Hit or miss. There are some fantastic providers who really care about the kids. I have no issues with them for well-child appointments. But, trying to get a hold of them is terrible. I am routinely on hold for over a half hour just to try to schedule a sick appointment. Then, you still have to wait for a nurse to call you before they will schedule an appointment. Several times, I have called first thing in the morning and FINALLY talk to a nurse in the early afternoon just for them to tell me there's no appointments available and suggest I go to ER or Urgent Care. Absolutely unacceptable for a pediatrician. This is a frequent situation, not a one-off.

I love my peds Dr. But to have to sit on hold for 15 min to try and get an appointment for my child, only to be told I have wait to have a nurse call me back. And that they only have 1 nurse to answer appointment questions, and 1 phone operator for all 4 CMU locations. That is absolutely nuts. Talk about over stretching your staff! The 2 stars is only for the fact that I absolutely love my kids Dr. But I think it may be time to look for a new place!

If I could give this office negative stars I would . My children have been here 7+ years and the last two years have been horrible . No available appointments long waits and cancellations on the day of the appointment . If you want to utilize urgent care for every sickness this is a great place , if you want to be seen and treated with respect find somewhere else. When I brought my concerns up the office manager was laughing . So unprofessional. I would never recommend this place . There are good doctors and NP but you have to put up with a lot of B.S to maybe once in a while get the care your kids need. Save yourself the headache and frustration.

I was very happy with my first appointment. I was afraid of being rushed and asked a lot of questions from students but was very pleased to have a 1,1 interaction with one Dr. He was courteous and listened to my concerns. He went through the treatment plan withe. Poor gal at reception seemed to need more help at checking, so that's the reason for the missing star. She did her very best & remained positive & professional, but she needs another person up there.

Been on hold for over an hour to get an appointment. No one called back when I used that option yesterday. Is it a budget thing? I feel you charge me (and all patients) plus our insurances enough to hire someone answer the phone...

First off they made us wait 45 minutes PAST our appointment time before calling us back. Nurse attempting to take my son's weight/ height was rude. They made him strip naked to get his weight and height since they were so impatient with him since he is delayed. NEVER EVER gonna be taking my son or anyone back into this place of a joke.

When you are in the office everything is fantastic! However the phone lines are dizzying to try to even get un queue with anyone. When you do it can take 30 mins minimum to talk to anyone. The option to recieve a call back later always states it cannot be completed at this time if you attempt it. Finally the system just hangs up on you after a while. It's hard when you love the drs but they are impossible to get in touch with.

Dr Hadaad was caring and was an incredible active listener. His explanation of what he thought was happening was thorough and I felt confident in assessment. I highly recommend him and his staff who were also attentive and kind.

My second visit at CMU Health and I am so glad my PCP sent me here. Everyone is so nice, respectful and professional. Haylee LaDouce is great and educated me on things I never knew. I really feel that Haylee, Dr Variar and staff truly care about my health! I had my first visit at CMU Health - Houghton. I am impressed and happy I was referred to Dr Vaviar and staff!

I’ve always felt welcomed at CMU! Everyone involved in my healthcare has always been respectful and very supportive of my concerns!

I have been unable to get a sick visit for my children for the past multiple times they have been sick. Urgent care has now become our new doctor since they are mostly only seeing well visits at the office. When will you start making more time for sick visits?

Dr Reddy is an amazing doctor, very informative and a very compassionate man. I will recommend him to everyone.

Ridiculous wait times when you call, at least 15 minutes to get someone on the line EVERYTIME I call. Unable to make appointments until someone calls you back hours later. If you press one to get a call back they only take a message and you have to wait for someone else to call you back. I love the doctors and would hate to switch providers because administration can’t get it together.

New update got a positive pregnancy test on Halloween and have been calling since to make an appointment with my OB just to be sent to a answering machine and no one calls back. This place is garbage now and so is the staff smh I'll be going elsewhere!! .Called three times to make an appointment because I'm pretty sure I'm having a miscarriage and they send me to voice mail smh what a joke

Quick response to messages on MyChart and scheduling something very quickly that was missed when I was checking out. Dr. Mellow has always been amazing and so are those who work with her.
