The food was fantastic, but we went about 2:30 in the afternoon and they weren't busy, but it took quite some time to get our food. Our waitress was amazing and very attentive!!

Five stars & beyond! Great Teamwork! Autumn, our server, very efficient & personable. We would ask for again. I would recommend any of the shrimp appetizer. The Salmon was delicious! I like that Granite City carries other local beer on tap.

Excellent dinner tonight and very friendly service. We all really enjoyed our entrees. I was nervous to order the Buffalo Mac and Cheese but they knocked it out of the park. Just the right amount of creamy with that slight Buffalo kick.

Meatloaf and mashed potatoes, avocado grilled cheese with sautéed mushrooms, and gluten free chicken sandwich with asparagus. Food was great. With 2 additional adult burgers and 3 additional kids meals, it was still nearly under a hundred bucks. High quality food. Great servers! And a big menu. Awesome buffet on Sunday mornings too. They have beer, but I did not have any. Vegan and gluten free options are available. Gf buns for any gg burger or sandwich.

We got loaded waffle fries as an appetizer - they were room temp coming out. The Bison burger was good, as was my kids chicken Alfredo, million dollar burger, and turkey club. My daughter asked for her turkey club on plain bread, not whole grain - it came on whole grain. However, overall the food was good.

We ordered takeout today and the food was not the greatest. We ordered grilled cheese for my daughter and she got pepperoni pizza (the ticket that was on the bag even said grilled cheese), my steak was medium rare/medium when I ordered it rare, and the green beans still had the stems on them (which is strange). It was kind of a bummer for the price.

Came here on Thursday, June 2nd with a party of 7. First I'd like to give a huge shout out to the impeccable service that Rick, our waiter provided. Our drinks never went low, all of our requests were fulfilled promptly, he was informative and knowledgeable about the menu, friendly, tentative, and offered a complete wow experience. I trust that management will reward Rick in some way to show that he is valued. Second, the kitchen folk deserve a huge shout out as well as all of our food came out exactly the way it was requested in addition to everything tasting great. The burgers were especially fantastic. The food industry can often be thankless but my party would like to extend our thanks again to this location and all of the staff who worked together in unison to create this wonderful dining experience for us.

Usually pretty good, especially with portions. I only cut one small peice off the steak, otherwise this is all I got for green beans (half what I normally get) and potatoes. Steak was supposed to be medium and is closer to well done. Think I'll order something else tonight.

I'm in love this place. We went for the first time on Valentine's day, the couples 3 course dinner was amazing. Me and my husband will definitely be coming back the chicken tuscon was by far our favorite. It was a little more expensive than your family dinner, but well worth the price. If you're looking for a nice place for a date or to impress the in laws this is a great place! All the servers were amazing while we were there despite the busy holiday, just a great environment and atmosphere here!

Upon first walking into the establishment, the environment was modern and moderately welcoming. We first got drinks, All Hazed Out IPA for him and a vodka cranberry with muddled mint and lime for me–they were great! I ordered a cup of chicken tortilla soup before the meal, it wasn't very traditional. For dinner, we ordered the pot roast and a chicken pot pie. The pot roast was a little dry but good and generous in portion. The chicken pot pie was chicken and veggie soup with puff pastry on top. I needed crackers to thicken it up. I also had a side of green beans which were a little undercooked but decent. The waitstaff was great and attentive, but the drinks did take a little time to arrive.

We went here a few years ago (maybe 2016) and it was uninspiring. In April 2022 we decided to try it again. I will say that the amount of food ingot was enough for two people. It was hot and fresh and had a great flavor. It was super busy while we were there so as to be expected in any restaurant the wait staff was stretched out and didn't come to the table as much as they would under perfect conditions. I won't knock them for this as I have worked in the restaurant industry in the past. 2 of our 7 dishes came out about 2-3 minutes after the rest again to be expected during a super busy time of day (lunch). To our surprise it seems the menu had been changed for the better since our previous visit and the flavor of the food had greatly increased. At this time I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a change in scenery. As for the prices they seem to be in line with the amount of food you get and other restaurants in the area. I'm giving 4 stars as our previous visit wasn't the best. At that time I probably would have only given the restaurant 2 stars.

Called 1 hr and half before we (a large party of 12) needed to be seated after our other reservations fell through. Katie said to come on in and they'll have a high top for us. All of the staff were great. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. Our server, Tina, was awesome. I ordered the southwest turkey burger; no complaints!! Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. We had a great time. Thank you, Granite City. 😊

First time eating here and will definitely come back. Environment was welcoming and food was delicious! My mother ordered the top sirloin and it was tender and perfectly seasoned. Garlic potatoes weren’t over the top and had great texture. Our server, Sam, was probably the best server I’ve had. Enthusiastic and is very alert to the customers needs. We could tell she loved what she was doing and treats each customer individually. Also noticed kitchen staff were smiling, joking, and keeping conversation together which was nice to see. In all, was a wonderful experience!

We came here for a birthday brunch with a group of 14 people, and it was a great experience! We got mimosas and the brunch buffet. Absolutely delicious! Adayla was our sever and did an excellent job. She was friendly and quick to take our orders and give us our checks when we asked. I would highly recommend this Sunday brunch to anyone!

