Always an amazing experience here! The nice thing about this place is if you don't like your meal then it's on you! You create it! That being said, they have a wonderful assortment of ingredients and sauces so everyone is bound to find a combination that they will love! I personally get the spiral noodles, broccoli, chicken, and pepperoni, and sometimes the sliced sausage, then ask for alfredo and cheese sauce at the grill. So delicious!!

Great food, busy at times that can have longer lines but they do get through it pretty fast for the amount of food cooked. Plus it seams there's no limit to whats in your bowl, just needs to get to the grill. Lol good fun cooks acrobatics are cool. I'd go back

Great take on the typical Mongolian Grill theme. Instead of feeling frustrated with the price of an unlimited buffet and only being able to eat one bowl, they offer a single bowl price and add $3 if you get refills. So people like me can still eat with their partners who will make multiple trips. Today we both only made one trip, so the $3 fee didn't even come into play. I liked that they add it at the end in case your eyes were bigger than your stomach. They have an interestingly wide range of ingredients and recipe cards for making flavor combinations. Their meats are lean and trimmed well. The sauces are clearly labeled with names and spice levels. They even have some dry spices at the grill that you can add to your bowl to maximize flavors. The grilling is done very well and your food is finished quickly. I was very pleased with the quality, price and service. Very impressive!

This place was great! It was my first time and wasn't sure what to expect , so basically you get a bowl and you put everything you want them to cook for you in it , I learned from other customers the best way to do this is stack your veggies in the middle build your meat up on the sides and put the noodles on top , the bowl isn't very big , but then you get sauces to put on that , they have spices and various toppings. Which are all amazing , then you hand the cooks your bowl they cook it up on a huge flat top grill area and you can pick white rice or fried rice , then they are even more sauces and toppings , and it was soooo good my son enjoyed it so much he went back the next day

The restaurant was clean. I thought the grill was a little too hot and they cooked your food just a bit too long. I really like the way the buffet is set up. Makes sense. I thought the sauces were lacking in flavor. I would try it again.

One of my favorite places in St. Cloud. I will stop here during every visit to the area. Make sure you build the wall to maximize your bowl. Don't know what that means? See the image for an example of my work. Enjoy the build your own stir-fry - keep supporting Mongo's! Hope they can re-open in the cities someday!

Boy, things have changed since the last time we ate here. They no longer post "recipes" for how many scoops and what type of sauce to produce the taste you are looking for. The grills were possibly too hot. My food was semi charred and tasted burnt. The baby corn was huge and very tough. Had to spit into my napkin. Most of the vegetables were very overdone. Cook scraping the grill to the middle, was scraping almost solid black, burnt food debris into the hole. We've eaten here in St. Cloud and other locations, and have always had colorful flavorful plates of stir fry. Very disappointing. It's an hour drive for us, so probably won't be back.

Haven't been at Mongo's in over a year, however, it's still as great as it ever was. Service was good. Food and its preparers were engaging like always. The Peanut Butter Pie was tasty, and the rest of the desserts look tempting too.

This may be my favorite restaurant in St Cloud and absolutely my favorite Mongolian BBQ. I love to build my bowl around pad thai noodles and am sure to include fruit -- pineapple and cranberries. Always remember to add at least 7-8 sauces. For me, two eggs add to the stir fry is perfection.

In town for training, and of course got sick. These noodles and smoothie were perfect! Excellent delivery from Door dash. Would definitely return.

I used to come here all the time, and it remained my favorite for years, the song when you rang the gong and the song was cheerful. Went just a few months back for someone else's birthday and was still really good. But just earlier today we went in for my birthday, not only was the selection of noodles smaller than it used to be, but the sauces seemed watered down, and had no flavor to it. You used to be able to actually taste the flavor, but when we went, my whole group agreed that the noodles just tasted bland. The song when you ring the gong is also disappointing now, and seems mumbled and without enthusiasm. I dont know what changed in the last 3 months, but i don't think ill be coming back anytime soon.

We went there for the first time yesterday. It was so freaking delicious, that I'm still thinking about it today. We were just passing through, but we will be sure to stop again next time. Thank you for a fantastic meal! We took advice of other reviewers, and used more sauces and sesame oil then you think you need, otherwise it might be dry. It was just PERFECT!

When Mongos first opened, it was such a treat to go in and have this adventure in food that you created, and they cooked. While it still was fun, coming as a group and getting to sit at a table with great conversation, the cooking part was the issue because they did not clean the grill off and my food had carbon that had been burned onto the large cooking Surface. I chose not to complain and ate my food by dousing it with honey. I believe they need to do a little more training for their cooking staff to create that adventure in eating feel again. Don't get me wrong, I understand that they are working hard. It's just that with a little more training, I feel they could be exemplary show cooks.

*** Everyone has a different experience *** You can built your own dishes at this restaurant. Every time we go to St. Cloud, we have to eat here. The bars offer a variety of Veggies, Proteins, Noodles, Sauces, and Spices to create your bowl. There are two additional options for the sides, either mixed in or not mixed in with your bowl. The taste of the meal depends on the ingredient you choose for your bowl. The price for the One Bowl Lunch is about $19 (Include Tax). For those who don't eat much like me, One Bowl is a good choice. Instead of taking two times with a little food in a bowl with the Unlimited Bowl option which is higher price. I always take the food as much food as I can eat in a bowl at one time for the One Bowl option. For those who are able to eat more, the Unlimited Bowl option is a good choice. The more bowls you eat, the better deal you can get.

There's so many choices of topping and mix ins. The best part is you can get two eggs with rice mixed in free of charge. Sauces are good but make sure you grab some seasoning as well if you like a punch of flavor. I do wish I could get an egg roll and a ginger dressed salad though as sides.

If you know a bit about seasoning your own food, then you'll love this place. My dish turned out fantastic!!!!!

I had made a bowl went to eat it and just felt icky. My mom didn’t feel well a couple hours after eating also. Our waiter was a kind gentleman and I was able to go up and make a new bowl for left overs because the first bowl the fish I had in it tasted like it was sitting out for 5+ hours. Most of the employees had an attitude, but you can expect that dinning out in Saint Cloud. Really the only good thing about our lunch was our waiter. The rest was.. ick.

With so many options to add into the bowl, you would think you'd want a bigger one to start with. It was not the case for our party as we mounded the goodies sky high, and handed the bowls over to the skilled cooks. They didn't look at us sideways about how full our bowls were either because they know it cooks down into a smaller sized, albeit rather large serving. The food was fresh and the service was great! We need one of these in Alec💗

I recently made a trip to Mongo's Grille. I do have to say that this would not have been my first choice for Asian food, but my adult son and girlfriend insisted. I was also curious. I found the whole experience to be quite fun and different from the typical sit-down dining. You basically create your own meal and their chefs make it while you watch. Keep in mind that if you don't like your meal, you made it.. I will definitely go back. Make sure you overload your bowl.

Came here because this is my favorite place to eat. Drove over an hr to eat here and the cooks treated us like dirt. I admit my bowl was a little full, but that’s what you’re supposed to do. We had to-go containers and the cook filled my girlfriend’s nice and neat and then mine he didn’t even attempt to put the lid on and had an attitude about it. Worst food service experience I’ve ever had and debating if I ever want to come back.
