Me and Saundra my love stopped by for a late dinner. She had steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. Also, French onion soup. I had the new dish, Mac and chicken strips. The food was delicious and cooked to order well. We were served by Stephanie H.at the bar. She was very nice and attentive. The restaurant was clean and it was a good atmosphere for dining. Thank you for having good management here.

The food was good. It wasn't a wait and it wasn't that crowded. The waitress Alex was very polite. He kept checking on us.

Visiting friends in the area & we decided to have dinner here. Short staffed for sure but out waitress Lindsy was fantastic. Our food came out quickly & was very good.Lindsey & 1 or 2 other servers kept things afloat. Good job Lindsey! Applebee's is lucky to have you

This is just my honest opinion about this particular Apple B’s. I wasn’t very pleased with the service and the lack of professionalism from some of the staff. We were seated in a booth near the entrance and the hostess station. After putting in our drink orders and the children’s food order, my family and I overheard some of the staff talking at the hostess podium. It wasn’t very hard not to hear their conversation as they were not exactly quiet. One of the young ladies was boasting to another male coworker that she can handle her shots and she only starts to feel drunk after about 20. She then continues to say it has to be either fireball or jagermeister. While I was very impressed by her ability to consume so many shots in one night and still be vertical.....this was not a conversation to be had in the restaurant in ear shot of patrons. Our waitress was somewhat pleasant, she seemed to be either tired or just wanted to go home. We weren’t checked on very much, even though the restaurant was pretty empty and during our main course, she brought the bill, set in on the table and told us no rush, when we are ready we can pay. We were not even given the choice to order dessert 😳 and we were still eating our main course. I don’t know if that is company policy, but we felt very rushed. In conclusion, The food wasn’t bad and we enjoyed our drinks. We just felt a tad neglected and learned way too much about some of the staffs extra curricular activities. In essence, I would give them another shot.....or 20.

It doesn't matter what city or which building, Applebees seems to be the restaurant with the fewest employees at work. Though the restaurant is only about 1/3 filled you have to wait 15-30 mins or more to get in(or order) and longer to get the food. The last 3x times (from Tampa to Palm Coast), only 2-3 servers could be counted. We tipped them generously due to their great attitude, great cooking and unfair work burden. It's disappointing that management has not solved this problem for this well liked chain. Certainly its hard to keep good workers with these challenges.

We decided to come here due to it being the only restaurant open til midnight. We came around 10pm. Upon arrival there was two other parties waiting. A server cleaning tables told us that there would be a 15-20 minute wait so we wait. More than 20 minutes go by and no one is there. Not a hostess or server in sight acknowledging the large number of people in their waiting area. A different employee walks by and we catch his attention and he says the same thing the previous employee did. 15-20 minute wait even though there were PLENTY of open tables. We decided to leave. Terrible service.

When we arrived we were told it would be about a 20 minute wait as they only had one waitress and one cook. We agreed and waited. We were not offered to be seated at the bar or asked if we wanted a beverage. We were the seated about 25 minutes later and asked for our drink order. The drinks took about 15 minutes and the waitress came over to apologize and take out order. She had been doing this by herself for over a week now as she was the only one due to call outs. Our food took some time to come out, 45 minutes. We ordered onion rings for an appetizer and there was no taste at all, they were crunchy though. I ordered a chicken finger salad and the chicken was limp and tasted old. My parents ordered off the 2 for $25 menu and their food was not good either. The waitress was trying to hard, but was clearly having difficulty serving many tables on her own.

We are from Orlando and we come to San Agustin to have a good time. We came to this restaurant because most places were closed. I chose BBQ pork ribs and they were burnt 😔 I didn't say anything because I was very hungry and it took them a while to bring the food. I think there was little staff because the girl looked stressed serving the tables.

Felt like a night at the mall in the early 90s. We were out for dinner and said what the heck, let's give Applebee's a shot. I had the fish and chips and I have to say, it was very good. Fish was served hot, crispy, straight from the fryer unlike the tired and cold fries. My spouse had the crispy fried shrimp. It was below average for a town like ours with local shrimp hand battered etc. Service was fine. Attentive. Unfortunately, you only get one refill.

The food and service were great, but when you order all you can eat the plates of food had less of the main food and more fries each time the new plate came out.

We went here 12/31/23 it was horrible we reported it and still no one ever contacted us, called us back etc. I got take out my husband sat in the van with everyone else and it took 1 hour to place an order and to get a simple dinner order. The service was horrible, no one was there to welcome you or seat you, finally some one came a server he took my order said it would be 15 minutes it was an hour. The food was cold, horrible, nasty tasting, old taste to it. I sat there and watched people lots of people come in and finally leave because no one ever came to seat them. One time a waitress who finally sat an elderly man and woman when asked how long would it take the waitress told them as long as it does. One person said no one wants to work, no one showed up so it is what it is go somewhere else if you want too. We got a gift card as a Christmas gift what a waste of 50 bucks. Chili's was next door that's where everyone else went we should have as well. From what I heard from others as I waited I won't go back, they all said it's always like this at this place. What nasty people work there and what horrible food and the service sucked. Believe me run don't go here you will regret it

Probably the best Applebee’s experience I’ve ever had. My steak was cooked rare to medium rare when I asked for medium rare which is much better than the other side of the spectrum. I like rare but some places that means raw…but I digress. Our excellent server, Jake, who had just finished his training and provided my husband and I with great service, hot food, and a great work attitude.

