A very nice restaurant behind a truck stop. Our waitress was so nice. I was there with two girlfriends and we were in no rush, the waitress was accommodating. I ordered the bourbon burger and it was fantastic, I also ordered the wild rice soup and that was very good as well. The fries were tasty, seasoned perfect. My friends steak was cooked perfectly and was very tender. My other friend ordered the Reuben sandwich and that looked delicious as well. I will definitely go back to RJ's. You should check it out too.

The restaurant was not even at 1/4 of its capacity if that when we showed up. We notified the restaurant multiple times prior to arrival that we would be having a larger party of 10+ people and were assured that there would be no issue with seating us. Unfortunately this restaurant does not allow reservations to be made which is mind boggling for a place that is considered more ritzy and low key. There were multiple open spots available upon arrival but were given the run around as to why our party "couldn't" be seated when we questioned why we couldnt be seated right away due to the amount of open tables that could simply be pushed together. Due to the fact that it was 6pm when our party arrived and the restaurant closing at 8pm we were given the treatment of "waiting" to try and force us to leave so they didn't have to serve us as we were essentially the only party yet to receive service however they realized we weren't going to just "leave" due to their laziness. After waiting 55 minutes and watching about 5 other smaller parties of 2-4 people come and be seated before us and other larger groups leave with their tables being cleared and able to fit our party without issue.... we were finally seated in a different spot completely separated by two tables when the other tables could have sat our entire group as previously mentioned. Our wait staff was nice but you can definitely tell the head of house staff/management at this restaurant has a definitive lack of customer service that needs to be addressed. Considering the fact that this restaurant is open Monday- Friday from 11am-8pm you can tell that the management has problems when you can't stay open past 8pm and especially on weekends when that is the best time to get business. I won't be back and definitely don't recommend this place to anyone... not worth your time or money. The food was sub par. You can get better food at other establishments nearby with far better service... not to mention they won't give you attitude when you simply ask a question regarding wait times to be seated.

We had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. Everyone was very friendly. We ordered pizza and a few drinks. It was a nice experience. I would return, although I won’t be eating the pizza again. It was fair.

This place looked very inviting, the menu was intriguing, but my review is due to no experience. We were out for evening ride (motorcycle) we picked a random place to try. We arrived about 7 and as we approached the door it said they close at 8. We proceeded inside and looked around, didn't look too busy and we could provide our order timely to give the cooks time and ability to shut down on time. As we walked in the host had her back turned to the door and doing something on the computer. She didn't acknowledge that we had walked in. We were talking about the ride so we weren't quiet. When she was done doing what she was doing then she turned around, and said "oh 2, what's your name? There's at least a 20-minute wait". As we looked around, we noticed no one sitting at the bar, there were a bunch of booths that were empty, we were like um okay. She then says there's a bench there or you can sit at the bar and get a drink. We decided to go wait outside. As we watching other people walk in and not come back out, we decided that we weren't going to wait any longer. It's unfortunately since the reviews are very promising but our experience is lack of experience. We didn't even get the opportunity and we honestly feel that we were either under dressed, didn't fit the attire or she plainly was trying to not seat any more people due to the time of night, which contradicts the fact that other people arrived after us. This is one to say I will not go back and try.

The restaurant itself was very nice. It’s more upscale and where it’s located I wonder if they get much business. The food was not the greatest. The Walleye sandwich had zero flavor. The fries had a nice “crunch” to them, although it lacked flavor as well. The waitress was sweet. Although she didn’t ask us how the meal was and left our glasses empty for longer than they should have. I feel $17 for the sandwich was over the top a bit and was not worth it.

Overall solid. Many classics but all slightly elevated, especially in terms of quality ingredients. I never mind paying a bit more if the quality is reflective of the price. Well done. Fish tacos were quite tasty and the coba burger rocked. They were very accommodating when I wanted to switch out the pretzel bun for a brioche and raw jalapeño instead of crispy fried jalapeños. Great atmosphere and decor that isn’t overly busy. I will definitely return.

Hands down the 2nd best Fish Sandwich I have ever had. If you are in the area, definitely getcho fish on!!

It's pricey and we were not impressed with the food. The bloody Mary virgin I had was good. Great spice but no celery stalk. The wife had a margarita and said it was good. The Reuben Sandwich I had was flavorless. Could not even tell it was corned beef. Honestly I have had a better Reuben from Arby's. The wife had the Korean beef tacos and again, no flavor. Could not tell the difference between the meat's. Should have trusted my gut and left when the wife asked for a small taste of the cilantro ranch dressing before she ordered it and the server said " I can ask the chef but we don't give out samples." She did bring a spoonful out for her to try. Bailey out server was awesome and friendly. She did take off the sandwich since I only took 3 bites out of it.

