We had a horrible experience at this hotel and will never stay here again! It definitely wasn't the normal Hilton standards. We have stayed at several before and this by far was the worst. The room was dirty - hair in the tub, bugs in the room and sheets were dirty. The AC was noisy and didn't work properly. The breakfast area was not clean - tables and chairs. We stayed one night and went to a different Hampton. The staff apologized but didn't offer any compensation to us at all.

I am a travel advisor from Memphis and I booked three rooms at this hotel last minute for myself and my family members to stay while we came to my Aunt's funeral services. As a well-seasoned advisor and traveler, I could not have been more pleased with my decision on booking this hotel for us. From the staff at check-in, to the housekeeping staff having all three rooms (which speaks for itself in their work as a whole) spotless, welcoming & stocked with towels, to the included breakfast that was phenomenal (such a kind and talented lady in that kitchen every morning), to the time we checked out. This stay was 10/10 and I will be recommending this property in the future to my clients. For my family to have stayed only one night we truly were blown away with all aspects of our experience here.

I have both positive and negative feedback. The positive relates specifically to the three staff employees that went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Kanisha, Alana and Morgan were very professional, energetic and courteous/pleasant to interact with. They did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as it could be. The issue was that it was clear to our family that the decision makers above them didn't care much about the welfare of its guests or their employees. The hot tub was out and virtually no information was given to the staff so they could answer basic questions regarding its status. The pool heater was shut off the entire time we were there. It was like swimming in a freezing cold lake. The staff tried to get it working but once again, someone above them turned it off, secured an aftermarket lock to ensure it stayed off and failed to inform those that had to interact with the public the reasons why so that the info could be passed along and articulated to the guests. There were other "issues", the biggest being that one morning when we arose to eat breakfast there was NO one to assist in cooking the food, cleaning the tables or making the coffee. The only employee on site was Kanisha and she had to man the front counter, the phones, the coffee makers and the breakfast. She was clearly stressed and did her dead level best to keep a sweet spirit/attitude and keep everyone satisfied. The poor young lady appeared to be holding back tears though as she tried to keep everything together. My son donned gloves and jumped in to help out and was in the kitchen making eggs and bacon and coffee. Another guest also chipped in to help sanitize tables etc. Later, in conversation, it was brought to our attention by some of the employees that the owners/management did little if anything to make sure this hotel was staffed properly. Did little to nothing to make sure these girls had the help they needed. Every employee we spoke with expressed that they felt abandoned and left to fend for themselves at this location. The frustration level couldn't be ignored. Despite this, these girls and a couple young men that were also working there did their absolute best to pull it off with dignity, professionally, and as efficiently as they could. The room was clean and comfortable enough and they made sure we had everything we asked for or could need. The girls, especially the three I mentioned earlier all had great attitudes and a smile on their faces all three nights we were there. They were high energy and pleasant to speak to/with. I can't speak highly enough about the staff. I hope someone higher up sees this review and rewards these young ladies appropriately! Without their attention to detail and a genuine attempt/desire at making our stay memorable and comfortable, this would have been a horrendous experience. Gave me hope in our younger generation that there are still some folks that care about the customer and customer service and satisfaction. Great job girls! Shame on you management/owners! In my opinion, you don't deserve these ladies on your team!

Updateā€¦. The management company First Call Hospitality of this hotel told me that ā€œsecurity cameras are bad for them legallyā€. They do not care about guests safety and security. They will do nothing for me to help with the damages. Since writing this review I have been contacted by others who on different dates have also had their cars broken into at this hotel. Do not stay here, they have a major safety issue and are doing nothing to prevent more break ins. I am a Hilton honors diamond member who stays in Hilton properties well over the 60 nights per year. I am truly disappointed by the lack security and the customer service offered after the damage to my vehicle. Hotel was nice and GM was kind however my car was broken into in the parking lot. I was parked 20 ft from the door under a light. They did $4000 damage to my car alone. I have reached out to the company that owns this particular Hampton hotel with no response. They had 5 cars broken into the night I stayed. So they need to improve the safety, I am hoping the hotel will contact me directly about the safety and security of my stay. I will update this review if they do.

