Hands-down, the worst decision I’ve ever made! The first thing you’ll be greeted with on your way home, is abject homelessness right off the Q St. exit. The Riverwalk is also filled with homeless and deranged people walking around constantly. I if you move into 1421 5th St., you will find a tech savvy female resident on the 6th floor. She will make your life miserable if you happen to work from home or need access to the Internet, or a clear line to communicate on. She has the ability to create white noise, otherwise known as loud feedback, if you’re too loud, or walk around your apartment too much, and she will do everything she can to block your access to the Internet by compromising your Bluetooth and Wi-Fi networks. I filed multiple police reports, contacted the Security Team, shared my concerns and issues with the leasing office to no avail. I will say that the head of building security was able to validate the issues I raise regarding the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi issues I was dealing with, but that also went nowhere. The amenities in the building are decent, but I find the work and craftsmanship to be slipshod at best. There are large gaps in the flooring and molding. My 7th floor kitchen isn’t level, it’s on a slant. The walls are paper thin. The cheapest particle board had to be used along with the cheapest paint. While trying to be high end, Capitol Towers misses the mark completely! You will find everything here to be over priced and highly overrated More to the point a great portion of the residents here are extremely self-righteous, closed door bullies. Sadly there’s a racial component that anyone of color who chooses to live on the top floor should be aware of. The 7 1/2 months I’ve spent here have been sheer hell and I cannot wait to break my lease to get the F away from here as soon as possible! My ultimate recommendation, steer clear of Capitol Towers, especially 1421 5th St.

Multiple car thefts and break-ins. Stolen packages. Elevators continually break down. Heating and cooling are in constant disrepair. Flooding is frequent.The Tower is neglected and filthy. The hallways are dark and security cameras are not to be found.The entrance to the building is disgusting (stained with urine). Staff turnover is constant and disconcerting. The property is now searching for a fourth manager in almost as many years. The laundry facility in the basement is grimy and most washers and dryers do not work sufficiently. If you take issue with the pool being overcrowded with guests or fence jumpers--the staff is nowhere to be found. Complaints are rarely addressed, and the favorite phrase of staff ( if you can reach them) is --"We're actively working on it." I lived in the building prior to the Weidner takeover and it was a beautiful and safe place to live. It has been my primary residence for over twenty years. One gets the sense that they would rather have you move out- than fix the issues. The company has not been able to achieve that feeling of safety and community since they bought the property. In short, there is not enough staff to maintain a property like this and for some reason there is no interest in providing extra staff to make living at Capitol Towers a pleasant experience.

I should have never moved here! If you notice the good reviews are only a month old because logan begs for the reviews LOL! If you are a new tenant...give it a few more months I promise. Last year when I signed my lease there was $0.00 on my contract. In the middle they tried to charge me, so I retained an attorney, and they dropped charges. Then they wanted to charge me on my new lease and per previous attorney who wrote a demand letter they are not protected under CA and cannot raise my rent and my new contract as well says $0.00 and the parking addendum I signed does not state an amount and we had all come to an agreement that I would not need to pay parking this year as well. I received a notice of violation for parking in the garage and notice from manager they were going to start charging me $175 and it states nowhere in my contract they are charging me. But instead of handling it they are pushing me off to City of Sacramento. Then if I have a problem with my lease the City says talk to your apartment. I know the new tenants think Logan is wonderful...but guys she gets paid minimum and so does Caleb. They can type and show property at best. But when it comes to your financial situation do you really want someone that incompetent handling this? And the new management? Really? You don't handle problems either? Ouch...Type for KCRA to come back lol LOGAN and CALEB YOU WORK FOR US

I called to get some information & the gal I spoke with, Hailey, was so accommodating, friendly & knowledgeable. She spent as long as I needed (30 min) to get all my questions answered, even went the extra mile & emailed me some info. So far the office staff are really responsive & helpful. I am still researching to see if these apartment homes would be a good fit or not but kudos to the office staff!

Max is amazing. I went there to ask some questions about the apartments and he took my group on an impromptu tour of two different apartments. We are anxiously awaiting final word to see if we get in. The apartments are clean, and the amenities are worth the money...and they are more than some of the other apartment complexes in the city. Update: Just received word tonight that we were approved! :) I am looking forward to being a part of the Capitol Towers community/family.

New mid-rises are among the best apartment buildings in Sacramento. Apartments and parklike grounds are beautifully appointed with well-thought-out design. Common facilities are like a fine hotel resort. Fantastic location near Downtown Commons and Golden 1 Center. Midtown Sacramento is so last decade. I’ve lived here one year. Staff is very helpful - especially Caleb, Valerie and Logan. Would have given 5 stars, except there have been repeated problems getting the secure entry systems working properly. Fortunately, there are several levels of security, and the property is quite safe. Overall, I highly recommend the property and staff.

So I’m a new resident at the capital towers, been there for a month or more and I day I love it, I haven’t met all the neighbors but so far everyone’s been cool which is dope. The front office has been accommodating, the apartments have been nice especially for a late night walk, safe environment plenty of places to eat and chill. I could say more but recommend 10/10 for the win. Thank you calab for working with me and being helpful.

Wonderful apartment in the mid rise with brand new everything! I love the surrounding area as there are many places to walk to and eat. And a big thanks to Valerie for helping us the most with our application process!