Thankful they were open as everything else was closed in the area. Walked in at 10. Ordered several apps on the half off apps menu. Food was great. Ribs were delicious. Service was okay. Until it wasn’t. Server did discount my check for the half price apps. Then I waited for over 22 minutes for my lava cake I ordered Togo. Essentially because I paid I just sat there. He never even came back to my table. I walked out rather than acting like a Karen in the store. Hey Applebees. You owe me $30!!

We ordered pasta! They turned the pasta over and didn’t add enough salt! She's completely tasteless! The chicken is dry! It's impossible to eat! I haven't finished eating! I GO TO Applebee's OFTEN, but this was the most disgusting experience! I also ordered a Caesar salad, but the waiter didn’t bring it because I forgot about it!

I had a $25 gift card from Applebee's from a failed dinner attempt in Destin, Florida. We thought we would give them a second chance and was let down again. While we ended up only paying for "half" a dinner, I would have rather paid full price at a different restaurant. The steak is just not good. if you can't do a steak properly.... just don't do it. this will be the last visit to an Applebee's. while I do appreciate corporate trying to make it right, the right thing would be to only offer items you can properly do.

My friends had the French Onion soup, which they were over the moon about, and I had one of the specialty cheeseburgers, cooked to my specifications with no bun, and slathered with beautifully grilled onions and mushrooms. There was on offer an interesting Whiskey sauce I had put on the side which was quite spicy (for which I was nicely forewarned) so was able to use it judiciously. It added a nice tang to the burger without being overwhelming. My side was mashed potatoes with skins included, which I love. It was already Happy Hour so my friends were delighted when surprised with two beers each. Our server was quick and checked in on us after a second person brought our appetizer and then our meals. The second person was careful to remind us how hot the appetizer plate was. Nice touch. It is a chain so I'm not expecting fine dining but the food was delicious and the service excellent. It was quiet enough for my friends and I to catch up, meaning we weren't competing with loud recorded music. So, overall, another enjoyable experience at Applebee's!

We came in with a reservation for 20-50 people for a retirement party on the outside patio. CRAZY REQUEST! We wound up with a party of 22 and everyone enjoyed dinner and drinks. We were accommodated EXTREMELY WELL! We did call the day prior to confirm we were coming in. We had one waitress LINDSEY M. She was amazing! She handled us with efficiency and was very helpful, patient, and friendly. Thank you all for a great experience! 🤩

Everything was great, the food, the drinks, the service. We'll definetly be back.

I went out to eat and ordered a Chicken sandwich hoping for a good experience but when it came out I noticed it was a little chewy but I didn’t think anything of it so I ate half the sandwich before noticing it wasn’t even cooked. Will never eat here again!! Shut this place down

Stood there at the front for 30 minutes! The manager noticed us and said one moment. 10 minutes later, still standing waiting to be seated for a party of 3! Plenty of available tables! Completely ignored!’ We left went next door to chili’s. Got seated and served right away! We will NOT be returning to Applebee’s at this location again!

First time eating here in several years, they are short staffed, but they did a good job of handling customers, food was delicious, will definitely be back , love the doughnut dippers.

My husband and I got the burger and it was so juicy, literally dripping on the plate. Nice char grilled taste. I got the garlicky green beans instead of fries and they were great! Service was good. Price was good. I will definitely go back.

Weird evening. Came in around 6 and it was 98% empty. Still had to wait a while to get a table. Bartender - shout out to Alex, he really tried his best - then seats us and tells us that our waiter hasn't clocked in yet. Couple minutes go by and no waiter shows up. Alex is back to the rescue and takes our drinks and food order. Drinks were good. Food took quite a while and one of our steaks was so well done that a brick of coal would be the only comparison (we had ordered it medium rare). So, steak goes back to the kitchen. 10 minutes go by and no steak in sight. By now the manager is on it and says it's one crazy evening. We still don't have a "real" waiter for our table. New steak arrives and it's perfect (as was the rest of our food). After our meal we see that there are tons of people waiting to get a table, even though the place is still completely empty. My guess... a lot of scheduled staff didn't show and so they had no one to wait on the people. It's sad that lots of places can't seem to find enough people to work for them. We still had a nice evening, just hoping that they'll fix their staff problems.

I have two ratings for this place. 1st rating is 5 of 5 service is very good, food is very good, the place is nice. 2nd rating 2 of 5 the weekend crew very rude the manager the same way. She talked about policy, but she forgot the main policy of a restaurant is serve food and accommodate customers! Bad experience we may not comeback, it is sad because the food is good and most of the people working in there are very professional. Thank you for those who made our meal experience wonderful!

We asked for extra crispy fries. We got cold, limp fries. My prime rib sandwich was so well done that the edges were crispy.

This is at best a 2.5 experience. The only saving grace was our Waitress, Kat, who worked her rear off make up for the kitchens deficiencies. Food was over an hour, cold, and not cooked to order. Thanks you Kat, but I will not return to this location.

Great service and yummy hot food. We did the all you can eat special and they definitely kept the food coming until we told them to stop. We will come back again and bring the kids next time

Went on veterans Day for a free meal. I am a veteran. Was told I couldn't get it to go. That's fine. Then I asked to dine in and was told veterans aren't allowed to go boxes also. When I complained I was kicked out.

Staff was friendly and inside clean. Everyone in our family enjoyed what they got. Definitely recommend

The waitress was very nice. Always asking everything alright? The food was ok. Price $$$ Ice tea very good. The hamburger 🍔 was great. The salad ok too much salad 🥗 dressing.

The service at entry was exceptional but it was quickly diminished by under cooked burgers and chewy stake and also completely forgetting entries that were never served. Work has to be done. Establishment was well under capacity no excuse to forget meals.
