Absolute must try if you go to St Augustine!!! Absolutely wonderful service!! Noah was our waiter and he was so friendly and professional. Never had to ask for refills. The Best salsa!!! Loved the Avocado enchiladas!! For sure going again while we're here for a week.

I'll be honest it's a bit deceiving at first, you think it's like any other chain Mexican restaurant. But it is not! The food was SO good and the service was great too.

Cantina Louie is good. It's not blow your socks off Mexican, but it's consistently good. The chips and salsa were yummy. The servings are generous and the ingredients are fresh. I had the taco salad. It was tasty. My friend had the grouper tacos. Each taco had a piece of grouper that was bigger than the taco shell! Overall, if you have a craving for Mexican, you won't be disappointed.

Good place with good food and drinks (the 1812 Margarita is awesome) but they've changed the menu up. I always used to get the Steak Nachos with sour cream, guacamole, and pico de gallo but its no longer on the menu.. Got the Fajita Nachos and they were good but could've used more queso. The atmosphere is very loud. Service was good but I could clearly hear the conversations between the servers, bus boys, and kitchen staff and it was mostly cursing and complaining. Probably should have those talks back in the kitchen instead of on the restaurant floor. I'll be back but I'll look over the menu ahead of time and try something different.

The place is decorated in a Mexican street food scene vibe. Sort of like if you would imagine what a Mexican Chilis would look like with zero Tex and all the Mex. There are happy hour specials and even a separate lunch menu. You can order dinner too at lunchtime. Chips and salsa were ok. Heated chips would have been a difference maker. My guest ordered the esquites, a side of beans and cheese, and the west coast burrito. She said everything was just ok and commented that the steak was super dead and did not like the meat. I ordered the street taco basket with one each of carnitas, al pastor, and asada. I agree with my guest about the asada it wasn't great but not to the degree she thought. The carnitas was the clear winner and would order that again but ask to make it extra crispy. I would come back to try other things.

The chicken nachos from here were really good, especially the guacamole. The service was good as well and enjoyed the visit.

Taco Tuesday, the Way it Should Be! $2.99 per taco? It was so fun to mix and match! Service was fast, and friendly: They cleaned empty tables at lightening speed! Cheery interior, lots of birthdays, and groups; the servers invited the whhhoolleee restaurant to sing, "Happy Birthday." Definitely one big party, in part due to the margaritas. 💃

🌮🍹 Had an amazing time at Cantina Louie in St. Augustine! The fajita steak, chicken, and shrimp for two was absolutely delicious 🥩🍗🍤, and the peach 🍑 and watermelon 🍉 margaritas were the perfect refreshing touch! Our waiter was not only great to look at 😍, but also provided excellent service, making our dining experience even better. If you're in the area, I highly recommend you stop by Cantina Louie for some mouthwatering Mexican cuisine! 🇲🇽✨ PS: Sipping on Cantina Louie's peach and watermelon margaritas - smooth as silk and arguably the best I've ever had! 🍑🍉🍹 It cost $148 for 8 people so not bad.

The food and the service was amazing! We went for dinner and weren’t disappointed. All alcohol drinks were delicious. The food came out quick and hot. I don’t know how they could’ve made the experience any better.

If you are looking for a great place that serves amazing drinks and has the best street tacos around St Augustine, then look no further. When you walk in this establishment looks like a generics Mexican eatery, but don't let this full you. All of the street tacos are 4.99 a piece and I would suggest as many as you can eat. Make sure that when you visit here to ask for the server Kim because she was very helpful to make suggestions based on what you like and don't like.

One of the things I love about this place is the architectural and design remnants of the old Pizza Hut that used to be here. It's got a nostalgic warmth that you can't quite puzzle out until you look around, squint your eyes a bit, and then you can almost see the faded memory of an 80s stained glass chandelier where the silver star lights are hanging. The food and service is awesome. Their fajitas must be good because there was a steady stream of them coming out of the kitchen. At one point there was so much steam coming from the multitude of fajitas that I wondered if they ever set off the smoke alarms. I had the avocado enchilada entree and it was very satisfying. It comes with a small side salad and black beans, which you can sub out for refried beans. Service is super quick, friendly, and efficient.

This restaurant did not disappoint. Worth the 4.4 stars it already has and more. The service and recommendations were great. The food was delicious and I highly recommend this restaurant!! We got the chimichanga with steak instead of chicken. Grouper, Mahi, and the hot chick tacos. We also got a burrito bowl with shredded chicken.

The food was very average. We went there as a family but did not like the food at all. Only few items was tasty one of them was guac. I would not suggest this to a family.

I was hoping to have a good time with my family. I did. The few things need addressed, when the waitress writes down part of your order and it doesn't come until you ask for it again not good. I also found a piece of aluminum foil from a pack of cigarettes in my fries. I want them to stay awesome all the time, this is a good place to eat. Just a few things they need to watch. This is a good review!

Had a great time, food was fantastic with excellent guacamole, a huge burrito was great, dining room was clean and so were the restrooms. Ample parking, easy access, kid friendly and vegetarian selections on the menu

Went to Cantina Louie' s while on vacation. The ingredients were quality and the food was good. I thought their salsas were good and fresh (though I prefer a bit more heart with the salsa that comes with the chips). All-in-all, we had a fine dinner and a good experience.

This is the second Cantina Louie location we’ve visited. The food and service was amazing! My go to is cheese dip and 2x surfer chick tacos! The atmosphere is always a great experience.

Good place to eat, not extravagant, but the food was good and plentiful, the service was excellent and the prices are very reasonable. Draft beer is only $3.99. Carne Asada was only $15.99. Chicken chimichanga was 13.99 and was packed full of delicious chicken. You'll need a take home box... we'll be back.

Incredible Mexican joint. Sunday night they have delicious fresh chicken tamales at a reasonable price. The frozen margaritas are great and their housemade sour mix definitely works, unlike some other places. Also unlimited refills on horchata is always a plus!

My goto place for celebrations or everyday FUN. Frozen flavored margaritas are a MUST. Best in the country! Happy Hour with drink deals and half price apps is great. Give the Cantina a try; you won't be disappointed.

We got lucky we went there on a Taco Tuesday. So I got to tastes pineapple al pastor, fried calamari and the Americana. Which are all delicious. I love the Horchata is refillable. ... The chips, salsa and guacamole was also good. ... The customer service was friendly and attentive. Price was good since its taco Tuesday promo. ... The ambiance was clean and interesting. The cute skulls are all over and very Mexican. We enjoyed our lunch date. ...

Good Mexican food. Only thing if some of your party orders fajitas and someone else orders a dish with tortilla they combine it all in one tortilla container. You ask for more and they didn’t come out with more.

We visited Cantina Louie for the first time Saturday afternoon; it was terrific! The service was quick and attentive, with the food coming out fast. And it was delicious! I had the Street Tacos Lunch with rice and beans; the Al Pastor was my favorite! Also, of course, was chips and salsa. All in all, a great lunch! We'll definitely be back!
