DO NOT RENT HERE! The management is completely negligent and rude. The quality of the interior is very poor. I'm pretty sure there's mold growing in my shower. I cannot wait for this lease to be up. I have never had such a horrible experience living anywhere. The mail box in building is busted and anyone can pull the doors on them open. The paint job on the property is embarrassing and its not complete on any of the buildings. They advertise as "Luxury Apartments" HA! if you're looking for luxury apartments look else where. if you're looking to pay too much to live in a glorified garbage box, this is your place. If I could give negative stars I would.

DO NOT LIVE HERE! I REPEAT DO NOT LIVE HERE! These people try to squeeze every dollar out of you. The apartments are in horrible repair. The roof constantly leaked. The apartments are not even painted on the outside. The "community" utility billing system is completely overpriced. They will take your rent check, claim it didnt cash, then make your life hell, even when you paid and have evidence from your bank that your check went through. Out of all of the houses and apartments I have rented, this place was by far the worst. Save yourself the grief and live ANYWHERE else. This year experience was absolutely awful.

Please please do not rent here. The management do not care about the tenants. Once they signed you up you are on your own. There were so many incidents that we encountered and nobody seemed to do anything about it. Some outsiders broke in and destroyed the whole mail lockers several times and I called their “security “ but nobody came! And the manager just said “lock your door”. Then some people broke the laundry door and it remained broken the whole time I stayed there. People from outside can just come and go even swim in the pool. Their pool and jacuzzi is full of molds!!! And when you leave do not expect to get your deposit back and also they will try to get you pay more!!!! Very very bad if I can score negative I will!

A very poorly maintained and decrepit property. I rented a unit in this complex for a under a year. In the short while I lived here, I experienced all the joys of having water leakage in my ceiling, wet carpets, cockroaches, non operational lights, and electrical issues in most of the outlets. In the first month of living here, I had my mailbox vandalized, and my mail stolen. The mailbox was not repaired, and I had to get a P.O box at a distant post office. The management was laughable. My repair requests went unnoticed. Trying to pay rent was a nightmare. For the record, the rent here was way to high for what you got. In all fairness, they did have a maintenance man, but the poor fellow was stressed beyond his capacity. For anyone wishing to rent in downtown, please do yourself a favour and do NOT rent here. I wish I had read a few online reviews before choosing to rent.

This place deserves zero stars. The property management doesn’t fix anything when asked to. Tim is the most condescending and narcissistic man who will fight and yell with you but never give you any corporate number to try to take things to a higher level. There was roaches everywhere around the complex. The pool is always dirty. The hot water would be off for days on end and there was never any compensation for it. Maintenance men would go into your apartment when they were not told they could enter. This place has a million red flags and I suggest living anywhere else but here.

I have a video of this senior property manager Tim Townsend yelling at employees. He is always controlling, lazy, miserable, manipulative, narcissistic, & rude. He only cares about himself. Corporate does nothing about the issue to hold him accountable. He is way out of line.

These very old, run down apartments had cockroaches about 2 inches long, some of the biggest I've seen anywhere in sacramento. The elevator next to my apartment had an alarm that someone pulled and it kept ringing for three days; when I called management that I couldn't sleep at night they said be patient we are working on it and that our maintenance crew don't work on weekeends. My railing on the third floor had missing bolts connecting it to the walls and I didn't have hot water for two days because a pipe burst flooding the garage almost ruining the inside of my car. I can't say enough bad things about this place. To top it all off they kept about 300 dollars from my 600 deposit. When I asked why, management said they have a mandatory policy of paint touchup and carpet cleaning after a tenant leaves regardless of how careful you were. I told them this was not told me when I signed the lease, they said it's our policy. Management is horrible and rude. They do not know how to run an apartment building. Believe the other reviews here, for the amount they charge for rent amd what u get i wiuld say stay far away from this place for you own sake.

I’ve lived at governor square going on 2 years. The grounds are always spotless and the area is extremely quiet. Management has always been accommodating and extremely friendly. There’s 2 pools so neither are ever packed like most downtown pools. I’d for sure recommend living here.