Very nice desk person and also breakfast manager, but otherwise the room was a disappointment. Room needs updating! See pictures. My room was double booked, once with points but their system would not issue a key so I had to purchase it again with credit card with assurance they would refund my Hilton points-They did not do this however, until I had to call the Hilton call center and they called the hotel and forced them to refund my Hilton points. A lot of work to stay there for just a few hours so did not fall asleep on Highway 70.

Made a reservation and when we arrived, was told the hotel was overbooked. The lady at the front desk was very rude and indifferent to the situation. We were offered no assistance with alternative accommodations. When calling back the next day for refund, front desk answered, but put on hold while they were talking and laughing with co-workers which could be heard in the background. The front desk never picked phone back up to assist with refund. Horrible experience and horrible customer service. Still trying to figure out how to receive refund. Plenty of other local hotels with much better service. Highly do not recommend this hotel.

āš ļø***Do Not Stay Here*** āš ļøALL personal belongings were stolen out of the room. The only person who the hotel says had access to the room was the housekeeper, and they said it's their word against ours. This is all incredibly bizarre. Like ALL belongings, gone!!! Even toiletries and under clothes!!! Having to file a police report tonight. This is incredibly inconvenient as this happened mid way through a 2 week stay for a work trip. Today, 3 days after I discovered a bare room and all stuff missing and immediately reported it to the front desk, I got a call from the General Manager suggesting maybe I misplaced my things?!?!?! I am posting this as a warning. āš ļø Do not leave ANYTHING in your room unattended. āš ļø

I booked a room at this hotel due to its location (we were headed west and wanted to be clear of traffic). This aspect was handy. While the room and common areas were clean, every area of this hotel needs attention. I stay 25 or 30 nights a year at Hilton properties; I am no travel warrior but I have seen many properties. This is the most run down property I have seen. When we pulled up we noticed many of blinds were torn - visible from the outside. Inside it continued: trim and caulk cracked and loose, our bathroom door did not close in our room, the door lock was finicky and sometimes took many tries to access our room, the window valance was in the closet, etc. I would not stay here again.

I have stayed in many Hamptons in several cities for work so I guess I had a certain expectation. This one is def smaller & altho we slept well & our room was very clean, bed comfy etc...I did not care for the partial wall for hanging our clothing or the slide door for the bathroom. It was hard to shut quietly if you do not wish to disturb. The Front Desk was friendly, parking no issue, and the Breakfast was for the most part very good. It is also very nice to have your choice of coffee, tea or hot cocoa upon arrival or anytime as it is there for Guests in the Lobby. We would probably stay again, but prefer the bigger & older Hampton Inns much better!

The room was tiny and not thoroughly cleaned. There was a lot of dust under the desk area and dirty spots in bathroom corners. We were on the first floor by the exit and we could hear everything - early morning and late night hall sounds and traffic from the interstate. It's a fine location, but I think we will find something else next time where we can get better rest.

We called early on the day we checked-in. The staff were kind to give us early check-ins. They were very accommodating. Unfortunately, when we got back to the hotel in the early morning hours, we found bugs in the two rooms we reserved. They were all over the bathroom, floor, and bed. The hotel stated they knew about the bugs, and they had a note from the exterminator verifying itā€™s not bed bugs. I explained that Iā€™m not comfortable sleeping in a bed/room that has a bug infestation. Unfortunately, even though they knew rooms had bug issues, they didnā€™t save any rooms in the event that the clients paying for these rooms noticed the bugs and wanted to switch. My ride was in a different room, and they refused to comp. his room, so I was unable to go to a different hotel. I didnā€™t have to pay for the room but, I was forced to sleep in a room with bugs. Very alarming that theyā€™re knowingly booking rooms with bugs and not reserving any vacant rooms for people who notice the bugs. They wouldnā€™t pay for an Uber for me to ride to a different hotel, and every hotel in the area was completely booked. If they would have compā€™d the third room, I would have driven back to my home city.

