Wow my friends and walked from Mc Kinley Park to safeway and decided we hungry. There was the scent if delicious food in the air. We saw the all the people and decided to give it try. We were definitely pleased. Not just with the food, but the service too. We were able to be seated right away. The place is clean. The hostess was nice. Our server, Matt, was great and offered the right amount of attentiveness. We had the Saturday brunch/ lunch menu. 😋

Great ambience with a patio and music in the open parking lot. Food was good, we ordered calamari fry, garlic tots, pizzas, sliders and burgers.

I've been here a couple time for brunch and an NFL game. Most recently to gamble. However, I had some food then too. The brunch food was great. Wings are better. Cheese steak was probably the best thing I've had. The drink service was fast and they have decent prices. I will definitely return. Try it out.

Phenomenal food! Even better after a few drinks. Don't let the 'bar' in the name discourage you. Once you're done with your meal try to win you tab back on a few hands on blackjack at their tables (or lose everything and be force to eat ramen for a month).

Love this place, we had our work meeting here today and the server was so nice and attentive. She remembered all our drinks and was quick to replace them. Food was great!

Four star for now. I only had the challah french toast and tasted my girlfriend's eggs Benedict. Was a nice fresh tasting breakfast. I enjoyed the medium light roast house blend they're using too.

Limelight is a staple establishment located in East Sacramento, staff is awesome, food is excellent, especially the weekend brunch, this is our go to for NFL football and I usually sneak in a few hands of poker at halftimes.

Although my personal experience of losses due to bad calls I can not will not mislead others about this café. They are all good spirited, make fair calls on any issues brought to attention, and get to know their patrons on a first name basis. All this leads up to a good experience every time regardless of ones win or loss in bets.

Use to like this place, but it has gone down hill a bit. Food is good, but I was in tonite and it was super loud. I waited for a 1/2hr at a table in the 2nd room and was ignored. Waitress was tending to a large group nearby and totally ignored me. Will never go back.

Great sports bar. Food was great — they even had a few healthy vegan options. The wait staff was very friendly and plenty of TVs to watch the games.

I enjoyed my food and experience at this location. It's a very small dining area, food was served fast and the server was attentive. I will definitely come back and try again perhaps an adult beverage and something else off the menu. The Cobb salad is excellent.

Terrible service and nasty food. The superior pancakes I ordered were disgusting, so I tried my friends breakfast burrito and the potatoes were burnt and the rest had no flavor. Sat for a half hour and had to get loud to get someone to actually help up. Don’t waste your time

This is the one and only eagles bar in Sacramento which is why I’m leaving 4 stars. Fair beer prices and a good atmosphere but let’s be honest, the food is terrible. It’s actually comical how bad the food is.

Came in Friday with a group around 7 pm. The place wasn't that busy besides the bar. We stood waiting to place a drink order for about 15 or 20 minutes. Never did the bar tender greet us or say one moment! Finally someone in our group raised their hand to get the guys attention who was directly in front of us. The bartender waved back very sarcastically and laughed at him while staring at him intensely. The gentleman in our group said I wasnt waving at you, I was trying to get your attention. Bartender continued his convo with customer. No acknowledgement for another 5 plus minutes! I honestly don't why we stayed long enough to get our drinks but we kept trying to turn our experience around. After all of got our drinks we decided to head to another bar in walking distance! Before we all left he was booing us and encouraging others at bar to join in. The dude's name is Dave. Dave the D*CK as I like to call him. Do better Limelight! This used to be a great place to come.

Always comfortable my recent visit to Limelight was relaxed and cozy. I always try to get the 2 orange velvet chairs in the dining room. My calamari frittata was delicious. Just the right supper for my 1st Sunday of Lent! My waitress, Nancy, was cordial and helpful. I really enjoyed the young couple playing darts games! Enjoy yourself when you drop in for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

I visit the limelight on a weekly basis and there is quality food and service every time. Great place to grab a meal and enjoy a football game.

To be fair the bar is great and the food is good. However the biggest issue with this place is the kitchen and the wait times are horrible.!!! If I was a 20 something going for bottomless mimosas sure id forget about the wait time for food. That said don't go hungry you'll be disappointed. I even went recently when it was slow and still wait over 45 minutes for the Cobb Salad. I know everyone uses post pandemic as an excuse but their kitchen is really bad. Also if you're sitting outside don't be upset if you feel like they forgot a out you because out of sight out of mind. Hahaha. Enjoy!

I've only been here for breakfast and it's been great every time. They serve hearty breakfasts with large portions. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because parking isn't easy.

Service was good. But, by far the smallest chicken wings I have EVER had.

Ordered the weekly special sandwich 🔥🔥🔥wanted sweet potatoes fries but they were out so I settled for garlic tots 😢 they were okay, very crispy but not much else about them was exceptionally good. Side salad was good. Mimosas were really good, I shoulda ordered the full caravlfe instead of just the half. Highly recommend, I will come back!

The food here is great. The bar not so much. The price for drinks is expensive and they underserve. The bartenders are young and are not that experienced, they can't even pour a beer correctly. I ordered a pint of beer and I received 12 oz. of beer, the rest of the pint glass was filled with foam. Out of respect for the beer, I didn't ask for another because the bartender probably would have threw the beer out and poured a new glass. The food is pricey but it is worth it, the bar not so much. They have NFL Sunday ticket.

Limelight has the best wings! Make sure to get them naked with their hot sauce! Their zucchini strips are excellent as well! Service is always prompt and friendly. I wish I lived closer. Thank you Limelight!