A lengthy post...but, Wow what an unexpected special treat this was! 🍹🍺🍽️🍰🌮 Beautiful place for a special occasion meal or just to have a delicious beverage and appetizers in a very nicely decorated, clean restaurant. My son treated me to a meal here for my 58th belated birthday 🎈 Seriously, you will be pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere here, very friendly, prompt 😊 smiling ,well dressed staff. You feel very welcomed right when you walk in. We had a delicious Bloody Mary and a Cold Blue Moon, and waters. I ordered fish tacos with a special sauce, tangy yet sweet, some fresh cole slaw in a soft shell. Delicious!!! A side of red, black corn chips and salsa also came with the meal.👍 The Reuben looked and was delicious with hot seasoned fries, very tasty and quite generously portioned 😊 We topped it off with a piece of mouth watering cheesecake! Took home 1 of the 3 tacos I couldn't finish and treated my husband, he loved it!! Seriously, go visit this place I think you will be very impressed also ! Great selection of drinks and a little bit of everything for appetizers and meals on the menu 💕 Kudos to RJ's owners and all staff 👍👍. We'll be back 😁. I only have 1 picture, phone battery low 🙁

Stopped here with the family. I had the bourbon pork chop. It. Was. AMAZING! Absolutely delicious! My wife had the Korean tacos, she said they were great as well. My son had a pizza that was cheesy, and baked perfectly! My daughter had the macaroni and cheese kids meal, and even that was phenomenal! If you're in the area, make this your dinner spot. Friendly staff, great food, and a good atmosphere. You CANNOT go wrong.

Jalapeno cream cheese wontons were delicious! Requested the bourbon burger done medium and it was well done and then some. The walleye blt was tasty!

Had dinner here last night with my family for Valentine's. I can't believe it was my first time-the food was DELICIOUS. The service was welcoming and professional. Recommend the maple salmon and walleye appetizer. Go here if you want a nice meal with good atmosphere and great service!

Very nice lunch experience, friendly staff and good food, a bit pricey but who isn't these days. My only legitimate complaint is that they were very skimpy on the pizza toppings. Morgan gets all the stars, more than 5 for sure, I wish every waitress was as good as she is. Very professional and informative, above and beyond excellent!

Give this great place a chance. You wouldn't be disappointed. The location is a bit odd, but you'll love the food and the atmosphere. 5 stars for me.

Enjoyed a lovely dinner at RJ's tonight. Upscale decor with nice music on in the background. Loved the very comfortable banquettes. Each table had enough space to converse and sit comfortably. All of the staff from the host to the servers to the manager were attentive and polite. Old fashioned cocktails were well-executed and the Cajun tenderloin bites were delicious. Main meal was the RJ's house pizza and the bourbon pork chop. Pork chop was cooked perfectly to my request of medium and the sides of broccoli and mashed potatoes were well-seasoned. Very generous portions, too! A very nice spot in St. Cloud!

I eat here every time I'm in town and I'm always pleased when I do. The signature cocktails, salads, Koren Beef tacos and home-made pizzas are all very good. Eventually I'll try everything on the menu but so far so good! Don't let the location fool you, this is one of the best restaurants in the area!

I stopped at RJs during a work commute and noticed it was pretty unassuming on the outside. the atmosphere was pretty upscale for a truck stop. The food was great and so was the service. If you are there when they have the prime rib dip special...do not hesitate.

Don’t let the outside of the building fool you. A friend and I decided to try this place out. This place is really nice on the inside. Our waitress Bailey was very friendly we both ordered the Ribeyes with red skin potatoes. Our steaks were cooked to our request. You can not go wrong with this place. I will definitely be coming back next time I’m through the area.

Great place to eat and have a conversation. Lovely atmosphere, great food and wonderful service. Walleye sandwich was crunchy and light. Bourbon burger was flavorful and hearty. The fries are crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and lightly seasoned. Great place for a date or a group of friends.

This place always surprises me because, despite its location, the food is good and the ambience inside makes you forget that you are in a gas station where big trucks are parked right outside. This restaurant is an example of inside beauty. If you are driving on I94 and want to have a real and good meal, take this exit in St. Cloud and try this restaurant. Again, don't get discouraged by the McDonald's sign and the gas station. Check the menu with plenty salad options, entries, and burgers. It is not cheap though. It is exactly the price you would expect from seeing the pictures.

What a gem! We wanted to find something near our gas stop, and there they were! My husband said they were the best fish tacos he's ever had, and my burger was delicious! We topped 'er off with the creme brulee. Great find!

Really good food. House salad was one of the best I've had at a restaurant. Delicious Build-your-own-burger. Excellent, fresh brewed, bottomless coffee! Nice cozy atmosphere. Fast and friendly service (Thank you, Morgan!) Very good music, on this day, if you like crooners.

My wife and I got the salmon and walleye. Every part of our meals were cooked perfectly! And ordered a old fashion which the bartender made perfectly! Nice calm setting in there. Staff was very polite and professional! Had a great night out there! Thank you!

Usually I have great service, but this past Friday it was terrible. We came early, 4:30, and no one else was in the back section. It took an hour and a half to be served two burgers. We watched five other parties come in, order, and get their food before we did. No apologies from the waitress, no offer to comp the meals. just an”oh” when I told her how upset I was. I was calm when I told her why I was upset, but again she just looked at me dumbfounded. We paid for our drinks and left. I won’t go back even though it’s always been one of my favorite places to go. Had the waitress made any effort to make up for taking so long I wouldn’t feel this way.