I am allergic to dogs. They advertised no dogs. When we arrived hotel said dogs are allowed. It was too late to change hotels as we had tickets to the Sammy Hagar concert. We had a king room that smelled horrible. The carpet was dirty. This hotel needs to be updated. I had to take allergy extra allergy medicine. Ridiculous as there was a sign by the desk that said no pets. The breakfast was okay, but that was it. I couldn't sleep because it smelled so bad. I almost went out and slept in the car. I felt we were deceived. The coffee was located outside the Breakfast room. It is evident that management is poor.

Disappointed. Not up to Hilton standards in our experience. Room smelled strongly of sweat and mildew. The window shade was in tatters. The mattress was as worn as the shades and not level. The whole mattress tilted downward from left to right as if all the springs on the right side were all broken. Tried to say something to front desk but the area was under a tornado warning. The guests there were nervous and some frantic because the clerk could not find the tornado plan to share with guests and the manager could not be reached.

Spouse & I checked in January 4th 2024 at 5:46 pm. Room # 134. Went to take shower had a hard time turning on faucet. I get in there tried to adjust water temperature I jump out it was scalding hot! Had a terrible time trying to shut off! Husband had the problem with the faucet as well. At breakfast another guest said the same problem. Husband told the desk clerk about it. Her reply: We are aware of this problem. The faucets been all replaced. All of them are the same way. SAFETY CONCERN AND YOUR REPUTATION!! Hampton would not honor senior discount or veterans discount. The room was clean and breakfast was good. Still I felt over priced at $125.26 for 1 night.

coming from someone who is very picky with choosing where to stay, this hotel was a great place to stay for a couple days! the breakfast was good, and MOST of the staff were friendly. the bathroom door is sliding and allows no privacy, it also makes a weird squeaking noise when you slide it. besides that, there was no microwave and the cabinet that the fridge is in opens the opposite way of the fridge door which makes it difficult to access. if you can't sleep with loud AC/heater noises i recommend not staying at this hotel. personally i sleep with a fan so it worked out for me, but i can see how it would be an issue for others. other then that the rooms were clean and i think the room was a great size for our needs. (we stayed in a standard 1 bed room for 2 adults). also fyi make sure you lock your car while staying here because the area is not the best, in my opinion that is not the hotel's fault.

Stay away. Besides abhorrent management, these people donā€™t look like they want to work there. Breakfast lady did not greet anybody. She looked miserable. My room came with one bath towel and my wife used it. I went downstairs to request an additional towel. I went back to the room, 10 minutes passed and nothing. I called this time, front desk person apologized and said she would send somebody. Well, another 10 minutes passed, and had to call once again. The front desk person had the guts to tell me the housekeeper had left my towel on the floor outside the room, nobody knocked or anything, but really??? you are going to leave a bath towel on the FLOOR?? What a joke of a hotel.

We came down around 0910 in the morning for breakfast. There was no breakfast available, 3 slices of bread, the little bit of eggs that where there where soaking wet with fluid. It looked disgusting, no bagels, one orange, no bananas. Also less then a handful of potatoes. Front desk lady had an attitude, when we asked for a hard copy of the receipt. She abruptly said we emailed it to you, then my wife said we will not have access to a printer and we need it for work. But they charged top dollar, for half the service. Thank you Hilton!! For nothing.

Stayed last time and had a good enough experience. Most recent stay was not up to standard. Called prior to coming to reserve a pack and play for our baby and was told theyā€™d add it to our reservation. Asked at checkin and were told they didnā€™t have any. No apology, no offer to do anything to help. I ended up going to Walmart at 10pm to buy one and assemble it so baby would have a place to sleep. In the morning I asked to store it at the front desk while figuring out what we were going to do with it, and the worker there acted annoyed that I asked. Other issues included shower knob sticking so options were too hot or too cold, generally not very clean room, a room overlooking the loud interstate.

This hotel has zero customer service. The first issue started with them sending the wrong link for the blocked rooms for the wedding and we were charged too much from what the sales team had in the written contract. When talking to the manager Leslie she informed me that they will adjust my pricing and refund me the money on the back end after I checked out. The day of check out they provided me with a receipt of what I should be refunded. I waited a week and there was no refund and I even called my credit card company to see if there was an issue on their end and nothing. I called the hotel and they told me that it showed on their end that it was refunded, but no money ever came back. I had asked to speak to the manager and they told me that they would leave note about the issue. The manager has never called me back. Now when I call they automatically send me to a voicemail box to where it is full and you can't leave a message. Do not book anything with Hampton Inn if this is the service they provide.

