First of all I want to start by saying I felt very uncomfortable. I walked into the restaurant being the only black person there(which is understandable) but to be stared at like was unnecessary. Even as I continued to get seated by the waiter, still received discomfited glares and stares. Secondly, the food was under-seasoned, burnt, or inedible. The chicken was under seasoned and over cooked, the potato wedges were burnt and inedible, and the ground beef for the tacos were over cooked, mushy, and under-seasoned. The only thing I can say I took into account was the mac and cheese and steamed broccoli. Don’t Recommend.

Did you get the memo? The new hours are reduced to 11-4 so keep note. The lunch buffet is $12.49 - a pretty good deal. The staff is very friendly and attentive to refills(pepsi products). The peanut butter bars hit the spot after a couple trips to the salad bar. Would definitely come back again.

First time eating here and I'll have to say I have never been to a buffet where everything tasted good. But this is the exception, everything was spot on for flavor. Staff was friendly and checked in on us often. Definitely got our money's worth. I normally judge a buffet by their Mac and cheese and this Mac was πŸ‘Œ delicious. They even offered extra cheese sauce on the side. Bingo! Can't forget that salad bar either. So many options and it was all fresh. What a Bonanza!

Very good food. My most memorable place as a kid. I'm 47 now. And when I was old enough to walk, I collected the little sword's! Thanks for you're service to St Cloud for many years! Will miss this place when it closes...

First time ever going. Decently priced. Didn't know we had to order steaks or chicken beforehand so that was kind of weird. Just ordered salad bars which was okay, we found enough to fill up on plus dessert bar. The manager was nice to check on us after he checked all the other tables. I feel like serving staff could have been a little bit more pleasant and more knowledgeable about things. Overall it was satisfying I guess.

We have experienced this Bonanza over a dozen times and while we always found our food and the buffet average, this is not true with our recent visit. We got the chicken fried steak and it came out cold and the gravy cold and hard. My sirloin was fine but my baked potato was hard. The buffet was not so good with less choices and some of them overcooked. Perhaps their highest rating was their service. They did check on us often with drink refills. The most disappointing was the price tag. They are now too high and we can get a much better steak for only a few dollars more at Texas Roadhouse.

They have a buffet (salad bar) that satisfies whatever you are hungry for. Their menu items are varied and are also very tasty and are very filling. The atmosphere is friendly and all the staff are very accommodating and receptive to your needs. I would recommend this eating establishment very highly.

We love this place and there selection for buffet items and off the menu choices. We come from northern Minnesota twice a month and always stop to eat here. Would give 5 stars for quality and service, but over the past couple of months have been disappointed with closed doors. Once when we were running late we called to see how late they served and were told if we arrived before 7, the buffet would still be open to us. When we went in at 10 minutes before 7 we were turned away by an employee who told us it was too late. Another time when we were arrived they were closed due to sewer problems.(Probably not their fault, but an update on the phone or website would have been appreciated!) Then yet another time when I called to see when they changed to supper prices and they said 4 pm. We got there a little after 3 pm and they were closed. Maybe whoever answered didn't know what day it was? We hadn't heard they were going to start closing at three. Frustrating at best to drive the extra 60 miles from Little Falls where we drive to for medical appointments. Especially when gas prices are so high.

This is the First time we've been here since they reopened. The food was good. But the prices have gone ridiculous the only Prices that hasn't doubled was the Buffet when we stopped it was $12.99, Most everything else was Double I ordered the Senior Chopped Steak it was $16.99 and mushroom and onions and additional $5.99. Not terrible but this is Bonanza the chain was founded as a Low Cost Family Restaurant, the Menu does not reflect that in any way. The Steak prices were in the $20.00 range old prices in the $8.99, $9.99, $10.99, ranges. Considerably Different. The Salad Bar, The Hot Bar, and Dessert Bar, where all the Same as in the past. It was not any higher quality food or healthier food then in the past. The Food was as good as in the past I don't know if it's worth the price. We'll have to think about going back for the Pricing.

I had eaten at Bonanza about 5 years ago, I would not have gone back if a coworker had wanted to go there. I had their lunch buffet 6 times in the past 2 months. It was delicious. A good variety, the food was very fresh, the host/hostesses were very friendly and it has been wonderful. I found out last week that this location is closing and that is really sad. If you haven't been there quite a while, give it another chance. I will be visiting a couple of more times.

Checked out again. This time went the steak route. Ok, steak was cooked just as liked From 15 for regular to 24 is a bit much. 9$ for 10oz steak is above board, but hey, it was good. So choose to or not to do steak, it is okay!

The food was okay. It was expensive for the quality of the food. We had a little one that only wanted a piece of fruit, I asked to pay for like a side since she was not having anything else, there response was if you sit you have to pay. So we paid almost $7 for one piece of fruit. So make sure everyone in your group is hungry, you can't sit and visit and just have a cup of coffee or dessert. I just thought the service and the food was just okay. I wouldn't rave about it, and it won't be our first choice for a place to eat.

Apparently you cannot get salad bar only, you have to order the buffet which is $14.95. if I would have known this I would not have gone to this restaurant. I am a small person and I don't eat $15 worth of food at a time. The beverage is $2 extra. Fortunately I'm okay with water. When I got to the buffet line, some of the plates available to grab still had food residue on them. I reached several plates down on the pile and that one still had food residue on it but I just scraped it off with my fingernail. I would have liked chili but the only soup offering was wild rice. The meatloaf was excellent, and I normally don't like meatloaf. The chicken was good. I wonder if I could ask for the child size buffet, or do I have to be under a certain age?

I worked in bars and restaurants most of my life. This buffet was clean, delicious and really friendly staff. Wish it was in our home town.

Just wanted to say thank you for all the wonderful years of service as a big chain restaurant. I remember the great food and always at a fair price. Ours has been gone for many years now and a stupid Sonic drive in sits in its place today. Your fan from Grand Forks, ND
