs' efforts to keep the place COVID-19 free. But like I said, momma wanted IHOP. Plus, I turned 40 today so...👵 Besides the great food and prices, they are doing a great job trying to keep everybody healthy by staggering the seating. Our waitress brought over plenty of little containers of ketchup and syrup without us even having to ask. She was super friendly and engaging. Left a big tip for our brave essential worker and had a great time. Also, happy birthday to the Duchess of Cambridge and Dave Matthew's and Joan Baez and Jimmy Page! Oh and Elvis was yesterday, along with David Bowie. Xoxo

Very clean restaurant. Our server was Nikki. She was very helpful and attentive. In fact all the employees were very friendly. My wife ordered New York cheesecake pancakes with a side of potato pancakes. The cheesecake pancakes looked delicious and were. The potato pancakes were a little overcooked but were edible. I ordered the original buttermilk pancakes with a side of hash browns. The pancakes were light, fluffy and delicious. The hash browns were crispy on the outside and delicious as well. You could tell the manager in charge took pride in her restaurant. This was an awesome experience.