The stay here was great the rooms were very clean. The service and the welcoming was awesome. I would like to say thank you to Kate and Joe who were friendly and made me feel like home away from home! They were sure to tell meā€¦..if thereā€™s anything I needed to be sure and let them know! You guys have the warm personalities it takes to make a difference in peoples stay.

This hotel was moderately priced, almost the same as the "cheep" rooms at red roof, yet was EXTREMELY CLEAN, THEY HAD GREAT BREAKFAST, VERY NICE STAFF. The location was very easy to get to and the highway was right there, making it easy to get to wherever someone would need to be going right by highway 70. The pool was nice as well.

The Hampton Inn in St. Charles (St Louis) was a decent stay. Itā€™s super conveniently located right off of I-70 and the staff there are super helpful and really nice. You can pretty much park anywhere around the building and get in easily with your key. In the general area there are so many conveniences: a Target, Kohlā€™s, Dennyā€™s, IHOP, MJ dispensary, liquor store, and a steakhouse are very close. The only problem we had was that the climate control thermostat in our room (401) wasnā€™t very responsive and they keep the rooms at 70. So by the time we left three days later it had only gotten down to 68 and the system turning off and on makes big ā€œkachunkā€ sounds that will wake you throughout the night if youā€™re a light sleeper like me. The beds are extremely comfortable however, and to our delight there was a full sized tub in the bathroom complete with full sized mounted shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel dispensers. The products worked great and smelled lovely. Thereā€™s a slide out extension at the bottom of the bedside table thatā€™s great for necessities/device charging and will fit a full CPAP machine. The tables themselves have both usb and traditional outlets making charging your devices a breeze. We liked having a fridge in the room, and thereā€™s always hot coffee/decaf/water in the lobby so we never made our own. The wall closet behind the curtain was interesting but ended up working great. Thereā€™s an iron and an ironing board in there as well. If you like s little sunshine in your room be prepared to wrangle with the window shade - ours didnā€™t snap and roll back up so I had to hand roll it up and kind of tuck it to get it to stay up. The walls are pretty thin, you can hear everything. And because the thermostat doesnā€™t let the air run continuously your night will be spiced up with hall noise, next door room noise, and the best: interstate traffic noise. Jake brakes, sirens, and racing oh my! šŸ˜Š So bring your earplugs or noise canceling devices. In all it was a decent 3 star stay.

  • 1/5 Stan D. 7 months ago on Google
Worst Hampton experience ever! Rooms were in disrepair, right on 8 lane interstate and breakfast was only half prepared because staff failed to show up. Our first room had no curtain! There was just a thin sheer. Front desk says they are on back order. Second room: the bathroom door was partially hanging from the wall and did not close. Third room: there were no other rooms except rooms missing curtains or other guests had already complained about. Hotel is only 30 yds from 8 lanes of interstate. You can hear trucks even over room fan. Mark this as never stay hear again.

Good place to stay. Pool open until midnight, fitness center 24 hrs. It was fairly clean. Service was very good. The elevators were a little scary but had no problems. Hot breakfast was good & replenished often.

Don't know what's going on with Hamptons but this one sign they're not what they used to be....front desk is never at front desk and sign says to call them.....but they don't answer the phone. People standing up front waiting is bad sign. It's clean and nice but looks like they putting a dress on a pig. Staff seems lazy, with trash in corners and this first time ever I had 8 packets of decaf coffee and no real coffee. Really? I asked for real coffee but no one is here to answer questions so. No guest laundry....which is a first time as well. Wont stay here again. Person at front desk was nice but seemed like they just wanted to hurry up and leave the desk again....2 stars because it was nice looking and had breakfast

This hotel seriously needs some renovations. The room is pretty clean but the interior is a bit dated and the window shade is failing apart but the hotel is in a great convenient location. Price is reasonable and EV chargers on site is a plus! Hot tub and indoor pool are nice. Great way to relax after a long day of driving. Consider staying here again in the future.