Bring the family! Food is not at eye opening but I’m sure you will not be leave hungry. Do not go on Sunday for regular menus. Enjoy the Sunday brunch

I went here for the Sunday brunch in the past month and it was good but not great. The waitress was so in her own head it took about 20 minutes to get our drinks from the time we sat down. Being we had a buffet, we didn’t need much service to begin with, but if I’m completely honest, I had only talked to our waitress three times throughout our dining experience. Once when we were seated, when we got our drinks, and when we paid for our meal. Not to mention the shrimp cocktail sauce during brunch had thee oddest flavor, I definitely wouldn’t recommend. If I’m honest I’ve had better bought from a store. Also, the salad served was at best at least a day old. The eggs Benedict ordered from the 2 chefs cooking on site, was inedible. Unfortunately, I didn’t even know you could make an eggs Benedict that bad. Knowing how much you pay it is just very unfortunate. I’m just hoping to see this restaurant do better in the future.

Haven’t been to one of these since the one in Roseville, MN. The food was okay, the service was good and it was a little late on Sunday and there was not many people there. I suspect that’s why the food was not as warm and fresh as if the kitchen would have been busy. The raspberry lemonade was watered down with not much flavor. I was a little disappointed. The Idaho nachos were not warm at all and sat waiting to come to our table for way too long!! My daughter, grandkids and I ate them anyway because we were hungry.

I always love the food at granite city. The service was pretty good and staff were very friendly and kind. I would rather take out then sit in because of the fruit flies, it gets hard to enjoy the meal. I’ve only sat in twice and each time I have a hard time finishing my food and waiting to leave because if it. Overall good place to eat

We stop here a time or two a year. Not nearly enough. The food is fantastic, the beers are exceptional as is the service! Absolute gem. I will post pics on next trip. I had the French Onion Soup last visit. Exceptional!

Stopped for an early dinner and was honestly less than impressed. We got the Idaho nachos as an appetizer and the fries were over done and there were very limited toppings on. Had the Alfredo as an entree and it tasted like jar Alfredo sauce. The best part was the garlic bread. We got the millionaire burger and it was okay as well. The bacon was good and the burger itself was average. For the price definitely expected more.

Good food and the beer chaser that came with my Bloody Mary was amazing. The Bloody Mary not so much. I had the Cajun jambalaya which was okay, the rice was mushy and stuck in balls of mush. It was worth a try though. Then there was the bus boy or man that stood in the corner awkwardly eyeing tables up. We we not even fully up from our table and he was there cleaning it off. No line at the door so the rush was unnecessary.

Had a party of seven including four adults and three children stop by for lunch. Even though we were basically one of the first ones in the restaurant and seated felt we could have received our food a little faster. Was about 25 minutes from when our order was placed to food delivered. Our waitress was very good and promptly brought everything from additional ranch dressing to more diet soda when asked. Food reports from my table very good ranging from your basic cheeseburgers, chicken tenders and fries for kids to shrimp tacos to Asian salad for the adults My chicken tortilla soup was very flavorful but the barbeque beef sandwich was too salty and didn't have anything on it. Just a basic bun with meat. Thought they could at least dress it up with something from pickles to slaw. Easy off street parking with handicap entrance. Overall a good experience at Granite City but didn't stand out like others. Will give it a second shot sometime in evening hours and see if this improves

A good chain brewery with a decent spread of beer styles. Bar service was speedy (beer and food) and the staff personable and knowledgeable about the offerings. Shiny place with good atmosphere inside and out. Portion sizes seem large but prices are what you might expect from a casual brewpub.

Great beer and food! The happy hour and daily specials are too good to be true. My wife and I had three pints each, a huge bowl of spinach and artichoke dip with tortilla chips and pita, a plate of roasted brussel sprouts and split a burger that comes with a side. All was really good! Add to that a 64 oz growler fill to go, all for $66 tax and tip included! Can't beat that!

On Saturday 6/11 we had a group of about 40+ come to Granite City for supper. We were in town for the youth softball tournaments. We were a mix of kids and adults. Everyone in this group praised the friendly staff, the delicious food, the wonderful service, and the great atmosphere. We were treated exceptionally well, the wait staff worked like a well-oiled machine and we had a blast. I highly recommend Granite City in St. Cloud, MN. It was a really great experience for us. Thank you so much.

I drove 157 miles today to meet two friends from northern MN for lunch at your restaurant. Every time we come, the service is great and the food is exceptional and again today, you exceeded our expectations. Since the pandemic, many restaurants have had issues recruiting and keeping staff. Your staff was courteous, helpful and had a great attitude. Our server was Ben, and he did great! It was worth the 157 miles to enjoy a meal with my friends and thank you again for the great lunchtime experience.

We enjoyed brunch out on the terrace, the flowers were beautiful and the environment inviting. The server was very good and friendly. We all ordered the brunch buffet for the first time and had mixed feelings. There seemed like many options, but there are limited options for a vegetarian and little to none for a vegan. The caramel roles were ok, but not my favorite. The fresh fruit was nice, the salad lacked any dressing, and the Mac n cheese lacked cheese, though one in our party enjoyed the Cajun Mac n cheese very much. They had a sanitizing station and asked for everyone to wear a mask in line, but we were the only ones who did. For the price, I suppose I was hoping for a bit more variety, but it was not all disappointing.