Older Hampton Inn, but the rooms were clean. Was disappointed to find out after we arrived that our room didn't have a microwave. The front desk staff was nice enough to open the breakfast area so we could heat our food. Hotel is adjacent to I-70 so lots of traffic noise and the exits on either side of the hotel were under construction which was a bit of a pain. Hotel was full one of the nights we were there and lots of trucks/trailers parked so parking was an issue, especially late in the night.

Overall a quality facility at a reasonable price. My room was comfortable, quiet and well maintained. The staff is attentive and helpful. Breakfast is provided, but is of marginal quality. I tried the breakfast once just once, and ate out afterwards. I would stay here again, but first I will try a different hotel when I am in the area again.

Bathroom floor was grimy on my feet, the bottom of my feet turned black so I didn't walk barefoot after that. Used to be a much nicer hotel in the past. The lady with the long black hair told me to wait in the breakfast room until a room was ready even though I was told a room would be ready by a certain time. So I just decided to sit in the lobby and that's when she told me a room was ready. I also asked for a late checkout & the lady with the short blonde hair kept knocking on the door while I was trying to gather my things. There was barely any other people staying at the hotel so I don't understand what the big rush about especially for the price I paid for the room. Cleaner hotels elsewhere with much more friendlier staff Won't waste any more money here ever again, not to mention the rooms are small and extremely outdated

  • 3/5 Heather A. 1 year ago on Google
Not sure itā€™s an older hotel or what but Iā€™ve never stayed in such a small room. Or maybe Iā€™m use the suites they have. We got a play pen for the toddler to stay in, which was broke. When I told them girl said she didnā€™t even know they have them. Upon leaving I let the girl at desk know the play pen was broke, the bed closest to the window was broken at the bottom and could cause injury to Someone if not fixed. Note to selfā€¦ never stay right by the elevators. You will be hearing it all night long. The only ice machine was on 4th floor, so we went up and got what we needed, I also let them know the ceiling up there looked like it had water damage and mold was starting. I have to go back next month, but donā€™t think Iā€™ll be staying there again.

Super clean rooms, lots of towels, and the if you get a king bed you will not be disappointed, this might be the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. The staff is super friendly and helpful! Shout out to Roschelle (sorry if I butchered that) for going above and beyond!

Stayed here one night for a basketball tournament. Didn't have any issues. Staff were great and the rooms were decent for what we paid. Would recommend staying here in the future. Not too far from some restaurants and really close to the Harley-Davidson store which was a plus for us.

DO NOT STAY HERE Someone attempted to break into my room 3 separate times while we were in there trying to sleep. They tried to force the door open and ran away when I asked who it was. My neighbor also had someone try to enter his room. The staff was not helpful when this was happening and at first said that there were no cameras so they couldn't check to see what happened. It took me 3 days to get the manager (Ashley) on the phone and when she spoke with me she said they checked the cameras and no one came in from the front entrance so they would not provide a refund. Putting me in a "my word vs yours situation" and clearly trying to brush me aside. After asking to speak to her superiors she got the refund done. However, initially it seemed like she had no intent on helping. Unless you want to spend your stay guarding your belongings and fearing for your family I would certainly not recommend to anyone. I am done with this chain altogether. Everyone should check out all the low reviews on this hotel. I've been finding many similar stories since I started looking into it.

The room was reasonably clean. The staff on duty tried to deal with the situation as best they could. However, many factors made the stay the worst hotel experience I have had in the last 20 years. There was no keys that would work and the key problem had been going on for at least three days affecting many rooms. Another guest tried to contact the manager, but she/he never returned her communication. The room was the smallest room for a king size bed I have ever stayed in in the US. The room was next to the elevator shaft and very noisy all night. It is the only hotel room I have stayed in without a microwave oven. While my wife and I stayed in the room, there was only one hand towel. The cost of the room was much more than a much nicer and larger room we stayed in the next night. My stay greatly damaged my view of the reputation of the Hampton Inn and the Hilton hotel chain. It amazed me that no reduction in the cost of room was offered given the multiple problems described above. I hope you make the changes necessary for such events not to affect future visitors to your hotel.
